On October 14th, they received a pathology report indicating a cancerous tumor in my appendix. I had a post-operative appointment with Mary and a follow-up call regarding my bloodwork results. Unfortunately, Mary only reviewed the bloodwork results and failed to inform me of my cancer diagnosis twice within three days. When I called to inquire, Clemmy informed me that it was not feasible for them to read every report that comes in and expressed her apologies. She also mentioned that Mary would likely call to apologize as well, but she has not done so. I believed my primary care physician was responsible for handling situations like this, especially when the hospital and surgeon did not contact me. I relied on Mary to review the report that had been placed in my file two days earlier. If you are looking for a doctor's office that does not prioritize reading every report, Willard Family Practice and Mary may be suitable for you.

In January I made a trip to the ER at Centura Adventist, with severe breathing issues. The diagnosis was an acute pulmonary embolism. Dr. Tagami also sees patients in the Castle Rock office of the practice. This provides even more convenience. I recommend him for his ability to approach patient care with the right mix of pragmatism and wisdom. Highly recommend.

I also inspected hospital systems, hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers for Congress over two decades ago. Dr. Jatana is truly great from every perspective. He and his staff took time to assuage my concerns about a dual Cervical Disc replacement. I went from pain levels that almost left the 10 out of 10 scale to something between a zero and a one. His team meets every criterion of excellence in medicine. My anxiety level is usually very high when facing surgery - he and his team were a soothing balm that quelled that anxiety. Of all of the facilities I have seen, and surgeons who have performed surgery on me, NONE MATCH DR JATANA AND HIS TEAM FOR EXCELLENCE - NONE!

Complaint about Dr. Kimball's Office and Staff I am writing…read moreto express my extreme dissatisfaction with the staff and scheduling practices at Dr. Kimball's office, specifically regarding the unprofessional conduct of the director, Lisa Douglas. I have been a long-time patient, but my recent experience has been unacceptable. I was scheduled for an appointment and, for the second time, had to take time off work. Just 20 minutes before my appointment, while I was already on the road, the office called to reschedule. I showed up to the new appointment, where I was informed for the very first time that my insurance was out of network. This happened after I had already undergone an MRI. It is a fundamental responsibility of a medical office to verify insurance coverage before performing services, and to communicate this information to the patient in a timely manner. When I expressed my frustration, the director, Lisa Douglas, responded with a profound lack of courtesy and empathy. She told me I needed to have "sympathy" for their disorganized scheduling and that the doctors were "literally running to the ER." Her dismissive and rude behavior was completely unprofessional. It is not the patient's responsibility to manage the clinic's internal chaos. Lisa Douglas is the rudest and most snobbish person I have ever encountered in the medical industry. She lacks basic sympathy and compassion for patients. I have been waiting for surgery, and now I am left to find a new provider because of their negligence. It is ludicrous to think I would get surgery done out of network, and this should have been mentioned from the very beginning.

Dr. Kumar and Staff provided me with the best health care experience of my life!…read moreOver 4 years I lived in pain that limited my ability to live life to the fullest. I live on a cattle ranch and have to perform many very physical tasks which include spending long days in the saddle. Prior to Dr. Kumar I would end everyday whether riding or performing work activities or chores I was in excruciating pain. I underwent multiple methods of treatment that only seemed to make my pain worse. From my first visit at Dr. Kumar's office to present day I am always in awe of the level of care and time Dr. Kumar provides to ensure I understand what is going on with my back. Dr. Kumar performed surgery on my back in September 2018 and I now have none of the pain I suffered from previously. I had forgotten what it was like to not have to rely on medications to get through the day. I am still recovering and getting better each day. While it is too soon to get back in the saddle I am very optimistic, for the first time in years, that when I do ride again it will be without pain. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Kumar and his Staff. They are always accommodating to me for appointments because I travel 7 hours to see them. I am and will always recommend to people whom tell me they are having back, hip or leg pain that they go see Dr. Kumar. He is very thorough when diagnosing the problem and ensuring that whatever treatment provided is what is necessary to improve the patients quality of life. Having dealt with surgeons both personally and professionally I appreciated that Dr. Kumar was not arrogant or condescending, but simply honest and transparent. He took the time needed always to ensure complete understanding of the problem and the solution. His surgical care was so impressive. He takes many preventative measures to ensure that the risk of infection is minimized as much as possible and also takes measures to ensure that the final outcome is in the best interest of the patient. I am so pleased with my results thus far and look forward to even better results and being free from the pain I have suffered for so long. Dr. Kumar and his Team are outstanding.
