I came to see Ragini on a whim one day after taking a hiatus from eyebrow threading due to some bad artists. I had been hoping to grow my brows in thicker so they could be re shaped in a fuller way than before. Ragini was very sweet and listened to my concerns before explaining that she specialized in reshaping eyebrows! I was really excited and hoped for the best. Well let's just say I got the best! I've come here two more times since then and the difference in my brows is so amazing! They are always so even now and filling them in is such a breeze because I can clearly see what shape they are and am better able to define them than I have ever been in the past. As if her skill alone wasn't fantastic, Ragini's customer service is off the charts. On just my second time coming she managed to remember my name and place of employment! I mentioned not knowing they were closed on Mondays and she asked if she could have my phone number so she could text me if her schedule ever changes so I won't show up and it's closed again. I couldn't believe it! I told everyone because I've never had customer service on this level before! She never cuts too much off and is just the sweetest person ever. This place is seriously a hidden gem. They take walk ins but its best to make an appointment. I 've heard bad things about this salon but I want to give it a try. I was going to take my boys for a quick haircut. It's convenient cause it's next to a market I shop at. I didn't have much time that day so I was willing to pay a little more just for a simple haircut. I called to check the price for men's haircut. She told me $16. Then I asked her "what about the boys?" She told me "we don't bargain over the price, this is not a market!" I was so mad I just hung up. I didn't bargain with her I just want to check the price since it was our first time. If she's good we will be going there from now on. She has bad customer service. I heard my co- worker said she won't greet you or do your hair if you don't dress nice. So here you will be judge on your appearance. Hello, there are a lot of hair salons around Riverside, why go somewhere who is rude and nasty? I was going to give it a try but I guess I'm not after all. No wonder her salon is not busy... She will go out of business soon because she doesn't treat her customers nice!!! read more

I am giving a neutral review because I'm not completely unhappy with the service but am not satisfied either. This was my first visit. I already had a short hair that just needed to be trimmed and evened out (trying to grow it out). Overall the haircut was ok, but I didn't do anything more than a basic trim so I can't really give an opinion on that. But the part that made me unhappy was that over the phone I was quoted a certain amount and later when it was time to pay, I was told it was $7 more than the anticipated amount. When I told Stephanie about the quote, she told me it was because she did the blow dry and style. That was ridiculous to me because I was never even asked if I wanted it. And the styling she did was as basic as it could get, running the hair straightener a few times on some of my short hair! I did think she was nice and did not want to make a big deal over $7 so I didn't argue. However, I don't think I'm coming back because sneaking in a service fee like that is definitely not appreciated. read more

I recently went to this Salon because I used to go here and couldn't remember why I stopped. I do now. I spent 2 years growing out my hair that she made completely yellow. She quoted me $150 over the phone, but charged me $175 for what was supposed to be a highlighted ash blonde. I came home with yellow-orange hair all over -no highlights, I went back to have her fix it and she blamed me and made it twice as bad, Now it is bright orange and I look like a clown. Dont ever ever go here. She also said mean things about my friends and the language barrier is a big obstacle. I told her please whatever you do dont give me yellow hair like before. She must have thought I said please give me orange hair instead of yellow. read more
