Weissbiee, so good!
Damon V.

Those is my first time to Berlin abd I was looking to celebrate a recent success. I enjoy grilling steaks and I'm reluctant to admit I cook many ribeye steaks at home each year. I've become very good at grilling steaks and ribeyes specifically. This staff at this restaurant were very helpful including informing me that cash was yhe only payment option which I admit I forgot to ask about beforehand. Luckily I was flush with cash so it was not an issue but I very much appreciated the forewarning. I chose a ribeye and they suggested the rosemary roasted potatoes which were amazing. A not miss in my opinion. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I highly recommend this establishment. All my best!

This was my first time in Berlin and I wanted to have a special dinner before I left. Steakhouse Asador was just what we were looking for. The food and wine was absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, our server Melek was the sweetest and most attentive server I encountered in my entire stay in Berlin! She was hospitable, generous, and just overall amazing. Come for the food and stay for the kind service. Thank you Melek for making our night so special!

My rating is purely based on the fish dishes I ordered here and not for the steaks. The fish soup was surprisingly not tasting like any fish. It was mostly like a tomato soup with fish pieces in it for 11€. The pulpo salad was simply small portion of pulpo with olive oil and lemon. Overall it was not the greatest experience in taste and price-value ratio, but! We will come back for steaks and readjust our rating if needed

This restaurant was phenomenal. We got the melodias trapiche which was a good Argentinian Pinot noir and paired well with our meals. The steak was perfectly cooked and the rosemary potatoes and green beans were delicious. Music was soothing and created a cozy yet welcoming atmosphere. The service was great and we couldn't have asked for better. Extremely happy we came here on our visit to Berlin. (Side note: like many places in Berlin this was a cash ONLY establishment)

Our fun waiter Pablo. A great guy.

I cannot say enough good things about Steakhouse Asador. First of all, the steaks, the salads and side dishes were topnotch. But, more importantly, the staff made us feel very welcome and really enhanced our experience. Our waiter was Pablo, from the Dominican Republic, and he was warm, super friendly and fun. My daughter has some food allergies and he handled them perfectly. He also seemed to watch over us, making sure our steaks were perfectly cooked, making sure my daughter had something appropriate to put on her bread given that she is allergic to dairy products (no butter) and also shared shots of Jager Meister with us because we told him that it was our first trip to Germany. Everyone else was very friendly and welcoming as well. I highly recommend it.

Best stakes. Ever! Visiting the place because of recommendations and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is not in the best route/place for tourists, but is worth the travel. Metro goes pretty close anyways. We had starter plate, which was not overkill by size but tasty selection of different foods. For main course, we had entrecote and rump steak. Amazing tastes! Try the house garlic-cream-sauce, it was just plain heavenly. The service was friendly and professional. Price level is cheap compared to the food quality - dinner for two with drinks/wine & dessert was 60 euros. The place doesn't have english menu, but the personnel kindly told what each menu item was (although we could understand some german too). I'd give the place 6 stars if possible. Whenever in Berlin, this is the place to go for us. If you go here on weekend evening, I recommend reserving the table. The place was full booked on Saturday and it is not too big.

This place is a keeper. As my dad came for another I had to impress with some good steak place for him and his friends (and me!) After a few places were already booked for Friday night I decided to try booking a table here - they were friendly from the start. Booked and reserved the table for us at a good spot in the restaurant. The design doesn't aim to be very fancy, and so are the prices. But the service is really great and they do a really good job around there. Our waiter was very nice and friendly, explained everything patiently and gave us tips about what we should or should not order. The starters came rather quick but we waited for a while (about 50 mins) for the main dishes. For a starter I had a tomato basil soup which was great - creamy, soft and well seasoned. Now for the main dish - I had a 250g fillet MW, great piece of steak! Comes with garlic butter on top. The beef was tender, well grilled and with some nutty aroma - all the other four were also very satisfied (they ordered a grill mix, a chicken breast and a rump steak). Also- the red wine sauce is really adding to the meat, loved it. The plate comes completely clean with the butter on the side, all the extras are served in different plates. For the dessert we had the Apple strudel and creme brûlée which were also not too bad. great experience, no fancy atmosphere and good food. If you like steaks you better check it out,

Steak and happy daughter :-)

After a lot of schnitzel in Munich, I was ready for a change of pace in Berlin so I searched Yelp…read morefor a steakhouse where I could get a nice ribeye and Block House showed up as a place that was highly rated as well as super close to my hotel! I came in around 6:00 and it was starting to fill up. Rather than take a table, I sat at the bar near the front which had about six or seven seats. I got a beer right away and because I'd looked at the menu online (they have an English menu on their website) I knew I wanted the rib eye master cut. The steak came with a salad, which was good (although heavy on the raw onions, luckily I wasn't kissing anyone later) as well as a baked potato and garlic bread. The master cut comes with freshly grated horseradish that really added an extra boost to the already flavorful rib eye. The steak was tender and even though rib eyes are by nature fatty, this one had the flavor without too much extra fat. I liked it a lot. I also liked the extra sour cream they provided and ate every last drop! The waiter convinced me to order some chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was also good. In the US, they usually serve cake like that with a raspberry sauce and I'm just not a fan of raspberries. However, this came with a blueberry sauce which was perfect. The best thing is that for a beer, a big bottle of sparkling water, the steak and the cake, my total bill was €43 or just under $50 and that is what I would have paid for just the steak back in NYC. The service was also very friendly...maybe they get a lot of tourists or something but it was probably the friendliest service I had in all of Germany. I'm a big fan of the Block House!

This is a stake house and it is very pricey for German restaurants. Steak prices are the same as…read morein the US at this place. In fact you might end up better in the US. However, their steak burgers and their local beef they use are amazing. Also their French onion soup on the appetizer side was very good (not the best i had in Germany). Steaks are good, but not goid enough for what you pay. This place is always busy at the Alexanderplatz due to international foot traffic. There are other lical options in the area where you can eat a good dinner for less than half. Try Schloegl nearby for outstanding local fare for under 15 Euroes with tip.
