It had been about a year since my last order, and after such a great first experience, I was excited to come back--and it absolutely did not disappoint. My wife and I enjoyed it so much the first time that we couldn't stop talking about it, which convinced my parents and sister to give it a try too. On our first visit, we had the chicken and steak combo with fried rice and a side of garlic noodles. This time, we went with the shrimp, lobster, and steak trio--again with fried rice and garlic noodles--and everything was just as amazing. Every bite had me doing that "happy dance" all food lovers know too well. I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving quality hibachi, especially for a weekend treat. We'll definitely be back! read more

Steaks LA - Lobster, Shrimp, & Steak Trio with Fried Rice - Meat Shops Near Me - Inglewood, California

First impressions, everyone is super familial and friendly. I was greeted enthusiastically upon my arrival as I perused the butcher shop looking for a specific burger patty blend. My guy helped me out and gave me a nice combo of ground up cow to make the ultimate, thick burger. I was also there for the hibachi which wasnt until 2 but they let me pre-order for later pick up. I got the filet mignon with chicken and shrimp. Very clean, fresh and delectable. I wish there was a teriyaki sauce to pull it together and I thought I had too much rice and not enough proteins for 45 dollars but, I would order it again with less rice, more veggies and some sort of sauce. I was also given a sample of the churro that they were serving outside but didnt get a chance to grab some as my arms were laden with my purchases and my hood Kool aid. Parking is cramped but dont let that deter you. I might try their Waygu when I get my grill but I definitely see myself popping by to get more meats and hibachi! read more

I was not impressed with the food. The Yum Yum sauce was basically mayonnaise and a touch of Sriracha. This is nowhere near the experience of a Benihana style/ hibachi restaurant They gave us enough rice for four people about a quarter cup of vegetables, six large shrimp and about a half a cup of filet mignon At $45 per plate for the double You might as well spend an extra $20 go to Benihana have a full dinner experience Not the most comfortable place to sit and eat. I had heard so much about this place. I was so excited to try it. Unfortunately, I will never come back. Way too expensive for what it is. Anyone can get a black top and cook and call it hibachi this was not hibachi It's a butcher shop with a outdoor cooking top set up in the back do not be fooled read more

I decided to treat myself because it's costly. I got the trio of Lobster, Filet Mignon and shrimp. Food was tasty but one garlic butter sauce isn't enough. lol. I opted for fried rice and there was plenty (more than I needed) in the container. The veggies could have been more flavorful but the customer service was excellent and it wasn't that long of a wait - maybe because I was there early on a Friday before the evening rush. They said it would be about 30 minutes but it wasn't quite that long. I would go again ... when I have some extra coins. The photo is missing some of the portion of lobster and steak because I started eating before i remembered to take A picture. LOL. One note: if you want steak and you're getting it to go, remember that the meat is going to continue to cook a little more so consider that if you're ordering rare, med rare or well done. read more

I found this place on social media. We tried it and it was delicious. We had lobster, steak, and shrimp. We'll definitely be going again!!!!

Decided to come here with my best friend who was in from out of town. She is pretty big on hibachi style food so we went there. I was surprised when I walked in that it was basically a meat market set up, but that it had no smell, which was excellent! Everything looked really clean very bright like they weren't trying to dim the lights and hide anything from you. The lady helped us with the menu and placed our order when we first walked in since we already knew what we wanted to eat lol We came on a weekend night, the last dodger game. The vibes were chill. Everybody was actually really welcoming. I guess the Dodgers playing put everyone in a good mood lol The parking lot was exactly what it needed to be a few parking spots in a lot of street parking depending on the daytime. I'm sure Moore could have been available. Outside was very chill it was a perfect California night not colder than 65° and I loved that the hibachi Grill was not right on our table lol cause I don't like that personally The food was made pretty fast to order and I ended up ordering another salmon plate to go! The plate was packed with food! I did also order the noodles for us to share The only thing I would add for improvement would be garnishes, maybe on the noodles, some green onion, and sesame seeds but other than that, everything went perfect, and the Dodgers won! read more

Ok. We went there after seeing raving reviews from IG and these IG foodie influencers. Idk what they are eating and call themselves foodie and made these raving comments. I don't think it's worth the price. The fried rice texture is not my standard. I am Chinese so I know what fried rice should taste like. I originally wanted steam rice but the lady that took my order said I really should get the fried rice instead because it's so good. I took her recommendation and it was not my standard of fried rice. I don't think our dinner was worth a total of $133. read more

My mom and I decided to check out Steaks LA after seeing all the great reviews, and I'm so glad we did. This place is such a hidden gem. The butcher had a beautiful selection of steaks and greeted us with a big smile right away. You can tell they care about quality and take pride in what they do. The hibachi was the real star, seasoned perfectly, super flavorful, and the portion was huge. Definitely got our money's worth. Customer service was excellent too. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which just made the whole experience even better. Safe to say this is our new go-to spot. If you're in the neighborhood, you've got to try it. read more

I had the pleasure to meet the owners. Little Richardo took our order, while Elli stood by to assist if needed. Mariah assisted us with condiments and Richardo Sr. approached us prior to leaving to ensure we all enjoyed our experience. We drove up from Ventura County after seeing this come across my social media pages. It was well worth the journey. Sr. shared they are open daily, and function as a butcher shop. The meat options are truly grade A+++ the Tomahawk During the week they have a limited menu M-Th and taco Tuesday. However, F-Sun are their Hibachi nights. read more

Hands down one of the best hibachi experiences in LA specifically INGLEWOOD area. The food is incredible perfectly cooked steak, flavorful fried rice, and that signature hibachi flair that makes it fun from start to finish. The chefs really know how to entertain while delivering top-tier flavor. Every bite had that perfect sear and seasoning. The only heads-up I'd give is that on popular nights, the wait can be a bit long but honestly, that just shows how in-demand this place is. It's worth the wait, and if you plan ahead or arrive early, you'll be golden. I think you can call ahead of time to place your order if you do not want to wait. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was my first time trying this restaurant, and I was excited because it's close to home in Inglewood. I ordered the filet, lobster, and shrimp plate for $55 plus tax. When I got home, my boyfriend separated the food into three plates for me, my son, and himself. As I started eating, I realized there was no lobster at all on my plate. We immediately called the restaurant. The lady who answered first said they could Zelle it, so I asked if she could simply Zelle me the price difference for the lobster I never received. She agreed at first, then suddenly changed her mind and told me to come in instead. I explained it was pouring rain and very inconvenient, and again asked for the Zelle. She refused. When I asked for a manager, the situation got even worse. The manager was extremely rude. He told me to take a picture, even though the food had already been separated and partially eaten because we were hungry. Instead of asking the cook if the lobster was actually put on the plate, he accused me of lying. I made it clear I wasn't asking for a full refund -- just the lobster I paid for. He said he would Zelle me, and I could hear staff laughing in the background. He never sent anything. At this point, it feels like something they do often, and I definitely felt scammed. This place is overpriced, unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. What I received was absolutely not worth the $65 I spent. Beware -- I will never be returning. read more

Influencers be damned. I know a regular customer who will tell you the truth and the truth is I ate my hibachi "plate" for 2 days because I took it to work for lunch and damn near didn't make it. When you're full time drags on. I do not, I repeat DO NOT like zucchini but I ate every veggie that was in my order. Ooops I had the shrimp and steak. Did I enjoy it??? Will I go back??? Came all the way down from Woodland Hills and was absolutely blown away! Very clean lot The food was incredible service was impeccable. I love to try good food. But I also like to get my money's worth. That did not happen on my visit. The portions is the primary issue. The fried rice is not really fried rice. Also it was wayy too much rice. The protein portion should match the rice. I'm probably good forever on fried rice at this point unless I make it. Its a slick way to stretch your protein tho. 9-10 cubes of chicken and or steak. $40 plus, I need to get full and the taste has to match the price. I gave a two star for the atmosphere and kindness of the staff. Probably wont be back. Times is hard. I'll go get a jerk chicken plate or oxtails and I'm Gucci. read more

Of the numerous eateries I've come to patronize, particularly given my palettes' preference for spicy extreme (ex. the glorious Habanero), Steaks LA seasonings not only excel in preparing quality meats, but what they've done with veggies? (Chef's Kiss - Muah!) Though I eagerly went to sample their Hibachi Nights event, but then, BEHOLD! In the spirit of an ever accommodating 5-star establishment, for me, Ellie & the chefs made it a Habanero Night ! Simply Superb. What Ray's BBQ did with wagyu, Steaks LA transcends current wagyu delicacies to yet another level - LATINO DE JOUR!!! Cheers! Ellie et al. read more

All the way from Sydney Australia and I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my trip in LA. That was one of the most incredible tasting meals I've had in the states to date! The chefs were 10/10 and the flavour of the meat was incomparable. We almost weren't able to make it but I made sure we fit it in before our flight (which is in 4 hours!) We love that it's a family owned business and they make you feel like you're a part of it... especially with the tequila shot when you first walk in! Thank you Steaks LA for an amazing atmosphere, superb flavours and premium quality meat that just melted in your mouth. Oh, and the churros at the end topped it off. We ordered a chicken plate, a new york steak plate, a filet plate, a salmon plate, and a side of noodles. The good: the place was very clean. The service was professional and pleasant. The fried rice was good. The veggies were very good. The flavor of the steaks was very good. The noodles were very good. The sauces were very good. The meh: the salmon was a bit bland and a tad dry, but not too bad. The bad: the chicken was dry and bland. The size of the cubes and the amount of both the steak offerings was not worth the price. Overall, my family decided that this place didn't live up to the hype. Didn't work for us. read more

Service was fast, placed my order and they had pre bottled agua frescas which was cool to see. I had the horchata and it was delicious. I had the meat trio. Everything was cooked good.
