As principal, management, or advisor to a half dozen companies I have spent a lot of the last ten or fifteen years working websites....and I'm tired of doing it. Now that the focus of marketing and communication has moved to social media and mobile devices I need to spend more of my time working those vectors and have recently begun using Mila Sterling to re-interpret, re-design from scratch, and modernize the code of the existing sites so that they are easier to maintain, more artistic (than my functional but blunt efforts), and are consistently compatible with mobile devices. Obviously it is important to communicate clearly (and for me...in writing) anytime I am trying to direct an employee (freelance or not) towards the result I want to see. I require responses that do not waste my time. I found Milas responses, questions, and subsequent work to be lucid, literate, artistic, effective, and prompt. Mila accepts re-direction in a professional manner and her professionalism is evident in all aspects of her business practices. As a business owner I often use Yelp to vet the services I am considering. As is usual in my process I disregard wildcard negatives and positives...and look for the averages and tendencies. My success with Mila re-enforces this practice.. So...now that I don't have to spend my Saturday mornings tweaking web pages...maybe i can get out a bit more and find some new places to Yelp about. I typically have ended my reviews with a tagline that would not be appropriate in this case. Instead i will just say.... Hire Mila. MP read more

How fortunate I was to find and choose Mila over all the other web designers on Yelp and Craigs List !The stars were definitely aligned in my favor on that special day :-) Let's see...where should I start? In a nutshell, Mila is making my dream become a reality in a manner beyond what I envisioned! I previously had a website designer who just asked me what I wanted my site to look like and created pages with MINIMAL input / imagination/ creativity and almost no suggestions, thoughts or feedback... just a creator of web pages. With Mila you get much more than a designer. She offers her professional recommendations and personal experiences to help you make the right decisions. She knows what is current, where the trends are going ...and what's out there that you may not be aware of that you may want to incorporate on to your site. Mila is not a designer who is simply out to make a living...she becomes interested and involved in your project as if it were her own. She is passionate about her work and great at what she creates. What I also love about Mila is that if she likes an idea that you run by her, she will let you know....and she does the same if she doesn't. :-) If you prefer your idea or plan over Mila's she always nicely and professionally honors your wishes without a speech :-). She's very quick too which was a nice surprise! In closing...Mila is what I was looking for and so much more! Stop looking and just hire her, you will not be disappointed! read more

Ok first off ...the only reason she doesn't get a 5 is because I reserve that for God...lol Mila is superb. A real asset to my team without having to hire an in house guru. She saves me time and tons of money. She NEVER pads and turns around our web site changes (usually) in less than a day. She's busy but get's it done right the first time. That saves even more in redo's. Mila did not design our site, but she took a great (and expensive) design and maintains it very well! check us out www.jetstreamsound.com What a great addition to our creative team. Mila does terrific work and stays in contact, which I find tremendously helpful for keeping the creative processes flowing. She has great suggestions but is totally open to your ideas and REALLY LISTENS to you. It's so wonderful working with a designer who wants to incorporate your ideas, instead of dictating what she/he thinks you should accept. I have worked on two projects now with Mila & she will be my first choice for any future design work. She is a total pleasure to work with. read more

Mila's work (and customer service) is perfection. I was introduced to her art by a friend and was immediately intrigued by the way she took more commercial endeavors (which I was in need of) and kept them grounded in her unique, artistic voice. I was looking for a movie poster that had that extra something and after a lovely conversation with Mila, the ideas were quickly narrowed down to a few options (the little I offered in terms of ideas were brilliantly expanded upon and turned from thoughts into Mila's visions; ALL of which would have been fantastic), and before I knew it, Mila had created the single best, fully-developed movie poster possible. It surpassed my expectations and I have been getting rave reviews and compliments aplenty ever since. When the time came to pay the bill, I (along with my producers and distributor) was all smiles, as the price was very fair and an INCREDIBLE deal for the level of work, attention and quality. The experience was such a positive one that the entire team immediately wanted Mila to create our website as well. Mila proved herself once again with that experience and solidified the artist that I will be calling EVERY time I need design work. She will not only be the first call I make, she will be the only call I make. I cannot recommend Mila Sterling enough. She is a brilliant artist and an absolute pleasure to work with. read more

The first time I met Mila she was recommended to me from a friend. I presented Mila with an impossible project and an impossible deadline. She met with me the day I called, we brainstormed over coffee and she went home and got to work. Mila came through for me then and has continued to be not only a resource I rely on, but also continues to impress me with her knowledge of art, aesthetics, and composition abilities. I look forward to our next project together. read more

I wasn't the person who actually hired Mila to do the work she did for my organization (a small theater) but the next time I need a graphic or web designer, you can bet I'll be calling her first. The quality of her work is more than excellent; she has an eye for small artistic flourishes that make each piece unique and eye-catching. Her knowledge of typography and art history were huge value-adds to our process. Her turnaround on changes is usually just a few hours and rarely more than a day, and her attention to detail is second to none. Finally, she is simply a joy to work with on a professional and personal level. Not everyone on my team was a peach to deal with on the creative front, and Mila always handled requests and instruction (no matter how seemingly silly or nit picky) with grace and aplomb. It is the rare professional who excels so clearly on all axes of her chosen work, and so much more rare in the world of graphic design. Do not hesitate to hire Mila for all of your graphic design needs! read more

Working with Mila to develop a logo and website for my business was such a wonderful experience. I had a very narrow vision of what I wanted - Mila listened to my scattered ideas and created something great. I ended up getting so much more than what I was expecting. I could not be happier with my website and I'm over the moon for my logo. Thanks Mila! read more

I've started several businesses and found this company to be a valuable resource each and every time because they're creative, reasonable and smart about what will actually make a difference. Past the expertise and originality, the overall experience and customer service is the best reason to engage them. Awesome creative, always on time and without any attitude when something might change which is all very rare in my experience when working with other companies in this space. Consistent positive experience, results and impact. read more

Mila has been a pleasure to work with on two website design projects. She has a great eye and also is able to deliver a finished project fast and efficiently. She was a great communicator and was able to get "mock ups" of the site within a couple days and worked well with tweaking and adjustments through the process. She professional and also a very sweet person to talk with. I highly recommend Mila for any design needs. read more

Mila rocks! I have worked for 3 different companies in the past 10 years and she has designed a PERFECT logo for each of them! Aside from her immense artistic talent, she has an intuition that can't be taught, in digesting information and getting it on the page for you. Also fast and efficient! 5 STARS, every time! read more

Mila is the best. Very professional and accommodating. I contacted her inquiring information about getting my website built from ground up. I gave Mila my specifications for an original logo, and she came through within a few days with a design that was right on the money, and perfect for us!
