As you walk in you would probably not expect it to be the size that it is but it's actually quite large and spacious with lots of room for the kids. We can see the difference in our son from week to week as he grows and learns... he's learned songs, started really using words, improved his motor skills significantly and definitely become very social! We even started part time because I was really struggling with not having my little quarantine buddy by my side 24/7 and within a couple months were up to full-time. From retreats to Lutherhill, Snow boarding trips to Angel Fire, installing conduit with pastor Mike after school while exspanding the church and the deep life conversations we had as I went through a difficult time in my life(teenage drug and alcohol use) I completed my confirmation here as well. I still speak to some of my the fellow youths to this day ( I am 36 now). I have not been back to visit in about 12 years ( Iv'e been stationed in Coronado CA, Little Creek VA) but as my children grow I have always used Living Word as the standard I look for in terms of their youth program and excepting congregation. The youth programs were 2nd to none. Us teens could come to the church and hang out in the youth room at ANY time, and I mean ANY TIME! . We would call Pastor Mike on a friday after school or Saturday at 7pm so a group of us could just hang out and eat food and watch movies until 10 or 11 at night. We looked forward to Wednesday confirmation class, Saturday night music worship service and we all would hang out after the 11Am Sunday service. Pastor Mike operated with us (high school youth) knowing if we were at the church we werent out making the mistakes many other teenagers were making, we were safe and in a type of enviorment that can only help us. If Living Word is anything like it was when I attended then you will not find a better House of the Lord to raise a young family in.

Because of the age gap in our kids, we've experienced almost every classroom and can whole heartedly say that everyone there is amazing. The teachers are very loving and work hard to provide a well rounded curriculum from an early age. Our daugther is know school age and loves the after school program (which they pick her up from school as part of the tuition). During the summer she is enrolled full time and we have been SUPER impressed with the summer schedule of events for the school age kids. They have gotten to take some pretty amazing field trips as well as have some very cool on campus experiences. We can't thank CC enough for all the steps they took to continue to provide childecare to essential workers (which both me and my husband are) during the heart of the pandemic. After the introduction, my husband and I were taken to the back to get a glimpse of the infant room. First of all, there was food on the floor in the area under the table where the older infants are placed, and two cups on the floor. There was a teacher by herself changing out diapers and when the other teacher walked in there was no sense of urgency in cleaning the mess, by the time she did begin to sweep several minutes had already passed, she picked one of the cups placed it on the counter and put the broom back. Took her several more minutes to realize there was more food on the other side and didn't bother to pick up the other cup, and not to mention no one bothered to wash the first cup that was on the floor. The other side of the smaller infants there was no interaction with them what so ever, no sense of compassion, they were just on the floor being observed by the staff, one of the staff had bright pink two inch nails on. When I brought that to the director's attention, he said he has never had a complaint of scratches before and if he did, he would then bring it to attention and change that. Not to mention when I first walked in the front staff did smile and greet, but other staff that came out from the back did not smile or greet or even acknowledge I was there. At the end of the tour I told the director I would not be bringing my baby here due to all of these issues I witnessed firsthand.
