I spoke with Mare, who's amazing by the way, and she suggested I try Ashiatu massage. I had never heard the term before. "Ashi" means foot. Therefore, it's a barefoot massage that involves using bare feet to apply strokes, assisted stretching the muscles. It's freaking awesome. I'm totally weirded out by feet, but I needed this. It the room looks all BDSMish, but it's totally not. She uses drilled poles to steady herself. I was so apprehensive but excited at the same time. Mare's sweet disposition put me at ease. I really valued my experience because I didn't think about her bare feet. I was relieved and listened to the flute and waves. If you're open and want to try a different type of massage, then this is a viable option. Did I mention they take FSA/HSA, too? Check of their list if serves. It seems they have a host of great medspa offerings such as IV Hydration, Sauna, inferred, and salon services.

We knew it would take a couple sessions because it's almost impossible to go from cheap black dye to blonde in a single session. I ended up leaving my first appointment with a beautiful copper color and fell in love with it. I just stuck with it! Karlee is super nice and honestly a saint for putting up with me lol. I hope neither of us ever move because my hair is the best it's ever been and it looks gorgeous thanks to her! The salon itself is gorgeous and welcoming. The huge windows bring in a lot of light so when the weather is nice you really get to see how good your hair turned out.
