Caroline is on top of every aspect of care, she takes detailed notes, follows up on every question, and it's reassuring to know that she is there. The expected length of stay was two months, and my spouse was able to be discharged in one month due to the speed of his wound healing. We had heard from other healthcare professionals as well as friends whose relatives had been here about the quality of nursing wound care. The nurses are great. Christina and Brittany did most of his care during the days, with Sandra and Laura providing care most of the nights.You know you are at a good place when the ADON does hands-on nursing care too (thank you, Kelley!). Nursing care has been excellent for a patient with complex drugs, ostomy, foley, needing PT/OT, breathing treatments, and on a special diet. Food smelled and tasted good and they'll deliver to your room if it's your preference. Shonda and Xaviera who distribute the medication pay close attention to changes in drug regimens and orders. Quality laundry services provided. Maintenance was quick to unclog the toilet when it got stopped up. The activities director posts activities if you choose to join. Televisions in rooms have dish network with a lot of channels. And housekeeping is excellent and they are very efficient. The room smells so good when they clean, and the whole facility is clean. Shawnderrick, the social worker, does a thorough review of current and post-hospital needs. Pamela takes care of MDS and was particularly helpful in dealing with insurance, as was Leona in billing. The lady at the front desk and the HR director whose office is in the front greet you with a smile. If your family member needs to be transported either via van or by ambulance to doctor appointments, the transportation lady, Sharon, takes care of all the arrangements, handles the paperwork, and communicates everything. It's lovely not having to worry about all those details. This has been an excellent experience.
