This owner is one of the most caring people I know. He saved me on the side of the highway on June 11, 2021. I was driving down from Atlanta heading to Orlando by myself (60 yr female). I was towing a 19 ft camper and near his exit, my wheel came off of my camper. The lug bolts were shaved off. He fortunately answered the Good Sam request for a tow. (And, it was closing time on Friday!!!) They were able to flat bed tow it to his shop and repaired it in a timely manner and I was on my way to Orlando by Monday afternoon. He even asked for me to let him know that I arrived safely to my destination. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Our first mistake was buying a camper here 3 years ago. They overcharge so much it feels like…read morerobbery. Seriously - all items in their store are 50% less on Amazon, Walmart, other dealerships, etc. for no apparent reason. But hey, you live and learn. Our second mistake was not finding anyone else who can fix the camper after a tire blew out in a construction zone and ruined the underside of the camper. We figured if CW had a shop and this was their specialty, then we could take it there. They also majorly overcharge for service but we didn't know anywhere else and our insurance adjuster didn't recommend anyone else so Camping World got the job on insurance's dime. We dropped off the camper in July. I called a month later to see how it was going. They had not ordered the parts. So I spoke with several people on the phone and we got the parts ordered (Sean Shackleton was the one to confirm the parts would be ordered). And then I backed off for another month, just to call again and find out the parts were still not ordered! So then I started calling more often. I've been through 2 or 3 handlers at CW for this claim. Every time I call nobody is available, consistently, even if I ask for four to five different people. (And after three months of this I kindly pointed out that it's statistically impossible for everyone to not be available every. single. time. I. call. and magically someone was available ). They voided the check sent to them by insurance which creates more paperwork for me and another month on their timeline to get paid. When I call they admit the dropped the ball on this one, but the ball can't just stay dropped. I had to have my insurance adjusters secretary call CW with me and explain the documentation needed from them to receive direct payment from insurance again... They didn't sound too sure they understood what a W9 is. Supposedly my parts come in within a few days (It's October...) and I am torn between going and getting the camper and taking it elsewhere or leaving it to be fixed. It's ridiculous. UPDATE 10/9/26: the parts that took 2 months to be ordered in the first place have NOT arrived on their scheduled day. Update 10/13/26: I have not been given documentation, but I have been told some of our parts have come in. However, the biggest parts in told they are unable to get a tracking number for or confirm a shipment arrival date after the delay. (So in wondering how you knew the original arrival date?) Joette Kolb has reassured me she understands my frustration but yet she can't have the parts people contact the manufacturer to find out who the third party is that is shipping the parts and to get a tracking number. Regardless, I've now posted all over social media, contacted the general manager, and contacted the corporate customer care team. This is getting old and is utterly ridiculous. Photos attached to show original damage. Update 10/15/26: I still have no tracking number and was intending to give Sean Shackleton until the end of day before escalating this further. He was not even in the building when I called this morning. So I just decided I was getting my camper and taking it somewhere else. This experience has led to tons of research and I don't really want their techs and mechanics working on my camper anyways. They've already ordered the parts so they stand to loose money if I leave. When I announced I'd be there to pick it up Joette Kolb instantly changed from apologetic to threatening to call my insurance (they've been the laughing stalk of my insurance adjuster's office since they voided the first insurance check for no reason), to telling me I would owe them for the parts since they were custom ordered. I asked for my service agreement and read the fine print. It has been so long it really boiled down to the interpretation of the word "reasonable" and I was feeling like any court would determine the situation is super unreasonable (thank you online commenters to my social media post for the courage). So Joette hung up and then a lady named Marie called me; she decided to offer to cover my deductible (but it was a manipulative tactic to try and keep my business to not lose more on parts). I recall her saying she's just trying to help solve my problem. I told her she was solving HER problem, but not mine; my problem was I like my insurance company and don't want to waste their money on such a sh!*y business (I used kinder words). She got off the phone and called me back to say I could pick up my camper. We agreed it would be out front when I arrived in a couple of hours. Of course it wasn't. Also we winterized the unit before we took it for repairs and there was liquid in the pipe from the toilet to the black tank sooooo I'm just gonna leave that little tidbit there bc I don't know ‍
