My parents came to my appointment where Dr. Hughes explained my diagnosis and treatment options thoroughly....even my parents were impressed by her knowledge! My Mom, who lives a few hours away, had breast cancer last year (before me) and said she learned more from Dr. Hughes than her own doctors! She takes the time to explain things and answer all your questions and never makes you feel rushed. She let's you cry when you need to cry and laughs with you when you're ready to laugh. Extremely disappointed with my experience. My consultation was scheduled for 10:00 AM, and I…read morearrived about 10 minutes early out of respect for their time. From the moment I walked in, the dark-haired woman at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. I drove 40 minutes for this appointment and paid a $50 consultation fee, so I expected at minimum for my appointment time to be respected. The nurse who brought me back was actually very sweet and professional, and she was the only positive part of the experience. I was taken into a room and then sat there waiting for 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, and the doctor still never came in. No one gave me an update or explained why I was waiting so long. At that point, I decided to leave. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the manager came outside after me once I had already walked out and said the doctor was available and asked, "They didn't get you?" That honestly made the situation worse. If the doctor was available, why was I sitting alone in a room for 40 minutes with no communication? I understand doctors can run behind, but this wasn't simply about waiting. it was the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism, especially after paying for the consultation and driving 40 minutes to be there. I came here because I was seriously considering trusting this practice with my surgery. Unfortunately, my experience before I could even meet the doctor made me uncomfortable moving forward.

From the very beginning, he clearly explained the procedure, what to expect, and how the recovery process would look, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. I was discharged the same day as the surgery and was able to walk indoors right away. My recovery has been smooth -- by the second week, I was comfortably walking 5,000-6,000 steps a day and continue to recover well. I highly recommend Dr. Stone for his expertise, clarity, and excellent patient care.

The process was very straight forward, and the team were able to get me scheduled very quickly. After a quick exam and confirmation, surgery was scheduled. His team that I worked with at the office and the surgery center were amazing. I could not have asked for a more professional and caring group of individuals to help me through this time. Dr. Stone visited me just prior to the surgery and said a prayer for me with my family by my side. I've never once had a doctor say a prayer for me. Truly amazing and it helped with the nerves and anxiousness you get prior to a surgery. The event was successful, and everything went perfectly with minimal pain afterwards. I would highly recommend Dr. Stone if you have any roadblocks that are preventing you from living a healthy life.

After interviewing with several doctors, I wasn't happy with the rushed and impersonal interaction I had with them. My daughter, who resides in Dallas, suggested I go to the Nicholson Clinic. Their warm and wonderful bedside manner immediately put me at ease. I was treated like a person and not just a number. All of my many questions were thoroughly answered as well as having the whole surgical procedure explained to me in depth. My surgery was immediately scheduled. The process from start to finish has been handled with a great amount of care and I am so glad that I went with Dr. Watumull and team. During the consultation I felt like all of my areas of concern were addressed and taken seriously. I did not feel rush in any way to make an overall decision. I worked with Heidi who very thoughtfully discussed payment options and brainstormed with me on what would be best for my situation. It was refreshing to have this level of thoughtfulness. Leading up to the surgery I was well informed off all processes and was walked across the hallway to the surgery center for a quick introduction on top of the time spent in the office already. The day of surgery I had a fantastic team that made me feel comfortable and that my well-being was of most importance. Post-surgery I had all of the care instructions needed to be set up for success at home. I have had one post-op so far and another tomorrow.
