Centerra Ranch Montessori School has been delightful!…read more Our first interaction with the school was in February 2022 when my husband and I called to inquire about their Nido/Infant program. The Director, Mrs. Michelle, was so lovely, welcoming and patient. She answered numerous questions about the school, programs and enrollment process despite not having an appointment. She even was able to accommodate an in-person tour the following day. The next day we arrived for our in-person tour (during COVID). Mrs. Michelle met us at the door and had a personalized greeting sign for us when we walked in. By the end of the tour, we were so impressed by the school, teachers and staff that we proceeded to enroll our son on-site. The facility isn't the newest, but the teachers and staff were so respectful and attentive with the children - we even noticed that they greet and say goodbye to EVERY child by name which just shows how involved they are. Our son is now six months and has been loving the program. If you are considering them, I'd recommend giving them a try. Admittedly the Yelp and Facebook reviews made me slightly nervous. However, they are older and don't do justice to the school now under new leadership.

The classroom facing the front desk with the teacher with thick black glasses; I saw her aggressively grab and pinch his arm while reprimanding him, she shoved him to the side all while not knowing I was watching her while speaking to the lady at the front desk. When I called it out they said I was "making stuff up" and that "all parents don't complain" but I saw the front desk lady give the teacher a LOOK as if warning her to stop because I was watching her. Ask your child themselves about this incident because I see now why they refuse to have cameras inside the classrooms and outside the play area, this is a very BIG RED FLAG. And your children's safety is not something to bargain with. I will be reporting this to the state as well. They became very hostile once I told them I did not want to enroll my toddler due to the lack of cameras and they claimed it was "parents" who requested all cameras to be removed from their centers but that one incident was enough for me to understand why they truly have it like that. I'm really hoping this reach is his parents because behavior like this is extremely concerning from a teacher dealing with children.

She was loved on, comfortable, well taken care of and truly "learned" so much at such a young age. They provided so many memorable pictures and did a great job of keeping me informed about what my daughter liked/didn't like from food to activities to toys. It was incredible! When she transitioned to the 1 year old class room (Suite 150) we didn't skip a beat! All of the same updates and pictures kept coming our way and I promise there was not one day we didn't see our daughter getting the love and attention she needed (as well as the other kids in her class room). We unfortunately took her out of daycare when COVID wrecked the US and we kept her out from March to September. Due to me working from home still we tried a Kids R Kids closer to home and it was PATHETIC! Within days of being at the new KidsRKids I immediately called Kay (the director of this facility) and begged to come back. She welcomed us with open arms and from day 1 my daughter was given the necessary love and attention she so desperately needed to feel comfortable. My daughter is now in Suite 150 and I swear, I didn't think each room could maintain the learning, attention, love, and phenomenal communication....but they do. You can tell the standards here are far better than most daycares and they surpass our expectations each and every day. So much so that we will continue to make the 20 minute drive day and night to make sure she stays at this facility until she starts Kindergarten. I'm not sure why others haven't had a great experience, but mark my words-that is the complete opposite of what we have experienced. From the front desk to the classrooms it is a well respected staff that CARES about your child and your family. Please, please, please do your child a favor and send them to Ms. Kay and her staff - your child will flourish and you'll be more than happy you did.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but parents deserve to know about our experience…read more We entrusted British Private Prep School with the care and safety of our children and were ultimately forced to withdraw them because we lost confidence in the school's ability to adequately address serious safety concerns. Our daughter disclosed an incident involving inappropriate touching by another student. When we brought the matter to the school's attention, we expected an immediate and thorough investigation. Instead, more than a week passed with little meaningful action, despite multiple follow-up emails from us requesting answers. By the time the school began looking into the matter, we were informed that any potentially relevant video footage had already been deleted because the camera system only retains recordings for approximately one week. We were then told that, without video evidence, the school was relying on the accounts of staff members rather than our daughter's disclosure. What has been most heartbreaking is the impact this has had on our daughter. Prior to this incident, she loved attending school. Since disclosing what happened, she has expressed that she feels uncomfortable and does not want to return. As parents, watching that change has been devastating. We understand that schools cannot prevent every incident that may occur between children. However, we believe parents have a right to expect prompt communication, timely investigations, preservation of available evidence, and a response that takes a child's concerns seriously. Every parent must make their own decision, but based on our experience, we felt it was necessary to immediately withdraw our children from the school for their well-being and peace of mind. We hope the school takes this opportunity to review its procedures regarding incident reporting, investigations, parent communication, and video retention so that no other family has to experience what ours has gone through. EDIT TO ADD: After everything that happened, I later learned that the director was no longer at the school, approximately a month or two after I reported our situation to the state. The school was also fined following the state's involvement. Because our primary concern throughout this entire situation was how the director handled what happened to our daughter, I reached back out to the school after learning she was no longer there to see if our boys could possibly return. The school had us bring our son in, tested him for placement into the Bridge Program, introduced him to his teachers, and allowed him to get excited about returning to a school he had previously loved. Then, later that SAME DAY, we received an email stating that because of the situation involving our daughter a few months prior, they felt it was best that our family not return. As a parent, this was incredibly upsetting. We advocated for our daughter when she told us she had been touched inappropriately, reported our concerns through the appropriate channels, and now our other children are being denied the opportunity to return because of that same situation. From our perspective, it feels like our family is being punished for advocating for our daughter and demanding that what happened to her be taken seriously. The way everything has been handled has also left me with serious concerns about what the school is trying to avoid or distance itself from. Even more concerning, after I made an anonymous Facebook post discussing our experience with the school, several people responded with concerning stories of their own. One anonymous commenter stated that her husband is a police officer and had been called to this same school a couple of years ago for a very similar situation. I cannot personally verify the details of that incident, so I want to be clear that I am sharing what was reported to me, not presenting it as something I witnessed firsthand. At this point, there have simply been too many red flags for me to stay quiet. I strongly encourage parents considering this school to do their own research, ask difficult questions about how incidents involving children are documented, investigated, and communicated to parents, and think very carefully before deciding whether this is where they want to send their children.

A small payment-process dispute with my child's school could have been resolved with a quick,…read morereasonable decision. Instead, it became a sticking point and led me to look more closely at public records and fee policies, ended up withdrawing my child. Before enrolling, check the Texas HHS public child-care compliance history for any daycare you are considering. Parents have the right to review inspection reports and compliance history. For BPPS on S. Mason Rd, I found a Texas HHS deficiency dated 10/7/2025 for Standard 746.2805(3), "Prohibited Punishments - Grabbing and Pulling." The public narrative states there was sufficient evidence that a child was grabbed while in care. The record also states the deficiency was corrected, and compliance was verified on 11/13/2025. I'm sharing this so other parents know to check public records, read fee policies carefully, and ask questions before enrolling.

We have been a part of the Primrose Family for the past 9 years and absolutely adore the…read moreadministration and teachers at Cinco Ranch and Kelliwood. I write this with tears in my eyes as our Primrose journey is coming to an end with our youngest attending elementary in the fall. When my older daughter was two I knew she needed to transition from a private nanny to a school environment. I did my research; I checked out every "outstanding" preschool in the Katy area! I wanted a school that REALLY CARED about my daughter, met my ridiculously high cleanliest/hygienic standards, provided healthy foods (I have a degree in Dietetics), and provided outstanding academic curriculum. Most importantly, I wanted a school that would be an extension of "home" for her. Primrose was the soft place we landed and it was the best decision for our family. My oldest daughter started in Preschool A and attended through the Explorers program (3rd grade). My youngest started at 8 weeks old in the infant room and just completed her Kindergarten year at the Kelliwood location. I am in awe of how much my daughters grew in their time there. Primrose is certainly a leader in early education with their curriculum extending far beyond ABC's and numbers. The children learn essential life skills, critical thinking, social skills, good manners, how to be good citizens of the world, ways to be healthy, and get to experience frequent hands-on-learning field trips (Pre-K and older), etc. Both of my girls are/were more than prepared for elementary school. My oldest transitioned into the GT program in elementary and my youngest is leaving Primrose Kindergarten on a 1st grade level for math and reading. And while academics are important, it's really the staff that has made our time there such a sweet experience. The teachers and administration truly care about each student. They are vibrant and fun, they love on the kids, they come up with creative and fun learning activities and are always throwing a party for something! It is truly a family atmosphere. When COVID-19 began and students started online learning, Ms. Klein (Kinder teacher) and the staff created a seamless transition. I was impressed by their creativity in finding different and fun ways to engage with the kids as if they were in the classroom! Kindergarten: Ms. Klein and Ms. Fari THANK YOU for teaching and loving on BOTH of my girls. You will always hold a special place in their hearts. Admin: Ms. Ashley, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Jenny, Ms. E. THANK YOU for making us laugh, for throwing the best parties, and loving on my girls. To all the teachers and admin that have taught the girls over the past 9 years (including the teachers and admin that are at other Primrose locations now).... too many to list!! THANK YOU!!!! We love you and after COVID is over, we are coming back for BIG hugs.

We absolutely love Primrose Cinco Ranch! The teachers are so caring and the staff is so attentive…read more It's like one big family and we feel so blessed to be a part of it!
