We went here this morning for the first time. They had a good selection of Donuts. The staff wad extremely friendly with everyone and they must have many regulars because she seemed to know people's names. The donuts... well they were very good. They had a good taste and are presented very well. We also got a strawberry donut. That one was a little sweet for me, maybe because I was expecting whipcream and it was more like cake frosting. Donuts on steroids! Came here on a Friday morning around 7:30 am, I was the only person at first but then a line started to form behind me. I was curious to go here because of the great reviews. I must say, this place does live up to the other 5 star reviews and I hope it remains that way. I got a dozen custom for my awesome coworkers and just got one of the cool, unique looking donuts (doubled on the red velvet since I got one for myself.) These custom looking donuts look like they're on steroids since it seems bigger than regular donuts (maybe it's the toppings which adds height?) The actual donut was so soft and fluffy, I kind of just wanted that with no icing! But the donut itself tasted fresh and the icing part (with dried up red velvet cake bits) was pretty sweet but that's donuts for ya! :] The owner was refreshingly friendly and welcoming. He helped me out a lot with my selection & pricing. My custom dozen selection came out to $13 w/ a .50 cent charge for card use. So cash would be ideal here. If you have been to Steve's I would recommend checking it out. I have yet to get a donut that isn't delicious. Their donut holes are so soft and fluffy and my kids love the apple fritters. Split the apple fritter since they are the size of a dinner plate. read more

They have very fresh donuts and the shop is really clean. I got the Thai Tea and a ham and cheese croissant with jalapeño. The croissant was massive and delicious. I didn't care for the Thai tea, it was a bit on the sweeter side for me. I also ordered a half dozen of donuts and the panda specialty donut for my toddler. Their prices are fair and their service is great. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back. It's a great alternative to Krispy Kreme or Winchell's. I came here the other day and had a decent experience. The area around the donut shop is currently under construction so it was a bit difficult to find. When we walked in, we were greeted by the man working there. He didn't seem too happy to be there, but was nice and answered all of our questions. They have a great selection of donuts of all different varieties. We opted for a tiger tail, strawberry cinnamon roll, lemon filled donut, glazed donut, Halloween sprinkled chocolate donut, and a chocolate glazed whipped cream and strawberry filled donut. The prices were reasonable. The donuts were pretty good, but overly sweet for me. I love love sweet things, but these were truly overly sweet. However, I love the creativity when it comes to the types of donuts they have and they also have really cute designs on their donuts. The space was clean and kept up, however, the bathroom was not very clean and the soap dispenser did not work/had old black chunky and goopy soap in it. That freaked me out a little bit. All in all, a little hard to find while under construction, great variety of tasty donuts but overly sweet for me, great prices, and clean front but questionable bathroom. It could just be that things are complicated during this construction. I will try them again when the area isn't under construction anymore. read more

For takeout on Monday. We had to commute early from Orange County for the graduate to check in before the commencement ceremony at the university. We knew that Steve's Donuts would be open for us to grab a couple of ham and cheese croissants and some donuts. Even though our arrival time at Steve's Donuts would not leave us much time to get to the campus, the graduate insisted that we try to get some food. When I entered, Steve was busy assisting a customer with a huge order of 5 boxes of donuts. Linda greeted me, asked how I was doing, and noticed that I was dressed up more than usual so she complimented me. She helped me get my items. Of course, I had to get the strawberry cronut. I also remembered to get a glazed, chocolate glazed, and apple fritter. We threw a couple of filled donuts into the mix: lemon jelly and chocolate custard. Linda let me know that I could get another regular donut for half a dozen. I just chose the Oreo topped chocolate glazed one in front of me because the 2 girls like Oreo cookies. That was not a regular donut, but I was fine with that. Linda threw in some donut holes to fill the box. It was my husband's first time having a ham and cheese croissant from the shop. He was suitably impressed with the size and it held him until we could pick up a late lunch after the ceremony. I had half my strawberry cronut with a thermos of lavender Earl Grey tea that I had brought from home. The older daughter had 2 donut holes and some of the apple fritter. I walked in about an hour before they were set to close so I really was not expecting to see much variety or freshness. Well I was wrong, they had so many tasty looking donuts to choose from that I had a hard time just choosing a dozen. I tried the blueberry topped Donut first which was amazing and very full of the filling. I also had the Hello Kitty Donut, and what both reflect is a very soft and chewy Donut texture. This is a hidden gem. I work in Orange County and one of our interns brought our group a few boxes of these donuts. Not a huge donut fan as most donuts are either too greasy. Taste cheaply made. This place looks like your ordinary donut shop, & it is, BUT, their donuts are sooo cute! Bear claws, donut holes, long johns.... your regular donuts can be purchased here. Then there's donuts with marshmallows, rainbow candy, m&ms, hello kitty donuts, Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts. Like whaaaat? So cool! Everything's reasonably priced as well.
