I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. I would recommend Uzzel Dental Group and Beavercreek Endodontics to anyone looking for dental care in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base area. In the fall of 2025 I was told by my dentist that it would be better to pull one of my teeth in front and bridge over it than just doing a repair . I decided I'd like a second opinion so I contacted my insurance company and was told that they pay for second opinions. They helped me find a Dentist near me- " Rahn Dental" that they deal with . I called told the receptionist what I wanted to do and she set up an appointment. As always there was a mountain of paperwork and on which I wrote several times I am here for a second opinion only and had no intention of leaving my dentist of the last 30 + years. A few weeks later I received notice in mail from Met Life that they sent them a code for a limited oral evaluation and the x-ray instead of a consultation . I had already had that within the limited 6 month period from my regular dentist. I got the proper code and called but got nowhere with Rahn staff. Keep in mind that Met pays $63.00 for this so it isn't about trying to cheat a dentist out of his pay as my full bill is 66.80 as it stands. A person at the insurance company then offered to at least call and ask Rahn to re-code the bill on my behalf . I heard nothing more until 2-17-26 when I opened my mail and had a bill claiming I was over 90 days late on payment . I called at 2pm on the 17th and again at 4:45 leaving messages to call me both times. no answer no response . About 11 am on the 18th I walked into the Rahn office to talk about it and was again shrugged off. I am 70 years old and I talk with my hands, somehow this intimidates Shannon who for some reason makes a bigger than life deal about it and claims the conversation has to be over because of it. She claims that Dr. Quinttus coded the bill , so I asked Shannon to have him call me since he is the only one who can change it. Other than that the dentist's here seem to be quite busy and I had no problems with Dr. Quinttus . If office staff was more attentive and coding and communication was better I'd have no trouble making them my regular dentist if something ever happened to mine.

This experience was by far the best of any dental experience I have encountered! I was in and out in about an hour. Dr. Wilson kept me informed throughout. My situation was not without challenge - I had two root canals in one tooth! Oh, I was "referred" to Dr. Wilson by my wife who, too, was treated by Dr. Wilson several years prior. Let me not forget Stephanie who is kind and professional. When I called for appointment, I found that I had to wait about 7 weeks - unless an emergency, which mine was not. Stephanie suggested I consider cancellation list. I took her call two weeks later! The practice seems to function calmly, effectively and efficiently. Even though the practice is very busy, I never felt rushed. I felt I was their only patient!

I found Dr. Gioiello on my dental insurance site and then looked him up on Yelp. I would like to thank those who Yelped before me, because this guy and his staff are GREAT!! I felt very well taken care of. He and his hygienist were kind and listened to me. The first thing he said to me was "Tell me about your teeth". He is a caring dentist.
