There was the same ugly top placed throughout the store. It is the type of store where you tell them what you are looking for and what size and they walk to a hanging section that feels unorganized and pull stuff out for you to try on. The woman who helped us started out very nice until she found out how much money my friend wanted to spend, around $150.00. They aparrantly don't have any dresses less than $225.00. My friend said that she wanted to try on some dresses. Aparantly the merchandise they carry is "European". The woman working said it several times. These were very plain dresses for how much they cost, there was nothing great about them. I am sure if you are willing to spend $$$ they would be really helpful but we felt like we got the brush-off. My friend's mom swears by this store and loves shopping here. I guess it depends on what kind of shopping experience you like. If you like to browse, forget it. You would get lost in the merchandise.

I am attending a wedding in November and planned on just wearing my old prom dress. From the moment I entered the store I was amazed at how beautiful all the gowns were! Yelitza immediately greeted me and went above and beyond helping me find beautiful options to wear. She was so kind and caring and really knew her stuff!!!!!! She assisted me with trying on 4 different dresses and I ended up going with the very first dress I tried on! It's funny because when I walked in the store she happen to have it in her hands putting it away! I instantly said hey that dress is beautiful and it happen to be my size and everything!!!! She even took photos of me in each gown so I could compare and contrast! Yelitza made my shopping experience extremely rewarding and fun! Today I had the privilege of dropping by to see Carol, the volunteer coordinator for The Perfect Fit in Allentown. Talbots was extremely generous in donating 10% off all transactions today to The Perfect Fit for Working Women (a program of the YWCA). The manager, Donna Barry, was so helpful and she is so incredibly "pro-community." Every single employee could not have been genuinely more kind. This says a lot, especially since the store is having a "30 percent off everything" sale.

The clothing was affordable because of a sale, but I personally would not pay full price for most of the items (e.g., $125 for casual pants). I arrived at the store about 10-15 minutes after opening time on a Monday morning, and there were 8-10 other shoppers present, likely due to the sale. No one greeted me initially, but eventually a salesperson asked if she could start a dressing room for me. I tried on quite a few items, and maybe 15 minutes later a salesperson asked if anyone in the dressing area needed help. Because there were other women trying on clothing while I was there, I asked another customer for feedback about how an item looked. I didn't mind doing this. However, if the store were less busy, perhaps a salesperson might have returned to the dressing room earlier and been able to offer the feedback herself.

I will say this she really should have asked her mom or I to go with her being she is young. She found a dress she wanted however it was to small at the top the zipper would not close by about 6 inches. Well one of the sales people told her a seamstress would be able to help with that. Now mind you my grand daughter believed this girl. I am not a seamstress bit worked most of my life in sewing factories and doing much home sewing. You can not are something that is to small and add to it unless you have the seam allowance and face it you don't have seam allowances that large. I called the store an asked to speak to the manager. I told her that my grand daughter and her friend were in and that I felt it was very poor for a store that wants to be reputable to mislead a young girl as was done. I was told there are no returns. Then the manager calls me a liar saying that her sales people never give names of seamstress. I point blank told her that someone gave the names they were written in handwriting that is not my grand daughters writing. H friend also vouched that the names were given by the sales girl. The manager the called me names and they were nasty she called me an F'in b_ tch. And preceded to hang up on me. I called back and told the manager that I wanted the name and number of her supervisor. She responded that she is the manager and there is no one above her and hung up on me again. I called the Willow Grove store and talked to a very nice and helpful woman. I explained to her what happened and she apologized for the staff at Lehigh Valley. The very nice woman gave me the phone number for corporate and apologized again. I will tell anyone to never shop the store at Lehigh Valley Mall. This stores staff is extremely unprofessional and needs a complete change.​
