I really want to thank Billy and Dennis for recommending the Eaz-Lift r3 Recurve weight-distribution hitch, it is amazing. They took the time to explain how to use it and to make sure it was adjusted correctly for my specific towing needs. After it was installed, I drove over 2,000 miles to get home to Las Vegas and Dennis continued to follow up during my trip to make sure that everything was going well. Even though I live in Las Vegas, I now have friends in Macon at Mid-State RV. I would definitely go back there again for my RV needs when I am in the neighborhood.

Dominic took care of us, and they fixed the toilet and completed a 21-point inspection on the travel trailer. We didn't have to pay, as it was covered under their warranty. The "technicians" have no idea what they're really doing and the management don't care to assist you, unless it's scamming you out of money. We bought a used camper from them and less than 3 months later it needed a new roof membrane, even though they had installed a new one before we purchased it. Short story is, they did not properly secure the roof membrane to the frontcap of the camper. Since it was an installation error, I assumed that they would stand behind their work--I assumed wrong. Repairs came out of my pocket, but at least I spent that money elsewhere. This place is a brick-and-mortar scam shop!

Multiple times I mentioned the deal was great IF he was selling me an Imagine with a tankless. Another dealership was even questioning how Camper RV was making money at that advertised price. On the walkthrough, it was made known the trailer I bought was NOT tankless. These goons brought over their 6'5 "manager" to tell me "you got a great deal. You should have read the brochure to know that doesn't have a tankless" 100% discounting the salesman's promise. They did drop install fee for camera and vents. After this attempted shake down by their version of Sloth from the goonies. Be warned. I should have trusted Yelp and other reviews vs believe I was getting a great deal. These folks do not appreciate customers. If that person was not the "heavy" sent to scare/intimidate me, and he is just only person that was available - - then they need to understand the optics and have Lurch take classes in customer service, voice inflection, and manners. And have been there for years now ,I have noticed that they do have a variety of campers from and 1-2 person pull behind to medium to large& Fifth wheel units & drivable Rv's ! I haven't really had any experience anything with them , but I have been repairing bodywork on Rv's and motorhome for years & long enough to tell you if they been in business since I been repairing them from 1996 , they were opened before I started, so they must' be doing something right! Heather McDonald (with the assistance of Nick), was great! Heather was patient, very personable, and definitely the one to go to for your RV needs. She was there every step of the way and helped as much as she could when things started to go wrong. The issues began after delivery of our RV. We were told during the walk through that everything was checked (plumbing, electrical, slides, etc). They were not. We were told our RV was being cleaned prior to delivery. It was not. The RV arrived dirty (interior) and we have have had plumbing issue after plumbing issue. Instead of Jason actually coming to fixing the problems (we have a destination trailer and informed Southern RV that once it was delivered, we could not move it), he continues to "guide" and "direct" US to fix the problems. All of which would have been avoided if our RV was truly checked prior to us receiving it. We are extremely frustrated with how everything has been handled with regards to honest business practices, customer service, and follow through.

In fact their listing specifically stated "no leaks or soft spots ". I assumed, maybe they didn't know? !! 2 weeks passes and I still don't have my title To register. I called April the owner and I was given the run around that it hadn't come in yet. I called back another day it was another story and so on. Today makes 30 days and I still don't have a title which is a violation for a dealer. BEWARE! When I asked April on the phone about the uncovered damage and mislabeling she stammered & said "oh , oh it was soft!? I'm !?um, we never noticed that!". But I can clearly see they did work on rv front cap between two different posted pics... so I know they saw it Their definition of excellent is extremely loose & then you never get a title!
