They responded in less than a day to my request, gave me their availability and price for a service call, and were out within the same week. Both of the men who came to look at our concern were prompt and very good at explaining their diagnosis of the issue. Thankfully, it was a simple fix. But after this visit, I would be happy to call them for any future plumbing needs! Thank you for being honest businessmen and hope others will give you a call next time they need a plumber!

I called several plumbers, and Advantage was the only business that provided us with an estimate of the work's cost. The others all wanted to come see the job, provide a quote, and then we could decide to accept their proposal or send them walking. I wasn't looking for a firm quote; I just wanted an idea. Hugh from Advantage was polite, neat, and very efficient. The total cost was reasonable and lower than we had experienced with other plumbers for comparable work.

I had a great experience with Advantage Plumbing…read more Through Yelp, I requested help for a toilet and shut valve replacement. (The toilet has been having intermittent issues and needs replacement.) They immediately connected with me and offered to come out the same day (but I still had not gotten the new toilet.) We scheduled for the day after, and they were here by the promised time. The team quickly removed their shoes at the front door without being asked (not my general experience with many repair teams) and started working. They finished almost precisely at 90 minutes despite a minor complication. (The basement/toilet drain was not draining well which they augered out.) It was explained to me that it was likely a combination of time and a 20-year-old toilet (which did not generate enough force). Other than minimal dust and grime, they did not leave any bigger messes for me to clean up. They were professional, and their price was well aligned with other companies. They did not sell me on any additional service plans but did guarantee their service for a year. (There is a 4% for credit card transactions.)

Major Drain has been out to our house several times over the years, and have always been quick to respond and always reasonably priced. Meeting Matt today was an added bonus. Nobody wants sewer problems, but Major Drain will be the one I call when it happens again.

They immediately tried to upsell us. A friend recommended Major Drain who was very open and honest and told us exactly what we needed, what we didn't need, and what our fees were going to be right upfront. The two gentlemen that came and installed everything were extremely professional and friendly and very helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Major Drain and will definitely use them again in the future. It is my understanding that Major Drain technicians do not work on commission so they are there because they want to be and to do a job which is very refreshing in today's age. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would!!! Thank you Major Drain!

They gave us a very fair price for a new 50 gallon gas water heater. After looking them up and reading others reviews, we decided to use them. Easy choice actually. I requested the service in the late evening through Yelp and got a response in 17 minutes to schedule it. They had an opening the following morning, starting at 8, which we took. Three minutes later, multiple confirmations via text and email were sent to verify that the address and time selected were correct. The plumber arrived about 45 minutes after the time window opened. We asked for shoe covers, which he put on. (That has not been our experience, even when we insist.) He confirmed our suspicion that the tank needed to be replaced. After a brief outing, he came back with parts. Our original estimate was $379, but there needed to be a support bracket, which he strongly recommended that he add. (Our old one was hanging unassisted parallel to the ground.) The final total was under $500, including tax. Other than some crumbs of pipe dope, there was no mess. So far, everything is working well. After four days, there have been no leaks and no other effects on our household that we can tell.
