Having owned countless vehicles I do consider myself quite an expert on car sales transactions. From friends to strangers. Private sales to car dealerships, The worst has to be the dealership, I've been burned with bad cars. I've been screwed by financing, Becoming a dad meant no more muscle cars or vehicles I like. Practical it shall be. But my Astro van is starting to be a money pit and I refuse one more repair. I went online and found McManus who said they didn't care about my bad credit (575) just as long as I was employed and had steady residence they wanted to help me with my future credit (I'm in sales... that's a great line.) I called. Got Pre-approved with out them running a credit check. Could be due to CreditKarma. I wrote down all the cars I was interested in at the Wheat Ridge lot and went to check them out. Some cars weren't there... they switch cars to there other Golden location and some sell before they update their website which is understandable. I walked into the lot. Checked out ALL the cars that were there. 12ish. Sat in everyone of them and knew the price from the web site. Was not hassled by a sales person at all. Made up my mind and headed inside, I met the owner who simply asked my which one did I want. I said I liked the Mini Cooper but it was at the high end of my pricing. He said he wanted me to drive out with the car I wanted not the one I settled on. He gave me a generous trade in value for my van. worked with me on the monthly payments until we had come into my monthly ballpark and the entire transaction lasted 30 minutes and I drove out with a 2006 MiniCooper... Happy. My experience was amazing and I've told all my friends and now you. Thank you Mr McManus,

He let me test drive almost every car on the lot with no problem at all , I believe he was honest with me 100% when he answered my questions bout each vehicle .He worked with me in every way possible to make sure I drove off in the one I wanted to fit my budget. He's even going to replace the windshield for me. I had no issues with nobody being there to help me or being closed .The owner himself helped me and he couldn't of done it better. My personal opinion is everyone that thought they were actually doing something when posting their bad reviews , my 1 good one and I know I'm not the only one out there makes all the negative ones just look silly. They had put in new fuel pump and fuel pump control module. The warning light came on repeatedly after I got it back (same day!. I brought it back and after looking at it again, they texted me it'd cost $2k to fix the same problem I reported the first time, this time by replacing the fan assembly. After I declined that repair (through the text # I'd been using with them), I couldn't get a response about getting my car back. This was 3:30 on a weekday. I called multiple numbers until someone finally told me my rep had to leave for a medical issue. When I went in to pick up the car, I told the dept service manager that I hoped the rep would be okay. He looked at me funny and told me he had a dental appt. So they made no arrangements to have any one cover his customers and answer their calls/texts and release their cars. This was the second time I brought a car there for repair and had to bring it back for another fix. Never again.

A week ago today the head gasket blew again...I'm a mechanic so I pulled the vehicle apart and found the heads had not been machined and were instead wire brushed (huge no-no). I also found the rear spark plugs (while annoying to replace) looked like they haven't been touched since the car rolled off the line. The electrode was completely gone despite the front plugs being in decent condition. I suspect they replaced the fronts because they are much easier and called it good. Overall poor work done on the vehicle and had I known that "head gaskets just replaced" meant we did nothing but replace the gaskets, I wouldn't have bought the car. Save your future self a headache (and maybe a new car) and don't buy from Primera.
