Such a lovely lovely job. I wanted a banner for my son's birthday so everyone could find us easily and just to step up the look of his party. The quality of work is top notch and everything is delivered as promised. For media wall build outs the installation team is quick and response. Highly recommend the black fabric instead of the normal white vinyl you see for most red carpets. I LOVE this place. Mind you I've never been off the road in this direction, so the drive was interesting. But the neighborhood is super cute! You'd never think there was a warehouse styled business in this neighborhood, so WATCH CLOSE for the cute sign that says "Step and Repeat LA" with an arrow to the back. You drive up the driveway and you run into Johnny Deep. LOL Or at least I did. Well. A life size cowboy cut out version of him (good enough for me LOL). There's looks to be 2 storages with goodies with one being a HUGE barnstyle warehouse. I went on a Friday to pick up my stanchions and velvet ropes. The front desk was super nice (loved him) and there's even a Step and Repeat for you to take picture on inside the office. A BONUS is there's a small fridge with drinks for you, snacks and branded swag for you! Perrier? Dont mind if I do. The staff loaded the items into my car. Easy peasy. I returned on Saturday Had to do some poking around and yelling to run into someone to find me the front desk guy. Was a different person than during the week. He was up in the Barn Warehouse office (it sits up high). I also had to unload the items myself, not so exciting. Not painstaking but after my event, I have very fancy nails I'd already broke one handling the Stanchions upon set up.. I wasn't losing another one. Product: Lighting for step-and-repeat. I created a DIY photobooth for a big birthday bash and needed the S&R to remain lit after the lights dimmed for dancing. The two lights worked out Perfectly! Both lights fit in one large rolling case, included extension cords & they threw in some gaff tape!!! ($50/ea) Location: Residential area - you'll just need to pay extra attention. They have signs on the property so it's helpful once you spot them. Staff: Greeted with big ol' smiles! The boys that helped me (Adam, CJ, Corey) were FANTASTIC (and cuties)-- I'm not just saying that because they offered me a slice of pizza when I got there around lunch time! Step and Repeat LA is our go-to backdrop service. I work o a lot of event signage with my company and we've tried other providers in the past. None of them measure up to S&R LA. We've been using them for 2 years now and have ever had an issue. Their service is extremely friendly, helpful, and speedy. They make sure things get done right, and I always feel better when I know my product is in their hands. The products are definitely high quality and priced right. If you plan to order them, keep in mind that 'you get what you pay for.' I'm not saying that the cheaper products that they own ARE cheaper -- I'm saying that the fabric is exactly that. We ordered both the cheaper fabric for our step and repeat, and also ordered a nicer fabric. We were much happier with the nicer fabric. But of course, that's only helpful when the budget permits. We didn't have a problem with the cheaper fabric. We just preferred the nicer one. :) Overall, we will certainly go back to Step and Repeat LA for our future step & repeats. I love this place. By the way, if you ever go to their actual location it's complete good vibes. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and informative, they help you to get the best deals possible. They even have reading books that you could borrow at the front of the yard (random & fun)! I got an 8 x 8 with rope stands and the lighting, the whole deal. I was doing a screening for some studios in North Hollywood and I really want to make a big scene and show that we were professional. With Step and Repeat LA we were able to do that. They literally stopped traffic with how great it looked, and they also made a little poster for us for a little extra on an easel. I worked mostly with Ben on my most recent step and repeat order, but the 5-star experience also includes exceptional customer service by the online representatives. When making a decision on whether I should go with the standard matte vinyl or polyester fabric, I asked A LOT of questions. The online experts were able to answer my questions and advise what fabric and setup was best based on the artwork. The polyester is going to be the most glare-resistant, which was most important for me in ordering this step and repeat. Though the matte vinyl still does a great job when properly lit, the poly backdrop usually gives us the look we love and prefer. After submitting the order online, I called Ben to confirm a few shipping details, and he gladly assisted me and made me feel comfortable that the order was in good hands. The artwork proof was sent over to me that same afternoon and the step and repeat shipped out just a few days later. The print quality was great, and the telescopic stand and carrying case all arrive in perfect condition. This was the quickest standard turnaround time I've ever seen!
