Unlike many store these days, the staff knew their products and answered all my questions. She just called today (11/19) to see if they had come in yet and the guy didn't even send the order off! He said that he was waiting to see if they were going to get other Christmas orders and just send it off that way. So basically he lied to us (again) and we are most likely not going to get the boots before Christmas. This happened to us last year too. We ended up not getting the boots until 3 months later! This by far is the worst store ever! Poorly managed, employees lie to you, its just a big bunch of bs from these people. I recently purchased skis and bindings from Buckman's and was disappointed with the overall…read moreexperience. When I called ahead, the employee I spoke with couldn't answer my questions without repeatedly asking a colleague. They charge about $45 to mount the bindings (discounted from $115), even though both the skis and bindings were purchased there. In my experience, most shops mount bindings for free when both items are bought from them. The skis also had to be sent out (understandable) but then I would be paying for a service and unable to ski for about a week or so. I went to Blue Mountain and found their services to be cheaper and faster. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable--unlike my experience at Buckman's. I'll be going there from now on.
