$99 for the Mr. Meats kit is my new go to! In my opinion, the carne asada quality is better than La Carniceria. For $99, you get total 10 lbs of marinated asada, short rib, (I forgot the name but it's a marbled thick cut of beef soo tenderness), and marinated chicken. It's located in a shopping plaza so there's plenty of parking. They also sell salsa, tortilla, veggies, guacamole, and more! I've made soo many tacos and quick meals throughout the week.

Walked in and was the only person here, but in no way greeted. In fact i was ignored. It was a little crazy to me that none of the meats or other items had any prices on it , so I was blindly going to just pay. Which also makes me think are they gouging based on who pays. Shady lol ..... I did not expect to pay almost $100 for just under 5 lbs of meat (half of it was CHICKEN THIGHS), guac, and tortillas. Diabolical! What a mistake! The chicken was $6.99/lb for some chicken thighs, The beef was like $15.99/lb. Guac was $7.99 for a small 8 oz, $6.99 for a pack of 10 tortillas. To make it worse, the flavor is really didn't stand out and it wasn't bomb . Im going back to the meat market i usually go to. At least they are friendly and transparent with their pricing! Crazy! Never again

If you are looking for quality of meat, you need to come to Mr. Meats. Been coming here since they opened. The quality of their meat is the best. I would recommend Mr. Meats. The meat literally mealts in your mouth. Also, doesn't forget to try the Tasajo.

First time trying this place after seeing multiple ads pop up on my Instagram feed, and the way they present themselves is Carneceria-quality. When I went in, the service was really good, but right away I noticed the meat looked drier than it should. I figured once they added the juice, and after letting it sit and marinate at home for about an hour, it would be OK--just like La Carnicería's meat. That's exactly what we did when we got home. We turned on the grill and started cooking, and immediately noticed the meat was still very dry and the "juice" was extremely watery. It wasn't the usual orange-colored marinade, and if it was, it was so watered down it didn't do anything for the meat. As we cooked it longer, the meat never tenderized or looked anything like what they promote online. The cuts were thick, very dry, and even once they appeared fully cooked, the meat was still chewy and honestly pretty unpleasant. We attempted to call the store the same day--about 3-4 times to see if we can get an exchange for fresh meat or a full refund--and nobody answered. Because of that, I had to file a chargeback with my bank. For the price they're charging, I'd much rather go to La Carnicería. It's the same price, but there you get actual quality. I would not return to this place and definitely would not recommend it. Don't fall for the promotional ads and celebrity posts. I had high expectations and had been wanting to try their meat for a long time, and I regret spending my money here.

Even gave us a sample which was unexpected but a nice gesture. I bought the brisket and it was a very fair price . Will be coming back soon for some Ranchero !! read more

I got their signature cut Tasajo and they were super delicious. They told me their Tasajo is flap meet from Prime Holstein. Not many cut varieties but they also carry real Japanese Wagyu and Australian Wagyu. Store looked clean Super friendly service read more

Here's what 8 have to say about Mr Meats. They have the best cuts for your carne asada I've ever had. They deal in prime and wagyu, and the when I say this meat is tender and flavorful. The chicken is delicious and the mirnade is delicious. They carry big steaks and brisket as well. Haven't ventured into that yet, however I will be back. read more

I stumbled upon Mr Meats while heading to another spot in the same shopping center.. I liked that it was super clean with no odd smell. I also liked how the staff just let me look around and answered a few of my questions without making me feel pressured to purchase anything. I ended up grabbing 3 pounds of the mango habanero skinless chicken thighs just out of curiosity. I loved how they packaged it perfectly to put in the freezer. Fast forward to this Weekend (less than a week later) I threw it on the grill.. Yo, I'm so glad I took the chance in buying that chicken because it was so freaking delicious!! It was so bomb sauceless and more than half was gone the first night. The next day I decided to throw some Walkerswood jerk on it to add to my salad and my goodness was it good! i just have one issue with this place, their consistency. Sometimes their meat is buttery even when it's cooked well done other times it's tough and has extra fat. Especially when they run sales, their consistency isn't there unlike other meat markets. If they were always consistent I'd give them a higher rating for sure. They need to work on being consistent on the type of meat they sell. read more

This place seems like overpriced for the quality you get for the meats. Better to go to a real carniceria. My husband and i went on a ranchera meat special day but we came to conclusion that because the meat was tough, no wonder they put the prime meat for special price. Also, the guy that serves you there is rude. He was not interested in explaining anything. Just answering yes or no to basic questions we asked and asked for recommendations and he just pointed to a meat and basically gave us a one word answer. Won't go back read more

I got 6 pounds of carne asada, 3 pounds chicken, and a chorizo. 104 bucks total. Fed 10 people happily! Everything was grilled on mesquite charcoal and when I said flavor house I mean damn it was good! They got it all for your bbq, sauces, tortillas I mean everything. So if you missed picking up from the local market, just know they will have it here. Truly good stuff, I can't recommend enough to anyone who is going to grill to pick up their meats from the Mr himself!

My boyfriend normally gets the mochi mango which has soft chunks of mochi mixed, and tart/sweet mango puree. I appreciate how the smoothie is never icy, and has a creamy texture. There are plenty of seating options for people, whether it's socializing or studying. It gets pretty busy and wait-times can vary greatly; I would recommend ordering ahead of time. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have with the spot is that the drinks do tend to be on the more expensive side, with drinks ranging from $7-9. The matcha drinks are also not the highest quality, and often the matcha tastes quite diluted. Overall a solid spot!
