I needed a skin cancer removed from the top of my head and it was scheduled for a few weeks out. When they called to tell me what I would have to pay, I asked if I could use CareCredit and they said yes. There were problems with the CareCredit app and the provider website on the day. The person at the desk initially refused to call the provider customer service number, but finally did, and got my account information about 15-20 minutes after I arrived. After all this, I hear them talking about rescheduling someone amongst themselves, not once saying anything directly to me until I asked. That's when they confirm that "this took too long to resolve" and they would reschedule me for the 29th (when I'm out of town for work). I can't take off another day from work, so I will clearly just walk around with skin cancer on my head. Here's where they went wrong: 1) at no time did anyone tell me to be there early -- they said to arrive at 9.30, and I arrived at 9.25. 2) at any time they could have and should have said, "if this takes more than X number of minutes we will need to reschedule you," and I simply would have paid with a different card. 3) when initially asked to call the provider number, they should have agreed. 4) someone should have had the courtesy to talk directly to me instead of talking around me and making me ask if they were talking about rescheduling me. Now let's be clear that a good bit of this is CareCredit's fault for not maintaining a workable app or website, but Front Range Dermatology has also failed miserably today, in spite of all the "customer friendly" platitudes they plaster all over their website and entrance. If THEY had been running late for any reason they would have 100% made me wait and I would not have been able to say anything about that either.

I had to double my drive time for a doctor I had not met before and made it seem very impersonal. 2) It was more of an extensive procedure than I was prepared for. I wish I would've been prepared more. 3) The assistant doing the dressing on the wound was incompetent. She threw the paper of instructions at me of what I should do at home and Did Not go over them with me. I started to read and ask questions. Nothing like this was said before with the doctor. She just simply said what don't you understand. I said I didn't know I had to redress the wound. She said it was standard but don't worry about it. I asked about other things. Again she didn't go over it just handed me the paper. 4) I never received a follow up call from the doctor to check on me that evening or the day after. Definitely a sign of 'we do not care about the patient just the quota and the profit of the procedure. ' I will not recommend this office.

After we found competent care providers, they both had to have hours of surgery to remove what this office did not treat correctly. We are almost to September and still facing recovery time from this office and the lack of care. A picture is worth a thousand words: don't trust this office with skin cancer detection or treatment.

While I get that he might've had a busy day, it didn't really feel like he was fully listening to my concerns, which was quite disappointing given the money I have to spend out of pocket towards my deductible ($100+ for what was a ~5-10 min appointment). Also, having had surgical procedures before, I don't believe the site preparation was adequate--leading to the substantial staph infection that apparently elevated my heart rate. Cannot recommend, especially for Covid cautious people. Three weeks out and still recovering from the Covid + staph combo punch.

Super easy location with lots of parking! Providers really care for their patients and do everything possible to treat the issue you came in for. Very attentive and respectful of your privacy as well. Never had to wait in the waiting room more than 15 mins! Only complaint is getting in quickly for urgent appointments. Most appointments are available within a week, but if you have a painful acne that needs an injection, I've never gotten a same day or next day appointment. Sometimes they might squeeze you in within 2-3 days, but that just shows how busy and popular they are. I mostly don't mind and have gone to urgent care if they can't accommodate me for any super urgent medical issues. I don't plan on ever leaving this practice as long as they keep accepting my insurance. They are quality providers with wonderful bedside manners that really care!

Though it is a tiny price to pay for two wonderful and healthy children, the journey to get my…read morestomach/abs back to a place I feel confident in has been a long one! My abs were always one of my best assets but after two c-sections in my late thirties, things were very different. After my first daughter everything was fine but after my second I had moderate-severe diastasis (a little more than two fingers width apart) and an umbilical hernia. I figured eventually things would go back to normal with diet, exercise and some targeted core work. I worked out diligently and lost most of the fat off of my stomach but the "pooch" of my abs remained stretched out and just wouldn't go down. Prior to babies I worked in the aesthetic field so I was familiar with all of the different devices and though some helped with skin texture/laxity nothing made my stomach or waistline come back "in". I did physical therapy with a diastasis specialist for 10 weeks, met with two plastic surgeons about tummy tucks (which seemed way overkill for what I wanted to address), and finally met with a general surgeon who told me he couldn't do much aside from repair the umbilical hernia and that I should just 'accept my new body and embrace it'. We are our own worst critics, after all! I took his feedback into consideration and decided against surgery but I continued to struggle with the lack of core strength and the issues that caused. I love to workout and lift weights but nothing was the same after two c-sections. My abs were separated, yes, but they were also cut apart twice and if felt like my lower abdominals just weren't awake. Without being able to fully brace my core I was wobbly and my body tried to compensate by transferring weight and force to my knees, hips and lower back which resulted in many sore nights and trips to PT and chiro. I had heard about Emsculpt years before but in August of 2021 heard from a friend that it really helped her get strong again in her core. I got the package with Dermatology Center of The Rockies-4 total, 1 every week and I cant say enough about what a HUGE difference it has made. I started out on a very low level for my first treatment--the abs near my incision weren't even awake and the sensation of contractions for those lower muscles was very odd but by the end of the first treatment I could tell that things were "waking up"! By the second week we were able to go up quite a bit and I was a little sore afterwards--a great feeling. By the third treatment I felt very strong and after the fourth I noticed an extreme difference aesthetically but also strength wise. I was back to feeling strong!! The treatments do not hurt and there is no downtime. I brought a book to read and the team at Dermatology Center of the Rockies was very attentive during the treatment. I came back after 2 months for my follow up pictures and I am absolutely thrilled. What an incredible treatment to have that does so much aesthetically but also functionally.

I asked about the cost of burning some lesions and she mentioned it would be 5/$75. She did not say that was cosmetic only and that pre-cancer lesions were different. My wife and I counted the times Dr. Warren burned lesions off each of us. It was 5 or less for each of us. Long story short, I was charged for 15+ lesions removed (none of them cosmetic apparently). The communication purposefully deceptive as Dr. Warren knew we were concerned about cost. Upon receiving the bill, I protested and received the map of lesions removed. There were 6 in one spot (one burn, six charges)...none of them communicated to me or us. BE AWARE, Dermatology Center of The Rockies billing practices are dishonest and unfair. They over bill the insurance company thinking the patient won't worry about paying the difference. So sad.
