We moved from Las Vegas, NV to the Navajo Reservation in 2024. We've been coming here for almost 2 years now and strongly recommend this place. Great customer service. We're always greeted very kindly. They know my daughter and she's actually excited to see the dentist every time. She's 4 years old. So thier great with toddlers. My husband hates the dentist and says this is the best all around service he's ever gotten. I agree. This clinic boasts the BEST DENTIST & Staff I have EVER experienced in my almost 70 years of life. The VA sent me to see Dr. Hobson, and I am so pleased with the referral to this clinic, I'm actually excited to recommend this facility publicly and widely. Kyle Hobson and his crew are very efficient, friendly, easy to relate to and with. Sometimes, they seem almost psychic. They knew what was on my mind many times over the years, usually before I knew what services I both needed and wanted. At my age (advanced as is), I had yellowing, severely worn teeth. I was referred to this clinic to provide semiannual cleanings and any special services as the clinic requested and justified. I expressed my hope that my teeth could be replaced with something whiter and longer that what God had left in my mouth, if for no other reason than to allow for my cheeks to stop being chewed by my stubby teeth! One day, Dr. Hobson called me at home and asked if I would come in on Saturday to start the replacement process. "Sure!" I said. Thus, the process of measuring my jaws and gums began, and less than 4 weeks later, I had a new smile that I can't stop showing off. I could not be happier that I FINALLY discovered Hobson Dental Group. My first visit with Dr. Hobson was an emergency as I had an incredibly horrible toothache. I called multiple dentists, and no one got back to me except Dr. Hobson; he came in on a Saturday. Unfortunately, I did need a root canal but went straight back to him for the crown. He is always so friendly, as is ALL of the staff, and it is an overall wonderful environment. I had the same dentist for 20 years in Los Angeles and was quite fond of him. When I first got to Flagstaff, I did a yelp search and found Dr. Pasut, at Alpine Smiles, alas, I was not satisfied with the level of care I received. My experience at Alpine Smiles (based on her high ratings) led me to believe I would never find a dentist comparable to my previous dentist, one that could meet my expectations (which are simply to have a competent dentist, to be listened to regarding my concerns/dental issues, to have a really good cleaning every six months and of course, a friendly staff sure doesn't hurt). But I got all of that from Hobson Dental Group. Sincerely, it was such a relief. I highly recommend Hobson Dental Group, not only for the great environment, the knowledgeable dentist, the amazing techs, but also because they have a program for uninsured people (like me) where I paid a one time fee and then receive discounts for one year (not on cosmetic stuff, but on cleanings, x-rays, crowns...it is worth it). Great office! Dr. Hobson took his time to explain any treatment I needed by showing me photos/xrays and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I first went to the Freeman Dental group and was very impressed with the operation. They are now the Hobson Dental Group and still seem to be very good and efficient. I have had a crown and a deep cleaning done and it went well. Did have a problem with the Insurance co wanting some extra work done that would charge me more for the same work, they worked around it. I greatly appreciated that, since the money is a little tight right now. read more

New ownership from the previous Freeman Dental, Dr. Hobson and his staff are friendly and seem to be trying to get a new system going, but unfortunately, the dental work is sloppy and nothing compared to the previous dentist. I wish them the best, but won't be returning. read more

PATIENTS BEWARE. I would strongly advise against going to this dentist unless you are comfortable with work being done that you didn't ask for. Went in to get two cavities taken care of, one was in my peg lateral. In previous discussions I had said I had no interest in making any physical modifications to that tooth, and I had no problem with the way it looked. You can imagine my absolute shock when after the filling had been completed, they held a mirror up to my face and they had changed the tooth entirely. It had been shaved down and composite was used to build a tooth around it. There are two problems with this: 1) I did not in any way ask for this, and I was not told they would be doing that. 2) The composite doesn't match the color of the tooth, so now there is a bizarrely colored thing in my mouth that I had 0 intention of having. It was then explained to me if I wanted it to look normal, I would have to get a veneer, which costs about $2k. I contacted the office on Monday, 8/20 to talk to him about my discomfort with how this had happened. Instead of responding to my call, I got an email on Wednesday 8/22, AND a text message, telling me to schedule an appointment for veneers on FOUR of my front teeth. Needless to say, the practices and performance of this office has not only left a bad taste in my mouth, but also a terrible tooth that I did not ask for. "Sketchy" is not a strong enough word for how this all happened. The lack of respect, the complete lack of clarity regarding procedures, and a complete disregard for my consent to what was happening is deeply disturbing, and absolutely unacceptable. Do not seek care here unless you are emotionally and financially prepared to have no say or consent for what will happen in your mouth, and then be hounded down for more procedures and money after the fact. read more

My child's fillings all fell out and she was in great pain. One tooth got infected and had to be pulled because of the missing filling. All the work done here had to be redone elsewhere plus additional work to fix problems caused by the bad fillings. When I contacted the office the receptionist was nice enough but Dr. Freeman never contacted me to discuss the issue. I am frustrated with the pain my daughter went through and the amount of money we paid originally and how much we have to spend now to fix the problems caused by going here. read more
