Original response: I guess the experience depends on who you are and what you're perceived ability to finance you vehicle is by the employees. I am off for parental leave and just in survival mode as one tends to be in the first weeks and was not wearing my executive suite or clothing, so unfortunately no one would not know that I run a small organization. Apparently that determines the service because when I arrived for an estimate, I was excited because this auto shop comes HIGHLY recommended. I was going to spend several thousand dollars to fix a small fender bender and then ask about detailing services. However I will not be engaging with this organization again because I was treated with such indifference that I can't imagine patroning this organization. When I arrived, and was assigned someone to draft the estimate, I approached this staff member, I believe his name was Mike, and asked questions because I had already gotten a quote. He would not look at the other estimate I had and didn't discuss anything with me. I was told that the price will be the same as the other shops and that I should just check my email for his estimate and we can talk then. I left wondering why I came if at places like Waldron Carstar, sat down with me and went point by point and discussed options and advised me as I asked questions BEFORE and AFTER I received their estimate. They treated me like a valued customer and tried to create a work plan that worked for me as a drop in. I went to 3 other shops and got same day estimates. This individuals quote came 12 hours later. Their work is probably great, but their treatment of me as a customer was disappointing given how much work I was intending to pay for. In my opinion, auto service is expensive but the customer service and care shouldn't be optional because that is essentially the only difference from shop to shop since "it's the same price" according to their rep. Fun fact, their quote was the most expensive quote. Go figure lol Update: The response was "I am sorry the estimator did not converse with you the way you would like." Again, customer service appears optional. My response was as follows when the manager referenced their reputation as well: "I actually came because of the reputation, including the fact that I was looking for detailing estimates as well but I never got to that. Great stuff... Anyway, decided to try a different dealer that had an amazing collision center...Herb Chambers of Millbury. Unfortunately I was not allowed to use their Collision Center as I wasn't in an accident, but was sent to Audette's Auto Body. Divine Intervention. Norman and team are outstanding! The phone is always answered politely and coherently...you can hear the smile on the other end. Norman is informative, and completely honest with what he expects out of the repair. I picked up my Jeep today and it's better than new. The highest recommendation I can give is that even if I were to have work which required me to pay out of pocket, I would go there in a heartbeat, and I live nowhere near!!!

I went to buy a vehicle from them, they assured me everything was in good condition and the car was ready to be sold, I drove two and half hours with my mother. When we got there the car looked okay visually and ran okay, if you weren't mechanically inclined then you'd never know you're being sold a piece of junk. They fix and clean the cars just enough to run well and look okay to secure the sale. Car had a cracked exhaust just behind the muffler that was barely hanging on, the ac didn't work and the compressor was completely broken and seized, the belt was sliding right over the seized pulley. The front headlight was out. The central exhaust gasket just after the cat was not even a proper gasket used on an exhaust system, still not sure what the gasket thing they used was but it was not meant for an exhaust. Air filter into the engine looked like it was 6-7 years old and there was an interior panel missing that covered the fuse box. And to put the cherry on top, there was an absolutely catastrophic oil leak, the entire bottom of the engine was dripping in oil. They assured me everything worked well and there were no leaks and no issues at all with the car just for me to drive and see a complete piece of junk that at best needed $5k of work. Do not go here, bring your money somewhere else

Just got my car back from Turnpike Autobody…read more Dave and co. repaired a gouge in the car by the rear door. It involved filling the gouge and spraying three panels with a three-layer paint job. The job was completed a day early and the workmanship is top class. Looks great. In addition, the car was spotless inside and received a car wash before I left. Looks like it has been detailed. I have taken vehicles (and car parts) to Turnpike Autobody before and have always been delighted with the results. .. and I am not easy to please. I would highly recommend Dave and his team for body repair, paintwork, and service.
