He repaired my right rotator cuff in 2006. It quickly returned to 100% and has remained that way ever since. Therefore, I went to him again this year when my left rotator cuff needed to be repaired. Once again, he was simply great. He walked me through the process, told me what to expect and then his staff took care of all the details of scheduling and preparation. He was only wrong about one thing: He said I'd have a day or two of medium pain after surgery. I had none at all. Hard to believe, but true. I've had 3 post-op visits with him and I'm well on my way to total recovery. When you trust your surgeon, you experience much less stress and anxiety. I can't recommend Dr. Catalano highly enough.

People got to eat. Somebody happen to come out and explain that there are 2 desk stations , one for Orthopedic doctor visits and another for PT visits. They told us to come back in a bit later and someone would help. Came back and made an appointment and asked if they could call with the co-pay amount, they said they would call 24 hours before the appointment with that amount. No phone call was given. 1st appointment had to be cancelled by them because the PT woman got sick , rescheduled with a different PT person. Very thorough 1st appointment. He was very good. Heard around the office that people were getting ill. Came back a second time , overheard one PT guy telling his patient he was ill and the patient said she had gotten sick too. We got sick and now another PT person said he was sick. Geeze thats an issue and this place needs to get a deep clean.

They got me in right away and were just awesome. The nurse there caught the small fracture I had (very hard to see on the x-ray) and stuck my hand in a brace till I could get in to see the doctor in a couple days (and let the swelling go down). When I went back they set me up with a brace and straps for my fingers to make sure I didn't break it any more while it was healing. Dr. Yi is fantastic and very friendly. Hopefully I never need to see them again, but if it comes up (knock on wood), I know where I'm going.

He was honest and up front saying that due to what was seen it was most likely surgery would be needed but he didn't push it on me. He gave me time to approach the situation with physical therapy and injections. I did make some progress but not enough to live a fully functional life without limitations like before. Dr. Aguwa was right, surgery it would be. He is very personable, considerate and caring. He makes sure you fully understand what will happen and things should be after surgery so you should not have any doubts in your mind. He is a miracle worker! I got to go home the same day of surgery. The nerve pain was gone immediately and I didn't even really need any of the pain meds after a few days. *Also I don't have any strange butcher/ Frankenstein scars, which is a plus. Before retirement, my principal job was reviewing healthcare organizations for a congressional committee of the U.S. Congress. Unlike today, this position at the time was totally non-political. The scope ranged from major multiple hospitals, clinics, rehab, nursing homes, and related healthcare organizations. Admittedly, I saw the full spectrum of healthcare quality - that is why I rate Dr. Sanjay Jatana and his team of professionals so highly - they represent the best possible confluence of surgical skill and knowledge with extraordinary people skills. Even in the years since my retirement about a decade ago, I saw the full-range of quality in healthcare. At the bottom end of the spectrum are surgeons who drag gargantuan egos through the hallways and produce bad results. One north Denver based surgeon spent a total of less than three minutes total over the course of two office visits with me for a Lumbar disc replacement, instinct told me to just walk out - I knew better - I wish I had. He did not even bother to stick his face behind the pre-op curtain before surgery and did not follow-up post-surgery, left me in excruciating pain of 10/10 for an hour because the nursing staff were terrified of talking to this guy, and finally saw me some three months later, almost an afterthought. He spent more time talking about his teaching engagement in Europe than caring about his patients. This is the exact opposite of Dr. Jatana and his team's approach - thank goodness. My training and expertise tell me that you cannot go wrong with the Jatana-team. I think he is the best I have ever seen!

I would rather deal with the chronic pain I have from 2 failed back surgeries & 2 neck surgeries as well as my Fibromyalgia than deal with these crooks! Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

I met Dr DeLaRosa after months with a severe fracture to my humerus that was not healing. My…read moreprevious orthopedic surgeon had put me in a brace and said that it looked great every time I had an office visit and they took an x-ray and said to come back in another couple of weeks for another check up. My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! I cannot say enough about the quality of care from all of the staff from the front desk to the schedulers, the MA's and of course Dr DeLaRosa....everyone at OCC went above and beyond for my care and still does!
