However, the first thing I noticed was that all the staff parked by the door... that should be for the parents we are the ones rushing to get in and out. Secondly no daily activity sheets. And this is important because my granddaughter is transitioning from baby food to regular food. One day the director told me that they would be having hot dogs and my grand baby couldn't eat that so I went to the store and got her some food to eat. On Friday when my daughter cleaned out her cubby all the food I brought was still in there. So what did my baby eat? Overall it's not very organized. There's a teacher in the infant room that does not speak English very well so she doesn't communicate at all with the parents a suggestion to the owner... clean house!

From my first contact with Alexanders Academy (with Paloma) I felt so welcome and knew that this would be a good fit for us. It's been two years and we still are super happy with this school. Our kiddo has fun, is learning tons, and each of the staff know his name. I feel like he is well cared for and safe all day. Like most kids sometimes he says "I don't wanna go" but as soon as we get there off he runs to play with his friends.

Our child returned home multiple times with bruises, and when we asked what happened, she told us the cleaning lady hit her just because she didn't want to sleep. It's devastating to think that a place meant to care for children could be so harmful. We only went there because the school recommended it, but it has proven to be nothing but a nightmare. The children are bullied, mistreated, and their mental health is being destroyed. If this happened during the day!!!! I wonder how much worse it is at night? I bet they are using a sleeping aid on them. We are now seeking professional help to heal our child's wounds--both physical and emotional. Please, protect your children from this place. Their safety and well-being are worth more than anything. Disrespectful and rude, no professionalism, it seems like they have never been educated. We should all file a complaint about this daycare and have it closed.

If you get into an argument with her she will find a way to ban your child. They give your children the same food for lunch and dinner at times. There is wayyy too many children for a single teacher in a class room. Your children are suppose to have 30 min to an hr outing outside in the playground and those kids never get taken out due to the lazyness of the staff. They sometimes have younger females watching the children at night and that's when parents need to be worried.. they keep all the children in one room.. doesn't matter if it's a 1 month old to a 13 yr old.. all in one room. Your babies don't get picked up if they're crying.. they will leave them there until they pass out from the crying. The cameras they have DONT WORK. Ask to see a video and they won't show it to you. I've picked up my child and the night girl had a guy in the back.. a WHOLE MAN!! All she did was smile.. I address my concerns with the staff and you know what they did.. they proceeded to label my child as a biter. My child never once and after I removed her from this facility has biten anyone. I get it it's cheap here but I promise your child deserves better. Please pick a better place for your children bc I promise you that the yt owners don't give a damn about your urban children. The experiences could not have been more different. The staff overall never seemed to know what was going on. Every day we would pick him up, the teachers would barely speak to us and because they were not fully filling out the communications portal, we had no idea how his day was. This brand has great curriculum and we saw our son grow tremendously at his prior location. Here, the kids just play all day while the staff stand around. It wasn't until the last week we were there that we started getting any hint that they were being taught the curriculum. There were also numerous times we picked him up and he had a full diaper, dried poop on his bottom, or he was in new clothes but we were not given the original clothes to take home to wash. We pulled our son after a month due to all of those reasons. I truly hope their staff gets trained up and leadership enforces the processes and standards these kids deserved. I will say, the morning staff (especially the woman who is in the 2 year old room) we dropped him off with were very friendly, he was comfortable with them, he always looked like he was having fun in the photos we got, and we never were concerned for his well being. Ultimately we just needed to do what was in the best interest of our son and find a better childcare facility with stronger communication and where we believe the students are growing and developing.

The week I started there was drama and chaos. The director and asst director claimed they were just toxic, bitter CO workers who would be "leaving" (fired) I didn't understand at that moment what in the world was going on. 3 months later, all those "toxic" ex employees weren't so crazy after all. They took advantage of my kindness even when I busted my butt working 12 hours. Cut hours, refused to hire an assistant for each lead teacher because we were "in ratio" which means 17 plus kids by yourself, not to mention the curriculum they make you do weekly that can never be incorporated because there's too many kids with 1 teacher. There was no structure, consistency, definitely no "learning" food is trash and cooked in the microwave. They don't care to make changes, unprofessional, calls their employees expletives, and expects you to be "professional, no gossiping" but it doesn't apply to them. They don't value good teachers/employees and this has been an on going cycle since they first opened. The kids best interest aren't put first and they talk bad about parents behind their back. Leaving was absolutely the best decision. Sincerely, another "crazy" ex employee
