I was an implant patient and my experience was excellent. I would recommend to anyone needing this type of procedure.

I have been medicated for nerve pain since October 2025. I have tried acupuncture, myofacial therapy, and physical therapy. Nothing is making a difference, and now I am working with a neurologist through Penn to try and get help. Dr. Khanna wrote me off essentially telling me to deal with this pain forever. I went back to see her multiple times, and she was patronizing and dismissive. She knew before the surgery numbness was my concern. I was told numbness is very unlikely, and I was never told about nerve pain, tightness, and heaviness. When I've seen her after my surgery she has told me that my movements were significant which is more risky and why this likely happened. I don't understand why she didn't disclose this before surgery. She also never shared my measurements with me before surgery, which should have been a red flag. Again, avoid her at all costs. I also have a sharp piece of bone just sticking out of my gums now. A screw from my hardware is poking up under my eye. She wouldn't do anything to help with my concerns surrounding my hardware after surgery. Avoid Dr. Khanna at all costs!!!!

I had to get all 4 of my impacted…read moreteeth out (I'm in my late twenties), and I went to a total of three consultations before I settled on Dr. Chi. She was the oral surgeon that was the most qualified, and she walked me through the process, recovery time, as well as potential complications during my consultation. I scheduled an appointment, but unfortunately got sick a week before and wasn't sure if I should cancel. I called the office to ask, and they gave the message to Dr. Chi. She later called me at 6 pm that night to ask me about my symptoms and then rescheduled my appointment. Her MD and DMD provide her with a set of expertise that is rare for an oral surgeon. The entire surgery was over in about an hour, and I did not get any of the potential complications she mentioned during my consultation. She is highly skilled at what she does, she cares about her patients, and she takes the time to answer their questions. During Day 4, I thought I had a dry socket scare, and I called the office at 11 am. They scheduled me for 1 pm that same day. It turned out to not be dry socket, and instead just moderate pain that went away within a few days (a natural part of the recovery process). I didn't end up using any of the more intense painkillers she prescribed to me, but I did use a combination of Tylenol and ibuprofen which was enough for me during the recovery process. I spent a full two years looking for an oral surgeon that I could trust to remove all four wisdom teeth, and I'm glad I waited. I felt like Dr. Chi was attentive to my needs and was there if anything arose during the healing process.

I was a patient of Dr. Chi's from May '2023 thru December '24. I paid her $36,000 to provide a…read moresinus augmentation and then to place five implants in my upper jaw as part of an "All on Five" permanent denture. The denture portion was done by Dr. Bryan Katz at Corner Dentistry. Including Dr. Katz's $15,000 fee, the total cost was $51,000. Before I proceed with what I feel is a long but a necessary narrative to explain my poor review, I will say that Dr. Chi seems to be a fairly decent person, as is her staff. The office is bright and pleasant, and the facilities are clean. However, I had a very bad and upsetting experience with her. It began with suspect procedural decisions made at the start, that resulted in unnecessarily extending the duration of my procedure with resulting pain and suffering for myself. Dr. Chi typically offered very confusing and/or contradictory post-op instructions to what was provided in writing. I developed a very strong lack of confidence in the experience level and/or training of most of her very noticeably young staff. Dr. Chi's more than occasional confrontational tone was disturbing, and most upsetting...her near complete tone deafness for my frustration and upset. I also feel she has a pronounced lack of empathy or understanding of the perspective of the patient sitting in the chair. In my case, the implant that was placed in the synthetic bone (every other Oral Surgeon that I consulted with advised that they only use the patient's own bone as it is far less likely to reject the implant) did in fact fail. This was only found out after 14 months and mere weeks before Dr. Katz was to install the permanent denture device. At that appointment, which I assumed would take a few minutes, it ended up being a very painful, confusing and very upsetting two hours. After enduring that with no explanation as to why it was happening, Dr. Chi came into the examining room after reviewing the radiograph of my jaw. I assumed it would be a professional delivery of bad news. It was anything but. Dr. Chi came in and without acknowledging me, proceeded to run around the room, repeating "This never happens to me!!" and "I don't know why this happened!!!??". I was stunned, offended and very angry. To the point where when she stepped out, I asked the assistant if I was actually hearing and experiencing what I was. To add insult to injury, upon checking out, the office manager cavalierly told me that I needed to schedule an appointment to come back in for another round of placing bone and then placing the implant again. I was told with no empathy, no apology, that it would be another year. I never received an apology from anyone. I decided that I did not want to endure another 12 months and asked the team if it could work with the four implants that took. This turned out to be true and after a final check up with Dr. Chi, Dr. Katz installed the device in late December. Without asking, Dr. Katz provided me with an appropriate refund given the smaller device. I reviewed Dr. Chi's $36000 bill and concluded that a fair reimbursement to me would be $10,000, $7000 for the failed implant (the averaged cost of five) and $3000 for the first surgery for the synthetic build-up, which failed. I presented what I felt was this fair settlement to Dr. Chi, who did not agree with me and felt only that it was appropriate to offset any remaining balance I had by reducing it by $1600, cost of the failed implant. This was entirely not acceptable to me. I am not litigious, but $10,000 is not a small amount of money, nor is the $36000 I had paid Dr. Chi. I consulted with a lawyer who feels that should I pursue a lawsuit with Dr. Chi, I could reasonably expect to win the case, securing in the area of $200,000 in pain and suffering. I relayed this to Dr. Chi, and she still declined to do the right thing. At this point in my life, I don't imagine that I care enough about money to pursue a lawsuit. But what I can do is provide this scathing review and strongly advise anyone considering Dr. Chi to go elsewhere.

am very saddened and disappointed to have to write this review…read more I saw the Facebook ad and checked out the reviews which were phenomenal plus they provided service to my favorite ballers was an extra plus I figured!! They accepted my insurance and even provided a link for financing for which I was approved for !! I was very impressed with the staff and facilities, this was my dream place... What could go wrong??? Hadeer was very responsive to all my questions via email which meant a lot to me... I was a bit apprehensive about the cancellation policies which varies from a $100 to possible up to $8000 or more if you had to reschedule surgery within a month., I was still willing to take that gamble..however I had a persistent cough from mild controlled COPD and after checking with my Dr, he recommended I get clearance from pulmonologist. They were understanding at first but because I would be under twilight anesthesia for 7 or more hours this posed additional concerns... For instance about the anathesiologist and who would be monitoring me while I am under and even more importantly what kind of plan do they have in place if unforseen complications were to occur. It turns out they do not have a anesthesiologist on staff, never answered the question of if a dedicated and qualified staff member would watch over me and what plan do they in case of emergency... They just ghosted me and stopped taking my calls and responding to emails afterwards., I no longer hold them in high esteem, it's all about the money and prestige but I caution whoever go there for procedures like implants to due your due diligence and ask these hardball questions and note their response.... They did not have care or compassion to tell me I am not their ideal candidate, I would be writing a 5 star review instead. PROCEED with CAUTION or you may pay with your life or health...

Despite having a referral from my PCP on file, a paper referral from my dentist, insurance, and significant pain symptoms, I was told the doctor would not see me. Do not go here if you want compassionate care - they do not care. It seems the issue was that I did not have a paper copy of my referral form. This, as I explained, was an oversight due to other ongoing medical problems; I had left the referral at home. In the week before the consult, I also had another medical issue, resulting in my undergoing emergency surgery for a serious torsion. For the entire week prior to my appointment, I had been in bed recovering. The Monday of my appointment was my first day back in the office since the surgery. Realistically, I probably should have taken a few more days to rest, but because of the pain in my mouth, I wanted to get my extraction scheduled. Unfortunately, because of the pain, I opted to use a different backpack that better distributed the weight and was more comfortable to walk with post-op. I forgot that I had my paper referral tucked away in my usual backpack. Now, I realized I'd left this referral at home prior to my appointment. But I didn't think I'd be able to make it home in time, because of the aforementioned mobility issues after my surgery. So I tried calling the office to inquire what I should do, only to not get a response - the entire office was at lunch and not answering calls. Instead, I was directed to an answering service, and assured they'd call me back. Needless to say, they never did. Since I was in a lot of pain, I figured I'd go over anyways. I figured, it's literally just a consult, and I can send them the referral this afternoon. Plus, I had a referral on file from my PCP. But, apparently, none of this mattered. Rather than honoring my appointment, I was very rudely told that my ongoing pain was irrelevant, and that no one could see me for my consult without a paper copy of the referral. I tried explaining that I had a copy of the referral at home, and the reason I didn't have it with me, but to no avail. All I wanted was to get the surgery for my two impacted wisdom teeth scheduled. I had a PCP referral on record, and had the appointment scheduled for weeks. But now, I'm back at square one, still in pain, and wondering where I can go to get something resembling compassionate care. Because it certainly is NOT PAOMS. Tl;dr - if you want someone who actually cares about people, do not go to this office. They are uncaring and rude.

Leading up to the appointment, I received text reminders as well. For a small business, they are very tech savvy. During my checkup, Dr. Liu sat there and looked at every single one of my teeth with me, top to bottom, front to back, talking about the health status of each of them. His hygienists were booked up that day, and I guess I hadn't made it clear when scheduling that I wanted a cleaning. So instead of making me come in again separately, he did my cleaning himself. He said it wasn't something he usually did, but he wouldn't mind this time. For a doctor to not be beyond rolling up his sleeves and helping out with the grunt work when needed, to me, is representative of a truly good professional who has his patients on his mind. I really respect that. I'll be returning. Would highly recommend this place.

The day of his appointment comes and an hour and a half before the appointment, one of the receptionist girls calls and says they don't take HMO. Again... he signed up far in advanced. This was incredibly unprofessional and wasted my boyfriends time. They had PLENTY of time to get ahold of him and let them know of the situation. But day of? And so close to the appointment time? Totally rude. He could've found a dentist who does accept HMO and have had his appointment done and over with by now. So I've come to warn potential future patients of this dentist... THEY DO NOT ACCEPT HMO. To the staff... Perhaps you should put this kind of information on your website so you don't annoy and waste other people's time. So careless, even lazy perhaps? Get it together.
