    DOUBLE CHEESE SMASH BURGER
    Daren R.

SMASH BUT NO SHAKE... My first ever Smash Burger today at Steak 'n Shake which most people would say is blasphemy. I had to find out what all the hype was toward their renowned cheese steakburgers. Firstly, a human cashier does not exist here. I had to figure out the digital screen menu then pay in cash since I rarely use credit cards for food purchases. The menu navigation was simple to add a smash burger to my order but they continued to upsell other items like drinks and sides which was annoying. I only wanted a Double Smash Cheese Burger and thats what I clicked on. The order was digitally transferred to the cook and watched as my burger was prepared on the flat grill. Thin smoke began to rise from the beef as the cook pressed down hard with the steel spatula to create the "Smash" effect. The decor was the iconic red and white 1950s theme complemented with old black & white wall photos, gumball machines and a plush toy claw machine. The retro decor continued through the clean bathrooms with black and white checkered wall tiles and floors. Within a few minutes, my double Smash was ready for consumption. As I starred at my burger with a smile, the cook told me that I was gonna love it. After only one bite it was obvious that her comment was all truth, as was confirmed by the yum yum sounds coming from my full mouth. Super juicy seasoned 100% beef with the thin pickle crunch added the perfect combination. At under $6.00, the size and flavor of the burger was a fantastic value. I will return for another smash burger and try their famous milkshakes.

Steak and shake has a big variety of different burgers. My family and I dined in and they have a kiosk machine that you place your order and you can pay with cash, credit/ debit card and even bitcoin. On the kiosk they ask if you want to provide tip. The floor was a little sticky but the place looked overall clean. Sophia was very helpful and provided great customer service. When you order a drink they give you a QR code to scan to get the drink. I had my hands occupied and Sophia helped me out. Overall the experience and the food was great.

Service is slow but food comes out hot most of the time. I come here because there's no other SNS in the tricity area. The inside always smells a bit funky when I walk in for my order.

I was in the area and hadn't been to a Steak 'n Shake for years so I decided to stop for a quick bite. I'm not sure how so many of the reviewers had such a bad experience here because mine was just fine. I haven't been to a Steak n Shake, as I said, for years, so I'm not sure if this is how they do it at all of them now, but you need to order at a kiosk whether you're getting it to go or dining in. Ordering was very simple, you order and then just scan your credit card. They also have a register available for those who prefer to pay with cash. Within a few minutes our burgers and fries were ready. Food was nice and hot and really good. I love their thin fries topped with cheese and the burger was nice and juicy. I really only interacted with one employee and he was very pleasant. The place was spotless which is always a plus!

2-23-23 12:30pm The Yelp reviews all 239 of them, that gave this an overall rating of two stars is correct. I was heading over to Walmart but than did a fast beeline here through the drive thru. First I was surprised the slow service as there was only one car ahead of me. Once I got to the order screen was surprised I was told to wait. No wonder why the long wait they must be short staffed. I ordered a vanilla shake and was surprised on their order board every item had calories lists but the vanilla chocolate and strawberry shakes. When I get to the window to pay I noticed the filthy outside window. Than once the window opens you get hot with this pungent smell of fry oil. It was truly gross worse than body odor if you could imagine anything to be worse. Than I was handed the shake. It's been years since I have gotten one from them and the whipped cream was not real. It was that fake stuff that doesn't melt. Sorry I drank the shake and came here. Will definitely be the last time.

I mean their food is just amazing !!!!! And really should be a be more popular I got their steakburger they have great deals 4 $ for burger and fries !!! But the service don't know what happened to it !!! They don't know what they are doing I waited 45 min for my food . And not one employee could tell me what was going on they said they don't know !!! Really ???!!!!!

There was a double burger with cheese and mine was a single, the agares chili and 2 sodas. All gone!

Steak and shake "new" (for me) format: self serve! Let me say that it works! Now you enter and go to the self-ordering station, where you enter your order. The seating area was empty at 430pm- but started filling up soon after: so we had our choice of seats. Then they call your number and you pick up your tray and eat! No more waiting for the waitress to seat you, take your order and bring your food to you ... Food (burgers) were as good as I remember- pattys are small, but flavorful- cheese is cheese and they add the fixings you request. We did get a bowl of chili to share and it was quite tasty and very hot. Overall: self serve worked! I think the food was available faster than before- oh and this location now also has a drive thru! Enjoy!

This location has stepped up their game. On this visit, we ordered a Butter Steakburger w/ grilled onions, side of French fries and a perfectly spun chocolate shake. Plus, a Frisco Melt combo (not shown) w/ an equally perfect strawberry shake. The service at the window was great and our food even better!

The lowdown on this place is that the milkshakes and steak burgers are awesome . Even more awesome is the fact that they are open 24 hours!! I have definetly come here more than a dozen times past 2 in the morning and have gotten great milkshakes and burgers. My only deterrent from coming here is that I know that if I'm coming here, I'm doomed to have to wait around 20-30 minutes in the drive through. It seems that quality has its price and your time is the sacrifice you make to the burger gods for such a delicious treat being available all day and night long! However preparation is key.( pop in an awesome album on the car stereo and prepare for your journey through one of the longest drive throughs known to man....)yet it's totally worth the wait !! :) Shout out to all the people working late at night and supplying the world with great bites at night while some people have the nerve to complain :) Your the real MVPs You have cured my munchies with your Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshakes at 3 am way too many times than I'd like to admit. Steak and Shake is the hero we need, not deserve.

We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. Very thought through and intentional on their behalf. Loved Naked Farmer and would definitely get again if I'm in the area or craving something fresh!

All I can say is wow, I'm blown away by how fresh and good everything is here. We both got the salmon bowl, crispy skin and deliciously baked without losing moisture. The farro base is on another level and I need to try to make this at home, but know I won't come close. Great farro recipe that includes butternut squash pieces, dried cherries and walnuts, out of this world. The cornbread is extra good (I feel like it has honey drizzled on top). Sweet potatoes amazingly roasted with cinnamon for extra flavor. I ended up getting a side of the mushrooms (because typically it's a sub for protein choice) and I have never tasted mushrooms so good - I could eat a whole bucket of that. I think it was a mix of portobello and oyster or king of trumpet mushrooms, so incredibly roasted in lemon - brilliant! Good service. Can dine in or takeout. Healthy and tasty, I highly recommend!

Not only was he very apologetic, he seemed like he actually cared about making the situation right. After inquiring a bit more about the service that night he gratuitously invited me back for another meal. I understand mistakes happens so it's truly about how they're taken care of after the fact. In this case, it was handled well. I decided to come for brunch this time & overall, it was a really good meal. They weren't super busy but service was good. Our appetizers, drinks & meals all came out in a timely manner. For the most part, everything was right but one of the hash brown sides came out cold (it was quickly swapped for fresh ones). My chicken & waffles were delicious. I especially liked how freshly breaded/fried the chicken was. There was a misunderstanding when it came to ordering our drinks, however. I ordered one that should've came iced but got the other coffee beverage which is served warm. When I brought it up to the waiter he was adamant that it's what I ordered & how it's served. After I questioned it once more, he stuck to that, so I kept the drink. Thankfully, it tasted really good & was poured well but it wasn't what I ordered. It was just a bit off putting that he said it was. He said he'd take the drinks off but this was after we went back & forth about it. This isn't a make or break situation for me but he was set in his ways. As a server, you need to be as adaptive as possible, even if you believe you're right. I'm super thankful to have been invited back because it was a nice meal, as I expected. I'm glad I can now tell people to try them out in good conscience. If you're looking for some delicious food, tasty drinks & good service then you should stop by. They have something for everyone & their staff does a solid job.

We all ordered drinks - espresso martinis, fire and ice mojito, aperol spritz, lemonade, cappuccino etc. The espresso martinis were watery coffee drinks missing baileys. The fire and ice mojito was so sweet and had no taste of rum. I asked for a regular mojito instead and still sweet but better. And the lemonade was forgotten until we reminded the server while we already had our food. We all ordered after drinks - salads, shrimp and grits, breakfast plate, and chicken and waffles. My chicken and waffles were okay the syrup came out cold and the butter was an interesting consistency... They messed up the salad orders.
