The selections are smaller than Whole Foods but lots of items are less expensive. Their offerings of teas, healthy snacks and sourdough bread are very impressive, much more than Whole Foods. Good customer service, they called in more cashiers when needed. I will definitely shop here on a regular basis.

This store is small but it is densely packed with a lot of organic options. Very clean and organized. They have a lot of unique products that can't be found in other grocery stores. The layout of the store is stratigically like a maze that would take you through the entire store leading to the cashier. The produce section is small. They tend to have a lot of clean organic food, which I love. I truly believe in their organic philosophy on their website. There are way too many nasty chemicals in foods these days. It is nice that Mom's organics exist. My only complaint is the price. I'm my opinion, they are overpriced. Look at the price of the coconut water in my picture. Compare it to Costco or Amazon and you can see the difference, even at this store's "sales" price. Overall, this is a much needed store but if it remains expensive, I don't think it will replace Wegmans nor whole food. Wegmans still give better value for $ on their organic foods.

I never thought I'd be updating this review for a second time. But can someone tell me WHY....in…read morethe H E double hockey sticks does Whole Foods find it necessary to glue their eggs into their egg cartons?! No, seriously....why are they doing this?! Now, before I'm accused of being totally draconian here with my 1 star reduction, let me emphasize that this isn't a one time thing. Nearly every single time I get a carton of eggs from Whole Foods, it is almost guaranteed at least one or two eggs will be inexplicably glued to the carton. This is a problem for SO many reasons. Though, for the sake of brevity, I'm gonna list two of them. 1.) It's damn near impossible to extract the egg out of its pocket without inevitably destroying the shell, thereby obliterating any chances of enjoying a tasty breakfast. 2.) Even IF you somehow manage to liberate said egg from its inherent captivity without destroying it, you'll ostensibly have to deal with the remnants of egg carton pieces that remain glued to the outer shell. My pro life tip for the second reason is to hard boil the egg so that you may avoid any chances of carton bits mixing in with an otherwise raw egg yolk once you crack it. And, so far as I know, no - you can't just wash it off. Because it's glued. Again, WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS?! I'm not sure if it's only this location that has this problem or if ALL Whole Foods stores are shipping their eggs with a few of them totally immobilized inside their respective pockets. It's like they were totally petrified of the idea that MAYBE the eggs would somehow escape the carton and break. Well, NUTS to that, since I usually end up breaking them regardless when trying carefully to extract them out of their cemented position. So, yeah....that, combined with the fact Whole Foods' hot bar has also somehow gotten worse with time instead of better, I find myself regressing my rating back to where I originally had them. It's still a wicked good place to get a few select items here and there. But these two REALLY annoying anomalies compel me to give Whole Foods on Amherst 4 immovable eggs out of 5.

All sandwiches were perfectly pressed on a variety of breads, including longstanding local favorite Tripoli Bakery Italian bread. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful, with an impressive variety of offerings, especially given this is a tiny place. Clean, small location ideal for takeout or quick grabs of drinks and snacks if you are visiting downtown for business or perhaps a happy historic tour from the local Heritage State Park. This would be perfect picnic food only a block from the Common and the Robert Frost fountain. Specifically, we ordered a Turkey Bacon Avocado on pressed white, a Balsamic Chix wrap, a Grilled Portobello Goat Cheese Sundried Tomato on pressed white, and a delightful Cubano on Tripoli bread. Plus a Mediterranean salad. Every single item was delicious and correct -- requirements that cannot be taken for granted these days! Sandwiches were well-wrapped and labeled. Their spirit is also very evident in their presentation, social media presence, and desire to wow the customer. They did everything right, and definitely deserve your business. If you don't order delivery, bring a buddy who can hop out and pick up your online preorder while you wait, as street parking is a bit challenging at lunch rush. This is an excellent addition to downtown, and a very reasonably priced, healthier alternative to average takeout places offering the same-old. Highly recommend.

Despite having been back in the granite state for over 3 years now, I hadn't exactly gotten around…read moreto visiting an actual "farm-to-fork" local grocery store until now. Primarily due to the fact that I normally pick up fresh eggs from my bestie in Derry, I ended up searching for a contingency plan in the event she was already sold out on her end. Such was the case today. First, a caveat: if you're happening by this store southbound, the parking lot entrance will be the second turn on the right just past the store itself. It can be a little confusing due to the second logo sign on the side of the warehouse building which, to newcomers, may appear to be an entrance point. I have no idea if and what they keep back there (probably just extended storage), but from what I could ascertain, the main store is the smaller building in the center of it all. Naturally, the interior is (like I said) small and pretty unassuming, if I'm being entirely accurate. What you see is what you get and this is a good thing. Because everything looked pretty fresh and tasty to me. I possess neither the space nor memory to recall every last item they have here. But in addition to extra large fresh eggs, they also feature baked goods (to include my all time favorite - FUDGE!!) and real maple syrup. That's right! None of that synthetic, overly sugary crap for us true New Englanders. This, and other grocery stores like it, are the places we go when we want true, authentic maple syrup. So anyways, I was here for the eggs. Now, I may be writing this review prematurely since I haven't exactly tasted the eggs yet. But from what I can tell, this place is legit. They even have Apple and Google pay, which actually surprised me. The Yelp page didn't list this as a viable option at the time of writing this review. I will certainly be submitting an update recommendation to the powers that be. The staff were quite friendly and approachable. Didn't really stay long to chat or anything though. Those were just my first impressions. The location is tucked away, but easy to get to. It also appears they have quite the local following. So, I definitely will return. At some point, I'd really like to get my hands on that peanut butter fudge and genuine maple syrup. Can't really recommend this place any harder for picking up fresh produce and treats. Sunnycrest Farms is worthy of 5 extra large farm fresh eggs served any style out of 5.
