This place used to be a nice friendly place, something happened? I walked in, they staired at me,…read moreI ignored and went to look for something I was after. My husband walked in and the staff greeted him, (he is white and I am not) I didn't think much about this. Later as I walked around the shop, I noticed a young woman with glasses was kind of following me. The funniest part is that she tried so hard to look casual but she was almost waiting for me to steal something? I looked at her and said Do you work here? she replied yeees... I asked some question about plants, I found a couple of stuff I wanted to buy so I went to check out, One was still busy checking out some customer with a wagon full of stuff so I asked an older woman if her till was open. She didn't even look up at me, said the other one is almost done, pointing at the other guy with her chin.... So rude. The young casher guy was nice, putting my plants carefully in a paper bag. Later I joined my husband who was looking at some trees in the back, he wanted to consider buying high ticket item but I said no. Clearly they are somewhat against non-white people, not sure, but I definitely felt unwelcome there, I have not felt this way ever in any stores before.

Which is as expansive as shopping at Amazon and maybe a little more money so the service is what should set it apart. Unfortunately the person working at the time was rude in my opinion. I mentioned I was having a problem with WPM white powder mildew and what products I've tried . And the sales guys just he never had that problem it must be the humidity . I do have two hydrometers and know what my humidity is. I said that and his answer was " I don't know , I just talk to growers all day. " well I'm trying to information. About how to fix my problem it's a common problem , you sell products to help it , aren't you in the business of selling grow products ?? Anyways I felt he was very condescending to me . I can always buy stuff online and what keeps local stores open is the people who you deal with that build a community. The store has the biggest selection I just wish my help more helpful that day. If you give poor service people write reviews online , treat everyone kindly.

Then the voice proceeded to speak in a feminine male style voice with an unaudible message. Dr. Pickles claimed it was his friend, and that he was up on a ladder at the time, and proceeded to argue with about who was doing it. This store sucks! The older staff personnel like Ryan was much better and a lot more professional than these "people" if you can even call them that that manage it now. They try to get you in when they can't answer questions on the phone and how are they going to be able to answer them in person if they can't answer them on the phones? However, I am disappointed with what she received. I live in NYC and am very aware that flower arrangements can be expensive. I am disappointed in the fact that this location is a nursery and should have tons of flowers at their disposal, so I expected a phenomenal arrangement compared to what I've bought and have gotten in NYC for the same price. Maybe it's better to buy in person where you see what you get but definitely do not recommend buying online. The flowers are beautiful and the arrangement is beautiful but definitely not worth the value paid.

If I could give negative stars I would!…read more We just got 4 cords of "seasoned" wood delivered that is mostly unusable because it is NOT seasoned! Also, there is so much scrap mixed in (along with some asphalt!) with the wood (see pics) and they say their wood is "clean"????? Our woodstove is our primary source of heat in the winter and now we just spent our wood budget on CRAP! I called twice....once I left a voicemail because no one answered and the other time the person who answered took our information and said we would get a call or Keith would come to the house to discuss....Guess what....NO ONE called or came to talk to us! I always want to do business within my town and they boast that they take care of their customers and their wood is CLEAN and SEASONED....NONE of it is true! Also, they state that all of their logs are uniformly cut...see the pic....that is also not true! Now we have to sift through, separate, and stack what can be used and then take more time to clean all of the scrap and dirt...which is about 3 inches thick! What is most disappointing to me is that they do not even care the least about even trying to make things right.....it is really unbelievable to me.

Not only were they incredibly responsive, but they made floral arrangements in advance and texted me videos of the 360° view of them for me to make my selection. Beyond that, the delivery on the day of the event was seamless, including the fact that Steven returned to the venue after hours to retrieve the easel that I had rented from them for the gorgeous floral spray for the podium. The 11 floral centerpieces and 3 statement pieces completely transformed the space, and our guests could not stop commenting on their beauty. I am forever grateful to Steven and Karen, and should you have the great fortune of working with them for any of your future events, I promise you will be as well.
