When some boards that had been installed had some pre-existing issues that made them look bad, he didn't balk at all in tearing down those boards and re-installing some from the overage we ordered. On top of his great workmanship -- and strong work ethic -- Dean was simply a wonderful young man with which to work. Based on our experience, we'd highly recommend Punch List Handyman.

Everything was upfront with the quote we received within 24 hours. So easy to approve the quiet and set up the appointment for the repairs. We had two different repairs/replacements to be done and are very pleased with the outcome. Pricing was fair and Jim really listened to what we needed. We will definitely be utilizing their services again for small and larger remodel jobs. I feel confident in recommending to friends and family!

We first hired him back when he was known as "Steve Beam Handyman," and it's been amazing to see him grow and expand his services with the launch of Denver Remodels Inc. Over the years, Steve and his team have tackled everything from small repairs (like anchoring heavy drapery hardware into our finicky plaster walls) to major renovations (like restoring the exterior of our 1908 Craftsman). One of our favorite projects was transforming our mudroom by removing a wall and building a custom breakfast nook. This was a complex project, but Steve's expertise and creativity shone through. He even suggested a design element in the booth walls that perfectly complemented the Craftsman lines of our home - it's those little details that make a huge difference. What we think truly sets Steve apart is his incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and his consultative approach. He takes the time to truly understand your vision and offers expert guidance throughout the design process. Whether you're tackling a small project or a major renovation, Steve's deep knowledge and experience are on display with every project he does. He's always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and steer you in the right direction, ensuring that the final result is even better than you imagined. His team is equally fantastic - professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and truly exceptional remodeling experience in Denver, look no further than Steve Beam and Denver Remodels Inc. They're a standout and I'm so glad we found them.

I originally contacted Travis based on his reviews on Yelp. a source I have come to rely upon. I…read moreonly had a small job I thought, replace a bathroom type ceiling exhaust fan that was in the laundry room of the house I had just recently bought. A malfunctioning exhaust fan is an odd problem to handle because electricians don't want to deal with duct work or anything they consider HVAC and HVAC people want to work on/replace furnaces or air conditioners not exhaust fans. Through Yelp I found and contacted Travis at Handyman Plus. He made an appointment and showed up right on time. The "broken" exhaust fan was not actually broken it turns out, nor was the switch which seemed to do nothing. It's a type of continuous running whole house exhaust fan unlike anything I had seen before. The wall switch which appeared like it might be broken wasn't it's just the way this fan operates. Travis got me all the information I needed to look up this fan and learn how to use it. A few weeks later I had a medicine cabinet I wanted installed in our master bathroom. As the wall area to be opened also housed the electric line to an outlet I asked Tarvis to do the installation. Again this was a small job, not the scale of work sought by many people in an up economy. Travis made an appointment, texted me when he was on his way and did an excellent job installing my cabinet; without hitting the power line or electrocuting himself. I'm really pleased with the work but more pleased overall with Travis of Handyman Plus. He is professional, thorough, capable and resourceful. I would not hesitate to call him for much larger jobs.

I was very impressed with what has been one of the best handyman / home improvement experiences…read moreI've had during my fourteen years in Las Vegas, and some of the best customer service I've encountered anywhere. I needed to resurface two tub / showers in my 1956 apartment building. Jeff was prompt in generating his estimates, and reasonable in his bids. He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. He coordinated and scheduled the jobs directly with the tenants, and showed up to perform the work on time. The first project was tiling the shower and replacing much of the plumbing that supplies it. Due to very uneven wall angles, an unleveled existing tub, and several other unanticipated hurdles, the job took Jeff far longer than he'd planned. Yet he did a very professional job of it, never complained, or hinted at increasing the cost of the job due to these surprises and extra work. The tenants were as pleased as I was with their new shower, the quality of Jeff's work, and their entire experience during the upgrade. The second project was installing a fiberglass surround in another apartment. In this case, the materials that I'd purchased were not compatible with my old steel tub. This required a parts run to Lowe's to buy a new surround, and since he didn't have my receipt, a second trip back to Lowe's to meet me there and return the original surround. Of course none of this extra work or time were anticipated when Jeff bid the job, but to my surprise (and to Jeff's credit), he refused my offer to increase the payment for this job due to my error. What's more, since the new surround materials cost less than the original materials he'd planned, Jeff reduced the materials portion of his quote to reflect the difference. It's quite rare these days to find a handyman who merely honors his promises - much less one who does the professional work, and goes to the extraordinary lengths that Jeff Herrera has. He's now certainly at the top of my Rolodex.
