I visit this store regularly, so I've gotten familiar with the customer service in different sections. In the produce section, the staff are friendly and helpful. If you show them a picture, they'll help you find exactly the vegetables you're looking for. In the meat and seafood section, the staff's English isn't very strong, but they understand what you want if you take your time communicating. One thing to watch out for is pricing--sometimes the posted price is incorrect, so it's best to double-check. As for the cashier section, I've noticed that the best service usually comes from the younger cashiers who work at night, or the morning cashiers at counters number 2 or 5. They are friendly, fast, and well-trained. Some of them speak English fluently and are always willing to help. I especially appreciate the night-shift cashiers. They're relaxed and chill at work--sometimes they step away to chat with coworkers, but they always come back quickly if someone is waiting. There's one cashier in particular--the guy with glasses--who I always choose. He's friendly, jokes around in fluent English, and checks out customers very quickly. Overall, the cashier section is the GOAT and really makes my shopping experience much better

I love the convenience of the AMC for movies, Gloria's, Wildwood and other food establishments, department stores for any occasion, and some small coffee shops. What I'd love to see more of, though, is a bit more kid-friendly options for those with little ones. We do enjoy the small green lawn near the fountain! But maybe some restaurants that have a centralized courtyard where kids can roam free. There's also some room for improvement to add less chainy spots and more local mom and pops to support.

I'm from nowhere anywhere near here, but my friend is. I told him there were a few last minute things I needed for a wedding I was to attend a couple of days away. There was no better place than this for whatever it was I was trying to find. Made a stop at Dillards: found stuff there. And I should have been done already, but also went to Macy's and found even more stuff there. The choices seemed endless, but with a tight schedule, I was really limited to where I can go and what to do. But at least I found what I needed. One can kill time just by being here. It could take a whole day and some to get to see everything. Kinda jealous we don't have something like this closer to home! Good to know the convenience is here should I find the need once more.

It appears they have quite a selection of some types of hats and others are dependent on where they have overstock or irregulars. One of the highlights is their hat shapers that can help you clean up and/or reshape a hat to your liking. They are quite knowledgeable and very engaging when you work for them. Their fee is rather reasonable if it isn't a hat bought from their store.

A Texas Treasure Worth the Trip…read more If you're serious about western hats, the Stetson/Resistol Hat Outlet is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you're passing through or making a pilgrimage, this place delivers on value, selection, and old-school craftsmanship you don't see often anymore. The selection here is huge. Literally stacked floor to ceiling. It's not laid out like a perfect boutique, but more like a working shop overflowing with options. You may have to search a bit and dig through to find your size because things do get a little jumbled and occasionally a size finds its way into the wrong spot, but honestly, that's part of the charm. You walk in and immediately feel like you're in the real deal: a workshop, not a gimmick. The pricing alone makes this a must-stop. Very fair, extremely competitive, and in many cases significantly better than what you'll find online or in western stores. Not to mention, you're getting hats straight from the source. What really set the experience apart, though, was the service. My wife and I were taken care of by Alfredo, and he was phenomenal. There was a slight language barrier between him and me, but they handled it gracefully, never rushed, always attentive, and they made sure communication was smooth by assisting with translation as needed. You could tell he took pride in what he does and wanted to get it right. The shaping, fit, and attention to detail here were outstanding. You're not just buying a hat; you're getting craftsmanship done right in front of you. Watching them steam, shape, and customize is its own experience. Hours are good, staff hustles, and the vibe is classic Texas hospitality. In short: huge selection, great prices, real people doing real craftsmanship. Worth the trip, worth the time, and worth coming back. Highly recommended.

"This gift to the local community will be interactive and encourage guests to capture photos, learn about the important work of Community Partners of Dallas, inspire charitable giving and make precious memories this Fall." The pumpkin patch featured multiple photo ops including the harvest house, candy corn tree, cornucopia, land of mums, gnome village, prince owl, fairytale library, harvest cart and the wishing well. There were lots of people milling about, waiting for their turn to take photos. However, it wasn't super crowded and there was still enough room to breathe and enjoy the scenery. This was a great family-friendly activity and fun way to make memories. There was no admission fee, making this a great alternative to the Dallas Arboretum. The mall itself was huge and offers and a variety of retail shops, restaurants and entertainment options. I uploaded more than 20 photos, so I hope they all post with this review.

There are additionally some worthwhile dining, music, and artistic opportunities to enjoy. I personally love to play "guess how much this costs?", from an $8000 rug at "Design Within Reach" (though certainly not within budget) to $40,000-$100,000+ pens at Mount Blanc. (Nothing in that store at all has a price tag on it, and you know things are wild when you have to inquire!) This game will keep you amused and flabbergasted throughout your mall exploration. There are additional joys to uncover like live musicians, special events throughout the year (like a gingerbread village at Christmas time), and permanent + rotating artwork. Today I saw a real piece by Jean Dubuffet (on loan from Nasher Sculpture center), a mixed media unicorn, and this super neat rainbow light piece I snapped some pictures of (that actually had a deeper and heavier meaning; wish I documented the artist's name). The mall is perfect for people watching, getting a walk in on excruciatingly hot summer days or when it's raining, and just generally finding random fancy shops to explore. I recommend a visit as a fun date idea, for reasons above, not for the shopping experience. For $5 dollars, I got some actually incredible crackers from Eately's grocery and a couple hours of great delight and enjoyment exploring with lovely company. Northpark Mall really is like a live and interactive museum of sorts showcasing the lives of the upper echelon of Dallas. It is generally very crowded on weekends and an absolute chaotic nightmare to try and visit on weekends in the month of December (avoid!!!!). I give the parking situation three stars because it is always difficult to park and exit this mall. Come with curiosity to this center and enjoy the wild window shopping experience. Note some stores (eg, LaLa Land and Lego Store) had long lines to even enter the store / order. All around recommend visiting, but for very unconventional reasons more akin to why you should visit a zoo or museum than why you ought to visit Costco or Target.
