Excellent customer service and very reasonable prices. The showroom was also very nicely done. I…read morebelieve these are some of the reasons why Kim's Piano has such high praises and reviews. I initially called in to ask some questions, and Kristie was able to assist right away. Then she was also super responsive on text messages as well! Great job Kristie! Then when I was deciding between two different models, both Kristie and Ben solved that as well! Ben is very knowledgeable and does a great job in relating his experiences to the products. I ultimately went with the Kawai K-15 because it made sense for my budget and experience. And they helped me understand the pros and cons of choices as well. Overall, I definitely recommend Kim's Piano to anyone who is serious about getting a piano for their home.

I saw an advertisement for Kawai pianos on my social media feed and was curious about what pianos…read morethey had. I was looking for a used upright piano that would fit in my apartment. I'm a music teacher and at home I have been playing an 88-key digital piano at home for a few years. Piano is my first instrument and never bought a piano because I play off of a Steinway Grand Piano and a Roland nx700 stage piano. Well, after several years of not enjoying practicing at home, I now can thanks to Steve Rivera's recommendations! I knew what I wanted, he worked with finding me the piano I've wanted...a white upright (Kawai or Yamaha). I went with the Kawai K15 because it's new and I couldn't refuse a brand new piano! Anyhow after multiple emails, I was able to purchase one without walking into the store. Steve sent me videos of different models playing the same short piano piece and it was very helpful! Well, fast forward to today and a week later I am sitting here in my living room practicing! Thank you so much Steve and Kim's Piano!!!

I am truly unhappy and very disappointed to say the least! I trusted David Hong with repairing my…read morepiano and this is the end result. I should have went with my gut feeling when he did not show me any proof of previous work on repairs that he's done. There are tons of black spray paint specs all over my keys. The repair was NOT sanded smoothly prior to paint as you can see in my photos. The top part is still a dent but painted over. This is not results of a professional. I will have to find someone else to clean up his mess! I would not recommend him to anyone and surprised at the review he has.

In addition to a poor repair, the inspection process was not thorough. We paid David $150 to inspect this preowned piano prior to purchase, as I have no knowledge on piano inspections. To my dismay, he didn't even catch this. Had he told us this, we could have used this information to negotiate the price of the piano down. Knowledge is power. He also charged a $115 tuning fee, tested the piano and didn't notice that the keys felt off and that the cords were all broken. For someone with so much experience and had two opportunities to inspect this piano, David didn't even tell us about the broken cords. The technician we hired mentioned this the first time he looked at the piano. He also noticed the pitch was off. This technician also pointed out that the serial number didn't look authentic to the issue date. The piano was manufactured at an older date than what was presented. The Yamaha logo in the front is a decal. None of this was mentioned during the $150 inspection. For a piano expert, we are surprised none of this was communicated. Complete fail on attention to detail.
