These glasses are super cool.
William D.

I was never offered a case for my nice new eye glasses. I shouldn't have to ask for an eye glasses case. Especially since it has your advertising on it. That's free advertising.

Wtf are these numbers??? That's not normal! Notice the big scratch? Yeah brand new and just put them on. I didn't scratch them!
Sandra G.

So far up to this point my experience was great. But I picked up my glasses today and I immediately could not see through them. I put them in the case and I left with my old glasses on. My old sunglasses. So it's 10 o'clock at night and I am trying on my reading glasses so I can shop online. There's a huge scratch already that I did not do. And there is numbers on the lenses I have no idea what this is about I have never had a para glasses with numbers on them that are visible in the lens. So I am just going to update this later if they make it right for me. But besides the numbers and the scratch I can't see out of them anyways I don't honestly think that they are my correct lenses. :(

I had Dr. Pham for my most recent visit and I couldn't recommend her more. She is a true expert in her field with excellent bedside manor. Dr. Pham spent the time to get to know my eye health history and explore any concerns I had. She provided an excellent and thorough eye exam experience. The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. Alexia, who did the begin portion of my eye exam, was attentive and nice to visit with. Agnis helped me explore their selection of glasses, and while I didn't end up buying a pair she was very kind. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience. I'm very excited for my new prescription.

Agnes is very nice and helpful... she was able to help myself and my husband with our selection process. After finding the glasses we both liked CeCe also very nice and helpful came over to assist us and everything went smoothly. We were able to both get the glasses we liked and Agnes help my husband with his old pair we purchased from them years ago. Great customer service as usual and we highly recommend them for your eye glass care. We'll upload pictures of our new glasses in a few weeks. Thanks ladies for everything.

The waiting area is roomy and comfortable with TV. . After a short wait , Denise my technician brought me back and we went through a battery of many tests. She was awesome, friendly and professional. The office is very large, clean and organized, Dr. Vance and her assistant were a super team, very experienced and organized we did many examinations and tests there was no rush. All my questions were answered throughly, it was great professional experience. I didn't have time this visit to pick out frames from their large selection, but I will return soon. The billing department, was just as professional and friendly as all the other staff. Southwest eye care is a must stop for all your vision needs.

Unfortunately, my experience with the lens/optical department has been the complete opposite. The optical department's customer service and communication are extremely poor. Information given at the time of ordering glasses often changes later, and I've been told one thing in person only to be told something completely different afterward. It feels very disorganized, and there seems to be little to no communication between the optical staff, reception, and doctors. As a patient, that makes the process frustrating and confusing. The optical and lense department are dishonest. The frames that are completely covered by insurance are not clearly displayed and are hidden from view, while the more expensive frames are front and center. This makes it difficult to know what options are actually covered and creates pressure to choose higher-priced frames that insurance does not fully cover. As a result, patients often end up paying $100-$300 out of pocket for glasses that were assumed to be covered. Greater transparency and clearer communication about covered options would make a big difference for patients. It's disappointing because the doctors themselves are wonderful. I would happily continue seeing them, but I truly wish I could take my prescription elsewhere for glasses. I hope the optical department improves its transparency, communication, and customer service, because it does not currently reflect the quality of the medical care provided by the doctors.

Belle, particularly is always so helpful and always has a smile on her face. Additionally, I love Dr. Stan because he's been a great optometrist and takes the time to really explain any issues or treatment plans that are best for the patient. The office is clean and immediately upon entry, you can see the variety of frames they have to offer. They have a great selection of Ray-bans available to choose from as well as Maui Jim, ANSI, and many other brands. The office also carries some brands for younger patients that may need vision correction. BEC's appt scheduling system is fully online and they also offer text reminders that aren't pesky or redundant like most other automated text management systems. If you're a new patient, you can also complete the patient forms online prior to your first appt to allow for a smooth pre authorization and transition.

The ones I had been living with for years caused me discomfort and good vision wasn't a daily occurrence. The problem was mainly due to my high astigmatism. My previous OD couldn't help me and didn't really seem to try. Dr. Miller tried several different lenses with me until we found a good fit. Contacts had never felt so comfortable and my eyes weren't nearly as irritated as they had been before. Because they fit better I could also see much better. He made it clear to me that contacts weren't the best option for me due to my high astigmatism but that didn't stop him from doing everything he could to make it work. We also discussed other options like LASIK and other refractive surgery. I was always very interested in this and he answered all my questions, gave me every option available and left me with pricing. At the time the only option for me was a contact lens implant. The cost of this was very high and not an option I felt comfortable with. A few years later he mentioned the technology has improved since our last discussion and I was now a candidate for PRK (a type of refractive eye surgery). He gave me the pricing, answered my long list of questions, gave me realistic expectations and three weeks later I had the surgery. I couldn't be happier now! I see better than I ever have. Dr. Miller is a great OD. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and spends all the time needed with you to get the best results. In the four years I've been his patient I have went from having almost blind and miserable feeling eyes to seeing and feeling better than I ever have before.

We went to another optometrist and wasn't told we had eye mites at all at our exam! WTH?!? A year goes by and I forget about that incident and decide to give them another try but maybe see a different Dr. so I try to schedule an appointment online and was asked if I consent to a $40 "Eye Wellness" exam that is NOT covered by insurance. So here is my thought, if the insurance company doesn't feel this is a necessary procedure then why do I have to have it? So I said no. It then says they can't proceed with making my appointment and for me to call them. I call and basically if I don't agree to pay for the exam, they won't see me. I said that I think it's sad they would be willing to lose a customer over an optional procedure! They said, sorry, but we won't see you without it. I guess I'm going to see a new optometrist because Li & Liao are only in it for the $$ and not to help their patients!

When it came time to check out, the total was just shy of $1200, but insurance brought it down to $600. The part that really irritates me is the fact that they screwed up my prescription. You'd think spending that much money on glasses, the least they could do was get your prescription correct. Both of my eyes had issues---one more major than the other. The eye with minor damage was given a lens that over-corrected it, giving me frequent headaches and eye strain. I purchased RayBan glasses, which come with their logo engraved on the lenses. When I received the glasses, the RayBan logo was not there, meaning that I was given something cheaper than what I purchased. Avoid this optometry. The ones in Target are 100x better.
