I usually don't write reviews...but there is no way I can keep quiet. I had my eye exam at another Berkeley location. I could not find frames there as the selection was limited. when I showed up at the El Campo office.. Maria worked diligently to help me find a suitable pair. When she was processing the cost with my insurance...some questions arose. Maria had to attemp 3 times to make contact with the insurance company. It was learned that coverage would be minimal to none since frames were not purchased at the location I had the eye exam. Maria went straight back to the women who handles claims and insurance and to find out what is going on. I figured it would be bad news.. my concern now was paying the total eye exam myself and forfeit glasses completely. Maria was gone for a while. when she returned...she had the best news ever. I really appreciated the staff for hanging in there... postponing their lunch times in order to help me with all my insurance woes. I can't say enough how Berkeley Eye Center not only takes care of us individually but also as a community. I am forever grateful for all their care and help! read more

I'm a newbie to Berkeley Eye Center in El Campo...I came, in search of a great tech, Linda Kumaga, who has taken incredible care of my family for years! My contact prescription got very complicated (with my aging) and she never ..ever gave up on trying to fit me....(I gave up)! She is super... with my glasses and sunglasses, also. From helping me make the hard decisions of which ones to adjusting them to my sensitive head and nose! She has always been available and above and beyond the call of duty. ( She has even stopped by my office, when I couldn't make it in during her working hours, to adjust my glasses!) Berkeley Eye Centers in Wharton County are going to feel the blessings of this hard working gal! I am thankful to be a new patient there! THEY HAVE A GREAT SELECTION OF GLASSES TO CHOOSE FROM...without all the baiting and switching promos that the "others" advertise! The people At Berkley Eye Center in El Campo are great! I have been going to them for at least 12 years. The people at the front desk are very polite and helpful. Maria and Olga in the fitting department, wow, I can't say enough go about them. They are the most amazing team and veTy knowledgeable about what they do. Always patienot with the customer. Also, I would like to mention a lady that helps booking cataract surgeries named Alma. She makes lining up the surgeries a breeze for the patient. Thank you Alma!! Last but not least, Dr Carl Ermis. An amazing optometrist that has been taking care of my eyes all these years. I never lost confidence and trust in him. Thank you Dr Ermis. . My surgery went great and see so much better now. Excellent! Berkeley Eye Center in El Campo is excellent all around. From the facility, to the doctors, to the staff, to the shop, all of it! My wife, daughter, and I will drive the extra hour to exclusively take advantage of this facility from our larger hometown because of how well they take care of everyone. All three of us had appointments, and we were in and out with exams and glasses ordered in under 2 hours - and that's awesome and typical for this place. We also left with smiles on our faces having been taken very good care of throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone! read more

I went to Berkeley on last Friday August 9, i saw Dr. Ermis such a pleasant visit as always...im sorry i can't remember the tech's name i had but she was short and she wore glasses, i think her hair was blonde she was so sweet if i wouldn't have been talking so much to her i would probably have remember her name...And i can't forget the Optical Shop Ms. Olga always always a big help and does a WONDERFUL job at helping me pick the right glasses out...Thanks Berkeley Eye Center read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now. Everyone I go for an appointment, I am greeted with happy, friendly faces. The doctors always give me advice to help my eyesight. Meaning they care for my health/ eyes. And if you ever want to try on glasses or contacts there, I highly recommend Maria!! She always helps me with what I like and what looks good on me. I had a great visit at Berkeley eye clinic in El Campo. Dr Kaycie Ermis is fantastic. I feel very confident in her taking care of my vision! The Staff including the optical shop go over and beyond to always greet me when I first enter the room and are the best at making sure I have a great experience! When ordering glasses, i always have a great experience. Especially when i get to see Maria, she is awesome. if there ever was a problem, she can fix it. She always finds a way to help her customer. And she does it all with a smile. She is very welcoming. As for the doctors there, i always have a great experience. They are great with my daughter and all four of my grandkids. Just went here today and the ladies up front and Linnie and Dr Ermis were great! I would definitely recommend coming here instead of having to brave the traffic to travel somewhere in the Houston area. I love everything about Berkeley in El Campo. The staff is very friendly and attentive to each patient as I've seen. As for me i can't complain. Dr. Ermis is a great Dr with very knowledgeable experience. Any concerns or questions that I may have are answered.
