ZERO! Wow, I don't even know where to start! I just read the review from Norma L and couldn't help but feel her pain. I went in for crown and bridge work in the top front. At first I thought he knew what he was doing, after he had pulled one, and ground down the others, and put on a temporary bridge. But I soon found out he doesn't! Then came the most horrible pain I have ever known. He used some kind of hammer to beat the temporary off - I was crying so hard I could hardly breathe. I have no idea how long it took, but I can tell you it took at least 20-30 minutes. Surely there is a more humane way to remove a temporary. After he got through with that, he brought out my "new" teeth. At first glance I hated them but he had all of his peanut gang standing around telling me how beautiful they were. They look like teeth all lined up in a row glued together and much bigger than my normal teeth. He changed my whole bite in doing this. They overhang my lower teeth - he said they are supposed to - however, WE THE PATIENT should have a say so in how they look. Not so, after beating on my teeth and me crying my eyes out in pain he sets them all in there and said you have to tell me now because if I glue these in there we can't get them off. He kept walking around waiting for me to make a decision - like hurry, hurry, hurry. Honest to God, I thought I was dying! So I said ok like an idiot. He glued them in and I immediately left.
Now, the rest of the story. None of the crowns completely cover the tooth, under the bridge is hole that he said would be covered up - but not, every tooth under that bridge/crown area hurts 24/7 from hot air, cold air, & all foods. I think all that beating caused cracks in my teeth, now my lower partial does not fit properly, and the change in the alignment makes my jowl bones hurt. I am so ashamed of these big horse teeth I don't want to go out in public. I discussed all of these things with him and he had an excuse for every item. I am on social security, I spent most of my savings to get this work done. I would not send my dog to him and I certainly would NEVER go back to have him re-do any of this work. Why would any dentist make such a radical change in the mouth of a 72 year old woman? I honest to God thought my teeth were going to look just like my original teeth which were small, did not protrude like these and my jowls did not hurt or I would NEVER have had this work done. He told me they were supposed to overhang the bottom. I don't care if they are, anyone in their right mind would not change the bite of an older woman. I just wish with every breath I take that I had never walked through his doors. read more
