This location is twice as far from my home as the Paoli location, but I still prefer to go to Phoenixville.

Dr Lynott falsified my medical records, committed Medicare fraud, unethical behavior, refused to ever meet , talk or write to me explaining her findings. This was supported and encouraged by the owners of Village Optical. I spoke with and emailed the owner, Greg Vallino and his brother Marc Vallino a number of times regarding these issues and asked that they have her follow through with her job and explain her findings to me. Their first response was "we are 100% sure that Dr. Lenott's Documentation were accurate". if they had audio recordings of appointments they would know she's lying. The only possible way they could say that is if the wrote or helped her write the falsified records. Which are now part of my permanent Medical Record. She sent these falsified records to my primary care physician without my permission. This company has no morals, and no ethical standing . they commit Medicare fraud, lie to their patients, which for me, has delayed any possible diagnosis or treatments that could help improve my vision following cataract surgery and a lens exchange For over 6 months. Greg Vallino had Dr Lynott dismiss me as a patient the day after I found out about these document. It has been almost 6 months. I had to go to another specialist who explained all of their testing results, what my diagnosis was, and what they recommended would help improve the vision in my right eye. No individual, especially patients, deserve to be treated in such an unethical manner. There doors closed and their license revoked. ***** I am doing and will continue to do everything I can to bring justice . I would never recommend for anyone to see any of their doctors because the owners are so corrupt that would be Greg Vallino and his brother Marc Vallino. I Hope this will help other patients to seek ophthalmology care at a different practice . Such a waste of time, tried to up sell us to a $45 full retina thing. For a 6 year old it didn't seem necessary and when we tried to say no thank you it became "they don't schedule regular appointments on weekends so it's $45 or nothing." Felt slimy and sale-sly. I arrived at 8:30 for an 8:45 appointment and I left the office at 10:20 after skipping my dilation. I have a rare eye issue and skipping a yearly dilation is not safe, but I worried if I did it that I would be there for three hours instead of two. Dr. Nolan went as fast as she could and apologized, but then when I went to the front desk to pick up my prescriptions I had to wait another 15 minutes on top of the over 1.5 hours I had already spent in that building. I was going to be late for a meeting for work, so I went in the back and begged them to just hand me my scripts and send me a bill and they debated with me that I still needed to wait until the doctor came out and handed me the paperwork herself. The front desk is exceedingly rude, and for the record, I had an incomplete yearly eye exam that took two hours start to finish and only because I made a scene. They should seriously be embarrassed of what they have done to this practice.

Shameful Customer Service…read more The glasses I purchased from Bonds Eye Care in January 2024 fell apart in June 2025, while I was cleaning them. Unfortunately, the glasses only had a 1-year warranty. I contacted Bonds immediately and sent photos of the broken glasses to see whether they could be fixed. I was told the glasses could not be fixed, so I called to make an appointment to discuss replacement glasses. When I spoke with Jeff, he informed me that, beyond the loyalty discount given to existing customers for new glasses, the company would not provide any support. Having spent over $500 on these glasses, I was hoping Bonds would stand by their products and support their customers who have purchased defective glasses. This kind of poor service is what leads people back to the big box stores instead of supporting small businesses. Shameful.

I did my exam and was given two weeks to try a new kind of contact lens, which did much better job to keep moisture. I went back and asked for some adjustment on my prescription and then I was given another two weeks to try that before I decided to buy. They didn't force me to order anything from them but I wanted to. I traveled a lot recently. Before my order arrived, they gave me some contact lens so I could use them for my trips. Today my order arrived but I couldn't get it as I came home late and their office will be closed this weekend. I'm flying out this weekend so I ask for help. They were so nice and were willing to drop the box on my patio. When I came home, saw my contact lens box sitting on my patio and a line of footprints in the deep snow, I decided to write this review to express my appreciation. Cons: pricey frames, rushed appointments, some staff can be snippy. Schedules change, people will be annoying, so handling this in a professional manner is expected.
