Caramel macchiato was amazing. And the atmosphere is relaxing. Didn't try any of the pastries, but they looked good.

They close at 5:00 but shut down their registers at 4:00. I showed up to puchase and when i handed cash i was told they already closed their drawer so credit or debit only. Why would any business stop taking cash an hour before they close? I don't know when they stopped taking cash becuase i showed at 4:00 and they already were not taking cash. Good thing there is a Starbucks the next block down. I won't be visiting Stella Nova again. read more

I was in town to meet up with some friends. This place is my favorite cafe. I was here about 2 years ago and loved my latte and the breakfast sandwiches were good; which is why I came back again. The parking is a little odd, especially the side facing 7-eleven. You can't go around by driving toward the back so you have to drive back out from the front. If you park on the right where the drive thru is, the way you have to back out, you have to flip all the way around to get out. It's especially tough if the line to the drive thru is long bc you'd be stuck there for a while if no one lets you out. Aside from the parking lot, the service is great, it's clean, and the coffee is great. I always order a vanilla latte and it's always good. Obviously, it was good enough for me to come back 2 years later! read more

I'd like to give a 3.5 star rating, but I'll do 4 to be generous. We ordered the bacon egg and cheese English muffin, the chicken and waffle, the Tonga chicken wrap, a chocolate muffin, and lemonades. The English muffin sandwich tasted like it looked- boring, but edible. My son did not finish it. The chicken and waffle sandwich was good, but a little on the small side. It was 2 tiny waffles with the chicken in the middle to make a little sandwich. The tinga chicken was the best sandwich, but didn't have much chicken in it. The chocolate muffin had dark chocolate chip in it and was surprisingly tasty and moist. Overall, we had a good experience. read more

Great coffee and tea offerings, and possibly the same menu items that they have at the location on Western Avenue. So, I went through and asked if they have "pre-sweetened" Matcha powder or actual matcha and they said they did not pre-sweeten their matcha, they add some kind of sugar but they don't have to. Well...it is definitely a cheap pre-sweetened "matcha" and it tastes absolutely horrible. It's like the fake cheap supposed matcha that you get. Secondly, I ordered a "banana bread"...which was an actual abomination. This is no better than the gas station "banana bread" that you get at Caseys or whereever where it is cake that is dyed yellow and there is, without a doubt, absolutely NO banana that came anywhere near it..it's fake banana flavoring on a disgusting cake. Just because they have fancy name doesn't mean anything, it's gross. read more

It's a new chain coffee shop, that won't give Starbucks a run for their money anytime soon. I've been twice now, and I can say that the coffee drinks are Soso, that much better than what you would make it home. The chicken and waffles, which was a chicken sausage patty, was OK. The blueberry scone was so so I've had better. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was actually pretty decent although you didn't get much bacon for the cost. Last the egg bites were definitely packaged egg bites that you could taste were pre-prepared and full of preservatives, and definitely not better than Starbucks. With so many offerings in Oklahoma City for coffee/breakfast stops. This is one that I will probably pass on in the future. read more

Ever since moving to Oklahoma City I have loved trying out all of the coffee shops and Stella Nova is one that I go to often. It's the perfect place to read a book, work out of the office or do some homework. I love their cold brew and iced coffee. In the summer it's fun to treat myself to a caramel frappé or one of their lemonades! They have great baked goodies that pair perfectly with coffee. The employees are always kind and helpful with suggestions. They know that people are in and out quickly before of all of the office buildings so they are quick but efficient. Quaint little coffee shop, placed right in the middle of downtown. They've got a big selection of pastries from Uptown Grocery. My favorite is the spinach egg pastry. Their coffee beans are also local, sometimes from Tulsa roasters like Cirque and Topeca. The shop is surrounded by windows and has a lot of outlets with comfy chairs. The downside of the windows is that it can get quite chilly during the cold days. Parking is pretty difficult, so you're better off walking to the coffee shop. read more

Strong coffee and tea shop in a great location downtown, right on the corner of Robinson and Park. This place is steady throughout the day, but obviously busier in the morning during the initial caffeine rush. The prices are in line with what you'd expect from a place like this. Coffee and tea ain't cheap (an extra large black iced tea is $4.07 after tax) but it's above average and you pay for quality. I've had a couple of food items in addition to drink orders. The chocolate chunk cookies are good and conveniently placed by the registers for impulse buys. The yogurt parfait is also good but not a great serving size. The breakfast sandwiches are also good, but note that most stuff here is microwaved. So, if that's not to your liking I'd check elsewhere. The employees are friendly and in my experience the place is always clean, even during high traffic times. Your no-caffeine and non dairy options are slim. There are no gluten free pastry options. Its like a Starbucks, but you are supporting a local business instead of a big corporation. They offer a lot of the same beverage items with their own swing on things. They also have a pastry case with sweet and savory pastries. I have gotten the strawberry Italian soda with coconut or almond milk each time. The downside is that all of their frappuccino beverages contain some dairy and they don't have a way around that. The last time I went, my pastry was forgotten and it took a while to wait to be able to ask the second person for it. I ordered a pastry at a meeting and I didn't receive it for an hour. I asked for it from the woman behind the counter at the drive up window and she said I would have to wait for the counter person to come back. So this was a great place. I am a daily patron. Usually I order a large americano with two extra shots. That lasts me until about three. I microwave it. I keep it. It keeps me from making coffee all day. Whatever. I shouldn't have to explain. Today I'm dragging a bit and ordered a large americano with 3 extra shots of espresso. I was told that it is illegal to sell me that much espresso at once. However they can sell me two extra shots in two separate containers. So, my way is 6 dollars. Their way is 8 dollars. Are they really looking out for me? I won't be back. My family won't be back. I helped sing their praises. Now they are sad. Upselljng and long lines are the norm. I was willing to put up with it. But limiting shots of espresso is not genuine. I could buy ten cups. I could buy a hundred cups. As long as they are separate that is fine. Three in a cup is illegal! Illegal. That is what they said. Our state isn't sad enough, now visitors will be told its illegal. Sugar is next. Then bread. Then nutmeg. Have we become so regulated that now we are having this dictated to us? My next call is to the State Espresso regulatory commission. I'm guessing that doesn't exist. PS they took my money. Then they wanted me to pull forward. I left. Twenty minutes to wait is too long. It seems every time I'm greeted with the same dismissive attitudes. I understand this location can get quite busy, but there's no excuse for treating a paying customer poorly. This is my first trip to any Stella Nova; as I understand there are now 3 in the OKC metro. I had a great experience. The staff was all friendly and made me feel like a regular. Service was quick as well. I had a blueberry scone, which was phenomenal; definitely one of the best scones I've ever eaten. It was $2.75, so a fair price. I also had an americano with white chocolate syrup. Another great option. The espresso was smooth and flavorful and the syrup was flavorful, but not overwhelmingly sugary. Medium espresso was $3.20, plus syrup totaled $3.80. Definitely a great new option for your downtown coffee and breakfast fix! read more
