I don't particularly love how wedding photo booths tend to get cheesy with props and design, so Hashtag Photobooth provided the perfect service for us. They were classy, beautiful, and efficient! We chose the B&W SkinGlow Booth so that our guests could enjoy printed photos for use outside of our wedding day. The SkinGlow adds a skin-softening filter that made our guests' faces look flawless! The communication with the team was very easy over email, and we agreed on 4-hour service time with a travel fee of $150 (to San Clemente). It was one of the easiest vendors to book for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, our attendant was super helpful and helped print enough copies for each group and was quick to resolve any issues with the front-facing screen. I started early, attended several weddings and took enough business cards from every photobooth to know the range I would be spending. At this point, I have 4 business cards and 5 referrals but I wasnt feeling any of them in terms of quality or price. It was always one or the other. I came upon Hashtag Photobooth while looking through yelp and saw some of their stuff online. I loved their quality and immediately thought they'd be out of my price range. Eh. What did I have to lose? Michelle got back to me right away and I was surprised that her prices were actually lower than every open air photobooth quote I received for the exact same services. I'd be an idiot not to sign the contract on the spot. So I did. A month before the wedding, Michelle emailed me the details and set up questionnaire. She sent the final template about a week before the wedding and by then I'm just a wreck. I can't make up my mind about anything and second guessing every decision. Michelle was super patient with me, always replying back to my emails right away, even the ones i'd send close to midnight. Super cool! Not so with HTPB - their prints are crisp, clear, and perfect! We used one of the backdrops they offer, a mint chevron print that went perfect with our wedding colors, and then submitted our own graphic to show up at the bottom of the print. The open air booth allowed big groups to take pictures, and they provided a little stool, which let our guests' little ones to get in on the pictures too! I initially experienced the awesomeness that is Hashtag photobooth at a local charity event and immediately noticed the many ways their booth was better than most of the run-of-the-mill, played out photobooths out there. For starters, they have an open-air setup so you're not limited to a confined space; you can virtually create as much space as needed to fit your whole crew. Secondly, their machine is very state-of-the-art and has an option to create animated gifs. I don't know about you but I love gifs, especially in our meme driven online worlds. I was planning a 400 person NYE party at a Hollywood lounge and I decided to hire a photobooth only 3 days before the event. I called around and of course everybody was overcharging like crazy but when I finally tracked down the info for hashtag, Michelle responded to me very quickly and courteously. From the get go she gave me the best price and I instantly knew she was legit because she wasn't giving me an inflated NYE price but the actual price.
