Love this office, front office staff and Dr Wong. Have been going since 2016, for allergy shots . Had suffered for years with Asthma , upper respiratory and sinus infections . Then hives became a chronic problem. I am pretty much symptom free due to the protocol Dr Wong put me on. I owe my great health to this office. I feel like a miracle baby. And now I am around dogs all the time , no issues. As a patient , I did my part and showed up for injections and appointments as instructed. Also asked questions , which were patiently answered. I believe we have to be advocates for our own health. It takes two, me and the medical staff. Grateful to have been referred to this office.

I kept asking for breaks because it felt very painful to me, and he did not seem to care at all. He was very defensive and tried to gaslight me into believing that it wasn't as painful as I was making it out to be. I had to cry for him to stop, and after that, he just walked out. He did not have an ounce of patience for me and was not understanding. Also, his equipment is very outdated. I went to another ENT the next week, and they were great! They used tools that didn't feel as invasive and dangerous as his. They actually listened to my needs and tried their best not to hurt me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

When he was cleaning my ear, he was quite rough; and yelled at me when I asked him to be more gentle. He was really defensive and I'm not sure if it's because of his age but I feel like it's dangerous for his patients if he's still be practicing. He acted like it was my fault for the ear infection and rudely yelled at me to listen to his diagnosis and that I must listen to everything he said. He prescribed me antibiotics and wanted me to come back in 10 days. I took the medication but refused to come back. My ears haven't gotten any better and I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I'm a little torn to write this review since I found Dr. Wong to be a very personable and…read moreknowledgeable doctor. I moved from Washington DC after having seen an allergist there for over 3 years where I took regular allergy shots. I found Dr. Wong through yelp and he is also the only allergist in Hacienda Heights. This is important because if you plan to take regular allergy shots, you need someone close since this can be a time consuming endeavor. Anyway, I have nothing negative to say about Dr Wong, but I am disappointed in their incompetent front office staff. After 2 appointments with Dr Wong, the first being when I took my allergy test shots and the 2nd to recommend a treatment plan after getting my results from my Washington DC allergist, I noticed that they wanted me to sign paperwork stating that I would pay a copay for my injections. Now, I knew this was incorrect since I had the same insurance as I did in DC, Dr. Wong is a preferred provider within my insurance, and for over 3 years at my other allergist, I never had a copay for injections. I only paid when I had a visit with the actually allergy doctor. Anyway, to make a long story short, after calling my insurance company several times and the doctor's office also calling my insurance company, it was determined that I wouldn't have any copays for injections shots. Unfortunately, this took a lot of arguing and explaining to them which was incredibly frustrating and made me less than confident about their billing department. I found them rude, condescending, and very unprofessional and can't recommend going to them even if they are the only allergist in town.

My life become normal. When exposed to cold air and pollutants like smoke, chemical like paint I would fall into a mode of sneezing and heavy mucus production. Now I have milk and cheese with any problems. My systems have certainly been reset.

Background on me: I developed eczema when I was 18 years old and have been to a number of dermatologists that prescribed me steroid creams which gave me temporary relief, but the withdrawal effects made my condition 5x worse. I found a TCM practitioner pre-covid that got rid of my eczema for around 3 years. As my condition started to come back, I started another search for a TCM practitioner who could help me achieve similar results. NAET: When I found NAET I saw that majority of reviews were all 5 stars, so my confidence going into this practice was high. From my anecdotal experience, an allergen or variable that the body is sensitive to, is placed in the patient's hand; a vibrating device is then run down the patient's spine to fortify immunity to the object in the patient's hand. The allergen is then to be avoided for a full 24 hours after treament. There are over 12 allergens that the base full package treatment provides, ranging from Vitamin B, Vitamin C, metals, calcium mix, etc. The base full treatment package costs $1173 from what I was pitched As previously mentioned, the patient must avoid the allergen treated for 24 hours. I spent an entire month month running through all treatments, when I was told most patient's do maybe one or two treatments a week due to the intensity of avoiding allergens for an entire 24 hours (example: for the calcium allergen, all water besides distilled water must be avoided; no showers, brushing teeth, drinking water with normal mineral water; example 2: metal allergen, I had to wear gloves all day as most things contain metal - phone, door knobs, etc.). This was just the tip of the iceberg with things I had to avoid on a daily basis to see if the treatment would work or not. Conclusion: The practitioner-client relationship was phenomenal. The service and care given was exceptional. However, at the end of the day I did everything I was asked to do at 100% efficacy, completed the entire treatment, and gave my life to this for an entire 30 days to ensure results at the end. I've provided images before and after so you can see if I achieved the results that were forecasted to me, or not. If the pictures don't do it justice, my condition was the same after the NAET treatment. Only until I started seeing a different TCM practitioner, I started to see a slight decrease in redness from the eczema. Please be careful in whom you decide to spend your hard-earned money with! Don't fall for the exceptional service and kindness, really look into if they can get you RESULTS, because that is what you're paying for, not a friend or therapist. This was my personal experience that is as detailed and honest as it can be because most of the reviews are 5 stars, and there needs to be grey area from patients who don't receive what they expect.

DO NOT GO HERE! This is the worst doctor (Dr. William Harris) experience I've had to date,…read moreespecially regarding their billing and professionalism. As another yelp review wrote for the Allergy Partners of Orange County, their billing is centralized in North Carolina and they have no clue what is happening at their California branches. I understand that billing differs depending on your insurance policy and that doctors (even for the same procedure) can use a different billing code depending how they administer the allergy shots. I was told explicitly by both Dr. William Harris and the front office staff that my billing would be done one way, and was billed multiple times another way costing me well over $350 before I left their practice without completing my allergy shots. Because they have to submit their bills to North Carolina, you won't know what they submitted to your health insurance company until months later, and then trying to get this squared away is impossible since they don't care what the staff in this office told you. Aside from the horrible and dishonest billing practices at this office, which should be enough for you to stay away, here are a list of things that I didn't like about this office. 1) I had a major argument with the Practice Manager (not the front office staff who are generally nice, but this person works behind the scenes, or at least I've never seen him the 7-8 times I went there). His "professionalism" to his customers is something else. He should think about changing jobs. 2) You have to make an appointment to get a shot. This is because there are only two people in this office other than the allergist. Therefore, the front office staff who checks you in, and the person who administers the shot, are many times the same person. I don't know if they are a registered nurse, but I doubt it. I do know you only need to have a basic license to administer allergy shots, so I doubt a registered nurse would do double-time front desk duties, but that's a guess. 3) DId I mention the shitty billing they have? 4) Oh, and screw you to the Practice Manager who is a complete jerk-off.
