Stella has so many great qualities I'm not even sure where to start. They have, easily, the best barbecue chicken pizza I have ever had. We had to order extra just to make sure that we had plenty to eat as leftovers. Their sangria (sold by the pitcher) is amazing. The decor and ambiance of the entire restaurant is beautiful, romantic, and welcoming. We visited on a Friday night and made a reservation, thinking it would be busy but it really wasn't. There were plenty of people but we were still able to have a pleasant, quiet meal and would have been able to get a table without a problem. It was different...definitely a must try! Our server was very nice and Covid-conscious but he was all over the place. He forgot our requested ranch, he took longer then expected refilling drinks, and at the end he brought our bill and forgot to bring the point of sale Machine to charge us with credit card, he once had to leave again to go get it. POOR MANAGEMENT!! We went here last night for a night out with my boyfriend. We live in the Valle de Guadalupe (30 min drive) so we called prior to make sure that they were open and to ask when they closed. The woman told us 8pm (Monday) We showed up at about 7:25 and the place was packed. I was excited to try something new. Disappointedly, The woman at the host stand told us that we could only get food to go! We explained that we called prior to make sure and asked to speak to a manager. She said she was the manager. Bad service, spaghetti was OVERLY salty. Three of had the spaghetti bolanse and they refused to remedy the situation..they took the food back and still charged us. We decided to give Stella a try because of the recommendation from our bartender at Hotel Coral. We took an Uber as it was a little out of the way. We arrived at 8:00 pm. The setting is beautiful. There was one other couple who looked like they were trying to have a nice date. There were two larger groups of about 8 people each. Each group had 2-3 kids. One group had 2 kids who were probably 4 years old. These kids were running around the restaurant yelling and chasing each other. Then one of the parents got up and started chasing the kids around, for fun! None of the parents did a thing except ENCOURAGE THESE LITTLE BRATS. My husband and I ordered wine, which came out quickly with some delicious bread. The young server was very nice, and I got to practice my (bad) Spanish which was cool. The kids were still yelling and running past us. We ordered dinner. By now it's 8:30. We asked another server to please say something to the parents to quiet their kids. This is a nice restaurant and we're trying to have a nice meal at 8:30 pm! The server said he can't do anything about it! So then my husband stood up and, in Spanish, asked the parents to quiet the kids. All we got were dirty looks. We finished our wine and paid for the wine and informed the server we were leaving. The owner, a lady, followed us and informed us that she could not to anything about the kids running and yelling. She said"It's not like I can ask them to leave." WHAT!?! IT'S YOUR RESTAURANT! OF COURSE YOU CAN... Horrible service. Clearly since we are the Gringos, we get treated like crap at Stellas. So, if you are a Gringo and want a date at a nice restaurant later at night, go elsewhere. read more

Nice guy greets you to park your vehicle. It's all downhill after that. Understaffed so you must be very patient. Inside dining booked so we were offered a heater to sit outside. After some time a waiter came by to move the heater away. When asked why the "lady in charge" said they were short on heaters and had to use it to share with another table. WHAT? She said it wasn't her who offered the heater and just had a terrible attitude and got upset in a heartbeat. I just can't believe the owner would put up with someone like that! NEVER GOING BACK. Stellas was great and definitely recommend if you're in the area. They have a parking lot on the restaurant property which made parking an ease. They also have indoor and outdoor seating options. The decor was really nice and added a good ambiance. This place takes Covid precautions seriously and there was plenty of social distancing for indoor dining. We had the Cesar salad, which was great, lettuce was fresh and dressing was well seasoned. We also tried the tuna sashimi which was also good. For the main course, I had a New York steak, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. It also came with potatoes which were also delicious. My fiancé had the sea food pasta which was a bit bland but she still enjoyed it. Lastly, I had a glass of the Tempranillo which was great as well.
