He appeared to be around 2 years old and could not speak to me. After calling the police it was found that he belonged at the Blooming Daisies Learning Center and they did not appear to know he was missing or where he was found. I would strongly encourage you too double check the facility and the training of all adults that are employed at this facility for the safety of your children. The police were called so you can verify the incident with the Harris County Constables office to the extent they were called out to the facility and they were seen going in to check the facility since no one appeared to know he was missing or how he got out in the first place. That baby almost lost his life today and that is not okay when you are paying for someone to keep your child safe.

But when I came to Blooming Daisie's learning center for a walk-through visit one I was impressed about how well they kept the place clean and sanitized due to Covid. A girl was cleaning throughout the day, including the windows and doors. I went to the infant room And saw that every infant had their items that they either played with or sat in. No one has to share. All the teachers were very friendly and got to know my son well. The Director is great. She truly cares about the families that come to the learning center. I appreciate the app where I can talk to the teachers and see when he eats and how much he eats and when he is changed. But really, what sealed the deal for me is that the infant room has a curriculum that they follow. It's not just them looking at your child. It's them working with your child to get them to the next developmental step. You don't have to take my word for it. See for yourself. By taking a visit, I bet you'll be enrolling your kid too.

From retreats to Lutherhill, Snow boarding trips to Angel Fire, installing conduit with pastor Mike after school while exspanding the church and the deep life conversations we had as I went through a difficult time in my life(teenage drug and alcohol use) I completed my confirmation here as well. I still speak to some of my the fellow youths to this day ( I am 36 now). I have not been back to visit in about 12 years ( Iv'e been stationed in Coronado CA, Little Creek VA) but as my children grow I have always used Living Word as the standard I look for in terms of their youth program and excepting congregation. The youth programs were 2nd to none. Us teens could come to the church and hang out in the youth room at ANY time, and I mean ANY TIME! . We would call Pastor Mike on a friday after school or Saturday at 7pm so a group of us could just hang out and eat food and watch movies until 10 or 11 at night. We looked forward to Wednesday confirmation class, Saturday night music worship service and we all would hang out after the 11Am Sunday service. Pastor Mike operated with us (high school youth) knowing if we were at the church we werent out making the mistakes many other teenagers were making, we were safe and in a type of enviorment that can only help us. If Living Word is anything like it was when I attended then you will not find a better House of the Lord to raise a young family in.

My daughter attended this daycare for about a month and in this ONE month, she has a busted lip TWICE, got sick from virus's that were going around (understandable to an extent, but if you're cleaning and sanitizing your facility and having parents come to get their child if they're obviously sick or refusing the child to attend for the day if they're obviously sick, no one else's child should be sick for 3 weeks straight), none of her teachers could explain what happened or why, i never got a phone call about it or was given an incident report for either times and to top it all off, the first time we noticed her busted lip we were told "she came to the daycare" that way and they were just letting us know. I know what my child looks like before i leave her and i wouldve noticed something like that (IF this were this case) but it wasn't and it happened there. I no longer felt safe for my child to attend this daycare so i removed her and let the directors know. On the phone call to let the assistant director know, she sounded sort of nonchalant, didn't ask when it happened or if my daughter was okay, didn't offer to come to a solution or speak to her teachers about it. I always felt uneasy about leaving her there but i figured it was just because it was her first time going to daycare... NOPE trust your gut mamas. Whenever i picked her up she would always cry and run to me and she never looked well kept like they hadn't wiped her nose all day or changed her diaper. These things matter otherwise what am i paying you to watch my kid for ? She attended her new academy today and she loved it from the moment we walked in, forgot i was even there before i left and i can see her on the cameras having fun. I'm glad i made the switch and if you don't want to have to deal with this, you should avoid this daycare and find a place that makes you feel good about leaving your child there. My 3yo daughter…read morewas going into her 3rd week, and I get a call from the director stating some one needed to pick her up in the next hour or so because she wasn't listening. I have a few problems with this particular approach. First off, if I'm paying money for weekly childcare and the directors first option when a child isn't listening is to have the parents come pick them up! Huh?? My 3yo is no saint (whose 3yo is) and she throws tantrums and doesn't listen at times but it is not as if she was tearing the facility up. Numbers were provided to the facility so we can be called, in the event she wasn't listening. Last week I was called by her teacher and I spoke with my daughter and wasn't called again for the day. The director called today and I explained that I would tell to her but all she kept saying was your daughter won't listen to me. The director's English is not necessarily the best as I had a hard time understanding her. When I came to pick up my daughter I was expecting her to be in the front, however, she was in the back with all the kids eating. She (at the time) was not causing any distractions, so if she was that uncontrollable then how was the "licensed" staff able to get her in control. I explained my displeasure to both the assistant director and director. Families work and fortunately I was off to take care of the situation, but in normal circumstances who can mid-morning have the freedom to just leave work. This wasn't the 1st time this happened. And again this was my daughter's 3rd week. I would bet my life that this is not the 1st strong-willed 3yo this facility has dealt with and I'm sure it's not the last. I wished them the best but future potential customers be warned.

Because of the age gap in our kids, we've experienced almost every classroom and can whole heartedly say that everyone there is amazing. During the summer she is enrolled full time and we have been SUPER impressed with the summer schedule of events for the school age kids. They have gotten to take some pretty amazing field trips as well as have some very cool on campus experiences. As an immigrant, none of my family members live in Texas. Daycare has been my point of care for my children, so I can go to work to support them. Little Explorers Infant Academy has been a blessing for me and my family.... Here's what I think: Health and Safety: Ms. Deana and her administrative team have implemented many policies and procedures to ensure that children are safe, secure, and able to learn in a conducive environment. I am happy that I have barely had to stay home due to my children's illness from childcare. If my children pick up a common cold or anything that needs immediate attention, I will not send them to the daycare to ensure I follow the rules to keep other children safe from illnesses. We must do our part as parents. They will return after feeling better or following the protocols in place. Teachers: I can only speak from the experience of the teachers I have had. Ms. Celia is simply outstanding! My son loves her to the moon and back....and he is only 1. He has been with Ms. Celia since he was two months old, and he knows her and positively reacts to her. She is warm and motherly and makes me feel safe with him in her care. My sweet girl has been at Little Explorers since she was five months old; she will be 3 in November. I have visited a few other daycares that would have been a more leisurely, shorter commute to work, but they do not compare or have the standards set from what I have seen at Little Explorers! So my commute to work is longer, but I know that my children are around people trained and vetted to work in this facility. They recently requested recycle-able materials from home for the each classroom to make a project for Earth day and I cannot wait to see what they create! It's a great place for your kids to learn Spanish and have fun. After four weeks our daughter came home singing a complete song in Spanish and she routinely hugs and kisses each staff member upon departure. I know she is loved and she loves it there!
