My wife and I recently moved up to Flagstaff from Phoenix. I struggled to find a new Dentist that I could trust. Thankfully, I found Dr. Stephanie Collins. Her entire staff are so professional and friendly. I broke one of my upper front teeth and she was able to save it with a crown. They have the newest technology in dentistry and the hygienist gave the best cleaning ever. The most important thing about Dr. Collins is when my wife fell and broke her arm on the day of having a scheduled appointment to replace her dentures. She couldn't make it in so Stephanie actually made a home visit exam and never charged us a penny. That showed me she really cares about her patients. Such an amazing experience. Everyone I encountered at this office was so kind and professional. I had not been to a dentist in a very long time, and I was a little embarrassed that it had been such long time. I was experiencing some pain in a molar, so I had to get some help. I was so lucky to have gone here. They got me in the day after initial contact and were able to schedule me for a filling the same week. Dr. Collins and her staff genuinely cared that I was experiencing pain. They diagnosed the cause of my dental issue within 30 minutes and explained how we could fix it. Most dentists in town don't even open on Fridays! Let alone Saturdays! That had me from the go... when I had a filling that came out, she was able to see me the same afternoon (as a new patient!) That's when I learned that Dr. Stephanie is absolutely great! So sweet and caring! I love that it is a small practice... very personalized attention! The staff is SO nice and always very caring. My kids no longer fear going to the dentist... they actually come out of there with huge smiles and feeling great (no gimmicky toys or stickers necessary). Dr. Collins was so great! I'm new to Flagstaff so I read the reviews and was not disappointed. I scheduled a cleaning with her office and the hygienist was great. I was very comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. I had a crown on my front tooth that was starting to discolor and she asked if I wanted it replaced. I'm terrified of needles so I was so pleased when she said she was going to do it without numbing. She did a beautiful job on my tooth and even called other people over to look and make sure that it was level and everything looked good! Stephanie has been my dentist for a couple years now. Every experience I've had shows her dedication and care for her patients. She's had me in on a Saturday when it was needed. She had my sleep apnea mouthguard remade to fit my new bridge, which by the way cost a lot less than the old one. I get my flouride treatments at her cost. When I asked her why, she said she'd rather have them available for everyone than make money on them. She is willing to take the time to talk about every aspect of my treatment, and will be my dentist as long as we are both in the same town. Dr. Collins definitely made me feel welcomed from my very first visit. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist so the calming, friendly, non-judgmental presence of Dr. Collins and her staff was definitely much appreciated. I recently underwent a dental surgery and I was terrified to say the least, but the techniques she used to calm my nervous were really soothing. And the fact that she even bothered to try to calm my nerves (instead of just rush through the procedure like most dentists have done in the past) was really really nice and I really do appreciate it. This review is written on behalf of my husband. He can't do this himself as a result of a brain tumor rupture in 2004. He has anxiety about going to ANY new doctor. After his first visit with Dr. Stephanie Collins, he insisted that even though he missed our dentist who retired, he wants to always go to Dr. Collins because "she made me feel safe and happy." His communications skills are somewhat limited but he was able to let me know how comfortable and confident she made him feel with her dental and "chair side" manner. What a great find! I was visiting Flagstaff from San Diego and I broke one of my front teeth. Dr. Collin's office got me in quickly and they fixed the tooth the next day - coming in at 7am to accommodate me! Everyone in the office was relaxed, friendly, and attentive in ways we don't often see anymore. Despite being busy with patients trying to make up for lost time due to COVID, She took the time to talk personally with me on the phone, and got me in literally within minutes of our phone call after hearing I was having pretty bad tooth pain.
