Steve did an amazing job and was extremely well in giving us update and communication. We asked Steve to install a Tesla charger, some outlets outside in our deck area and a ceiling fan. He worked fast and got us ready to enjoy our outdoor space! From the time I posted the request on Yelp to him being in my house was about 10 minutes! Can't get much faster service than that. He quickly identified my electrical problem as being a faulty circuit breaker. He fixed the problem with supplies he had with him and charged me a fair price. Steve responded almost immediately to my request for a quote and was very straightforward about his pricing and process. He was able to squeeze me in the next day after another job and kept me fully looped in via phone as we could coordinated our busy schedules. Steve was not only knowledgeable, he explained to me along the way just what he was doing and why, which I loved because I like learning and enjoy DIY home improvement. He finished on the dot of the hour that he had quoted me for the job. Pricing was fair, straightforward, and accurate (no curve balls/upsells here!) I also liked that he explained/set reasonable expectations for potential future issues. It's late on a Friday evening and I sent a message to Steve about a breaker that blew and was acting up. He responded quickly and helped diagnose the issue. The two A/C units for our home kept tripping the breaker in our main panel, but not the sub panel that directly feeds the units. Steve promptly responded with a phone call requesting more details of the problems and even gave a few DIY suggestions that might resolve the issue and save me some money. Ultimately, his suggestions did resolve the problem, so he proceed to come take a look at the problem the same day. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad breaker in the main panel that needed to replaced and he was able to replace it the same day! Very little A/C downtime considering the high temperatures this summer! Would definitely recommend his services if you are looking a good, honest electrician! read more

Our situation was a bit unique: we needed the old panel removed and then a day or two to replace siding, insulation, and address any issues we found inside the walls before the new panel could be installed. Mario was incredibly accommodating with our unusual schedule. He showed up early, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job--all at a very reasonable price. When he returned to complete the installation, we asked if he could take care of a few additional items. He didn't hesitate, even using some of his own materials to help us out. He also shared valuable advice and insights that were extremely helpful for our project. Although he honored his original quote without any increase, we felt it was only right to pay him a little extra as a professional courtesy. We'll absolutely work with him again. In our experience, it's rare to find an electrician who is both highly skilled and genuinely fair.

A good, honest electrician can be the difference between a fire sale and a fire hazard when push comes to shove. Jerry Villarreal, Master Electrician, and his team of qualified and knowledgeable electricians are licensed, bonded, and insured. You have nothing to worry about except "where do you want this new switch?" or "how bright can we make this room?" I recently remodeled my house and needed some old lighting removed and new, updated lighting added. Jerry came in, gave me his opinion on light placement, helped me pick out the right switches and lights, and within a few hours my kitchen went from the 1970's to the 21st century with dimmable recessed LED lights, code-compliant GFCI plugs, and some fresh new wiring and a new breaker so that my breaker panel is in better shape. Their pricing is competitive - I shopped 4 or 5 different electricians before I decided to go with Amped Electric. They came out, gave a free estimate, and at the end of the job we came in UNDER budget! He had overestimated the time it would take and the cost of the parts, so at the end of the job I was very pleasantly surprised. Since then, I've had Jerry come out and help plan my landscape lighting, add a 110/120V outlet for a stove, and turned old wires into a useful 220V outlet in the garage. The guys are creative and know their stuff, I highly recommend this company to all my clients, friends, and family.

He inspected the wiring to the disposal and removed it. Showed me the issue and said the charge was 241.00 which did not include a replacement. Do I pay that and then go buy a disposal and hire someone else to install it or just have them complete the job. I had a 1/3 HP and he did not have it on the truck. Had to go get one. He brought back a 1/4 HP and told me the bigger one would cost approximately 300 more. It came out to over 600.00 when it was all said and done. I use to have a home appliance warranty policy for years and there was an issue every time I used them which was seldom so I cancelled them. Goes to say I don't have a lot of experience hiring for these issues but obviously they have figured out how to make money by limiting your options. All I can say is beware of these companies and the way they handle their service charges. I will not recommend this company to anyone unless they have extra money to throw away.

10 STAR REVIEW I had a smoke detector that started beeping on a Sunday AM and tried fixing it myself without success. Monday morning after not too much sleep, started calling electrical companies that serviced the Boerne area and left messages (2). My third call was a charm to Steve Freeman Electric, Steve answered himself and informed he had availability. I cannot overstate how impressed I was with Mr. Freeman, just a great person that provides great service at a reasonable price. We sat down and discussed cost of replacing just the one or replacing all. I decided to replace all since we just moved into our house 4 months ago. If you want it done right call Steve. I do not know if every electrician would help keep a Christmas gift a surprise, but Steve did. Got the work done. I read some reviews on Steve before I gave him the work. But I hired Steve because of how he handled the one bad review he got. Straight up.
