Surprised to see so many bad reviews as I came here after getting service and not before. Glad I didn't look at this before or I may not have selected them. Like some others on here, I found out about this company though ValuPak and had seen some trucks around my neighborhood. Other than that, I had no intel on them whatsoever. I gave them a call and immediately got through. The receptionist was very helpful and even scheduled a Sunday appointment (late on a Friday) as I explained to her we had relatives coming in from out of town and I needed the work done soon. She was beyond friendly, accommodating and helpful. As promised, my technicians called up 30 minutes ahead of schedule and were courteous, professional and thorough. They gave me a four house window and were there literally (to the minute) on the front-end of my appointment time. Jesse H. (and I didn't get the other gentleman's name) explained everything in detail, gave me all the optional upgrades and didn't try and "hard sell" me on anything I didn't want. I ended up adding some services that I initially hadn't planned on and I am glad I did. Jesse and his co-worker did an outstanding job on my tile, grout, area rugs and upstairs carpeting. They didn't rush, they didn't goof around and they always asked me to check around to make sure I was happy. They showed me the "waste tank" when they arrived (it was empty) and then showed me the water as they drained the tank after both my tile cleaning and carpet cleaning. I could see how much debris / dirt they had collected. They worked hard to remove a few pet stains, on an area rug, and were forthright and upfront that set-in stains may not come out. They put extra 'elbow grease' in on those areas and they are both markedly better. I even noticed a few areas, on the grout, that needed a little extra work and without so much as a moment of hesitation they hit the areas again and took care of it all while making sure I was satisfied. This is a warning to anyone considering this company, STAY AWAY! My father is 80 years old and found this company because he wanted to improve the air quality in his home for my mom who has asthma. The technicians came out and performed the work without ever providing a price, estimate, or range of costs. There was no written estimate, no verbal estimate, and nothing for him to approve before work began. After the job was completed, they presented him with an invoice totaling almost $7,000! The invoice consisted of extremely vague line items including deodorizing, sanitizing, antibacterial treatment, mold control, and installation of a UV light. No mold was ever shown. No photos were provided. No test results were provided. No explanation was given as to why any of these services were necessary or why they cost what they did. At no point was my father informed that the work being performed would result in a bill anywhere near this amount. He paid because he was shocked, overwhelmed, and did not want a confrontation in his own home. This is straight up elder financial abuse and a GIGANTIC SCAM. Called for the 99.00 vent cleaning, then found out that it was 195 to clean the coil, 195 to clean the plenum box, then 295 for mold control, etc.etc.... 1700.00 later, it's done. Had a $188 10 vent, dryer vent cleaning coupon. Shocker - two systems, so now it's $366 minimum. Ok sure we'll play along with the bait and switch. Before numbers were even talked about, the work was beginning so you couldn't deny service. David claimed to have a photo of mold in the unit, but never once did I see anyone go into the attic to acquire a photo so i don't know if that was true. 10 minutes after arrival I'm presented with a $5,808 bill to clean and sanitize everything. Following up on my review dated Feb. 22, 2025: I've talked to an attorney. He told me that what they did in my case was considered elder abuse and financial exploitation of an elder person. He recommended that I file a Complaint with the Texas Attorney General's office, and also with my local Police department. I am a 73-year old woman and I was alone with this "David" person. He was extremely intimidating and arrogant. I'm very embarrassed over this matter but he kept demanding that I give him my credit card "now". David, the owner, offered me $800 to remove the review below. He claims he checked the invoice for cleaning the ac returns, but cleaned something else. I asked a written list of what he did clean. I have not received a response. He said a negative review won't hurt his business. The owner, David, quoted $700 or $750 to clean all of my ac vents, and he knew there was mold in the downstairs vents. He proceeded to clean the ac return air in charge $1992 for the two units that did not need to be cleaned at all. Hey, then added UV lights to each unit and charge $700 per light. The total bill at the end of the day was $6100 included warranty charges that I didn't even know about. Completely my fault for not reading the Yelp reviews first. I read them after I had made my appointment and though "hey, they can't be THAT bad". Well I was wrong! The man who came in didn't even know what to charge he kept asking me what I was "quoted" over the phone. I told him I had a coupon and I knew more than 10 vents would be additional. But he asked me again what I was quoted. I showed him the area I wanted steam cleaned. He didn't pay attention and missed the major area I needed clean. Then he asked me which cleaning service I wanted. Apparently there are 2; the one where they pour hot water on your floor for 0.70 a square foot and I guess the one that actually cleans is $1.40 a square foot. I was quoted a time between 1pm and 5pm and got a call at 10:20am asking if they could come earlier. Which is fine. But now I know why they had so much time on their hands. Almost as soon as David and his team arrived & had a look in the vents, he said that we had black mold & that's where the nightmare started. The cost went from $100 to $2000 to treat the so-called mold which I later found out, wasn't even mold, but mildew (see pic) - quite normal & easier to treat. The service was performed on 7/19/2021. They have the $77 promo for 10 vents, and my 71-year-old mom lives in a condo, so it is less than 10 vents. So she decides to call and give it a try. Since her air ducts had mold issue, it was expected to cost more, but guess how much it cost at the end....? $7000! You read it right seven thousand dollars. So I am not sure if this is common, but for less than 10 vents, 1 intake, and some demolding, is it really suppose to cost $7000? They only bring in a bristle with a small vacuum tube, hooked back to the car, unlike the big one you saw on youtube. They did climb up to the attic and did some duct work cleaning, and supposedly removed a lot of molds. Then they did spay some chemicals on the ductwork. So I think they did a good job on cleaning, but my question is.... Is it worth $7000? No! And they also did a poor job after cleaning the dut, there are dust and mold on the ground everywhere.... we ask them to clean up, they said they already clean it. He took a picture of the duct and immediately said that it was all pretty bad. While he was distracting me, his peers started to "work" and then he handed me a bill of U$5K. I was shocked, he noticed I didn't have that money and he took advantage that I had a call from work and needed to leave. Do not use this company. At first he tried to upsell me for $2000 for work that was supposed to be for $88. Then i agree to pay $350 to get all the work done because he was already there. They did a very poor job, leaving my walls stained and debris all over my floors. I realized after the fact that they did not clean my high vents, and only cleaned one air duct. And while the workers were in my house, their boss was outside not checking on the work being done. No wonder the work was not done properly. I had them come out to clean my dryer vents. When they moved my dryer they tore up the transition piece on my laminate floors and tried to cover it up and not say anything about it. 3 days later I went to put some items in my dryer and the piece of floor moved. I called them on Wednesday 6/28 and the lady on the phone told me to email the pictures. I emailed them the pictures on Thursday 6/29 and still have not heard back from them on how they intend on fixing my floor. Update 7/9/17 The admin of the company called on 7/3 or 7/5 to confirm to have someone come out and fix our floor Sunday 7/9/17 between 12-4. The salesman discussed prices for services that were substantially lower than he wrote on the statement. He presented me with numbers written on a paper towel and requested that I place my initials on the estimate before he wrote any proposed prices. He did not show me a pricelist for services. The ducts and vents were cleaned and disinfected well, but the carpets beneath the vents were left for me to vacuum despite assurances that they would clean up. They requested bleach and requested to use mine on the vents, then left with the rest of the nearly full container. Prices advertised were not even close to the nearly $6000 they charged for cleaning 18 vents from one A/C unit and sanitizing them for mold.
