I know at times Doctor offices have crazy days and are sometimes behind because of emergencies but not once have I ever sat over 10 minutes except once and when I saw the receptionist at check in I was told that it could be a longer wait time than usual no problem not the first time I've had to wait at a Doctors office, their in the business too heal people. Not once have I ever had a staff person representing Doctor Hoover treat me or hear someone being treated or talked too in a negative way. He's staff to me are all very professional and never rude in anyway. If anyone ask me I would Recommend Dr Hoover for all and any Dermatology needs without hesitation. Doctor Hoover is thorough and complete doctor he listens to you when you tell hm the problem and then he determines the best way to solve your needs. They penciled me in at 11:30 with Traci, the Physicians Assistant, and were BEYOND courteous on the phone. I was pretty upset when they called them and they were so so so nice about it. I arrived early, so they got me in early. I was seen immediately by the extremely friendly staff and the PA. They LISTENED to everything I said and were able to accurately and quickly diagnose my five-time-misdiagnosed skin condition. This place is amazing. I'll never go anywhere else.

However, I felt like the Dr. only spent 5-10 mins with me, was rushing through the appointment, and even got up once as if he was about to leave when I was about to ask a question. While I get that he might've had a busy day, it didn't really feel like he was fully listening to my concerns, which was quite disappointing given the money I have to spend out of pocket towards my deductible ($100+ for what was a ~5-10 min appointment). I would suggest going elsewhere, especially if you're a student. Reception team was great, however!

I asked about the cost of burning some lesions and she mentioned it would be 5/$75. She did not say that was cosmetic only and that pre-cancer lesions were different. My wife and I counted the times Dr. Warren burned lesions off each of us. It was 5 or less for each of us. Long story short, I was charged for 15+ lesions removed (none of them cosmetic apparently). The communication purposefully deceptive as Dr. Warren knew we were concerned about cost. Upon receiving the bill, I protested and received the map of lesions removed. There were 6 in one spot (one burn, six charges)...none of them communicated to me or us. BE AWARE, Dermatology Center of The Rockies billing practices are dishonest and unfair. They over bill the insurance company thinking the patient won't worry about paying the difference. So sad.
