Wanted to try a new coffee shop and luckily this place had a sale the time we ordered! I got the Brad's Way Iced Shaken Espresso and it was BOGO Free! It was light, but still had the espresso kick I needed. The hints of hazelnut topped it off. Wish it was given in a bigger size! Similar to the 85 degrees Coffee. If you like that, you'll like this.
Steadfast Cafe is a small little spot tucked away in a shopping center, and it was such a pleasant surprise. There are tables inside and outside, and it had that easy morning vibe with people hanging out and sipping coffee. I ordered the Breakfast Sando to share with my broke bestie, aka my 10-year-old son, and it absolutely understood the assignment: flaky, buttery croissant, smoky thick-cut bacon, fluffy eggs, melty gouda, and a sriracha mayo that gives it a little kick without taking over. Rich, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a breakfast sandwich. My son is a breakfast sandwich connoisseur (he gets them everywhere), so I asked for the official verdict. He took a bite and said, "This breakfast sandwich is incredible." Case closed. Service was fast and genuinely friendly. She wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I love that kind of warmth. Also grabbed an old-school Martinelli's apple juice, which was the perfect little throwback. Come for the croissant situation, stay for the kind service. Easy recommend.
A cozy cafe located perfectly in the corner of a small business strip. A sizeable amount of seating for those wanting to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with their meal. The staff is friendly and fast with their service. I ordered the Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte which is smooth, rich and not too sweet. I also ordered their Ham and Swiss Croissant which was good.
I was craving a croissant sandwich and found this spot through Yelp. It looked promising online, but when I got there, it really was a true hole-in-the-wall. The croissant looked great in the photos, but in person, it was pretty small for the price -- about $15 for a sandwich with just egg, avocado, ham, bacon, and lettuce. Definitely on the pricey side for what you get. I also tried the buttery lavender matcha, but it was just okay -- I've had better at other matcha spots. Service was friendly, but overall, I don't think I'd come back. Cute little place, just not worth the hype or price for me.
Was sitting on the couch and the day was getting on so I decided to run some errands. As I was getting ready I opened Yelp to look for some place to grab a quick bite and while scrolling Steadfast popped up. Super nice little cafe with TONS of drink options! I saw a review for the 'Next Level Breakfast Sando' and was like "Yep! That's the one!" Food came out fast and the cashier/server was super nice. They have merch you can purchase, which you totally should. Cute signs and such. And they had heart shaped straws. What?!
came here for a quick breakfast and it was so bomb the chicken & swiss on country bread is my absolute FAVEEE. the chicken is juicy and the bread is crunchy but soft.. everything about the chicken and swiss is pure perfection 10/10 the mediterranean toast was good, it had a lot of balsamic glaze on it so it was very acidic but delicious nonetheless, loveloveloved the cream cheese the avocado turkey sando was delicious! the bread was perfectly toasted, lots of turkey and veggies. i loved the sauce that they put in there, some sort of mayo mixture, seriously so yummy although it's a small lil joint, the overall vibes were great! food was sexy n delicious. service was really good too
Came here Saturday morning with the bf on our bikes for a quick brunch based off yelp reviews after seeing this place. Parking is dicey in this little strip mall, when I realized I'd been here before a couple years back for the donuttery a few doors down but never wanted to come back because of the parking situation that I saw again today as we were leaving. Some dude in a truck parked in an off way sticking out, making it difficult for people to get by his parked truck. It's a cute place. Outdoor, some indoor seating available and a decent menu. No place to actually lock up your bikes but you can probably lock it to their gate. We didn't have to though because we ate outside by our bikes without issue. He ordered the lox bagel and I got the next level avocado toast. There are 6 outside tables and when we were there 4 were empty but the wait was still a bit long so don't come if you're in a hurry or order ahead of time to avoid the wait. Next level avo toast was good. I think I would've preferred no feta cheese and some thin sliced red onions instead. Lox bagel had tomato, which was not bad, but we could've done away with that and had more lox. All in all good portions and healthy alternative to what I normally don't like at pancake/waffle breakfast diners that do superfluous amounts of carbs with no balance in protein unless you pay for an extra order of it. Bummed the cookie on the side of their sign is faded because it's super cute (with freckles!) didn't order coffee because we biked there but will try another time.
I was just on my way out of town and had to stop for breakfast before a long drive a quick yelp search brought me here. It was 8:30 am on a Sunday and busy but the girls working here were so nice and helpful. I took a breakfast sandwich on sourdough. A big americano and a coffee cake for the road. Steadfast Cafe is a family-owned cafe located right next to the popular donut shop The Donuttery in Huntington Beach. This is the flagship cafe and a second cafe is located in Long Beach. [Parking]: Easy and free plaza parking - I had no issue finding an available spot on weekdays. [Atmosphere]: Cozy indoor vibe with a small outdoor patio area. A great spot to catch up with friends, but nothing to see in the surrounding area so not the best spot for an ideal date. [Menu]: I asked for a recommended drink and the cashier suggested Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. For food, Avocado Toast and Next Level Breakfast Sando are the Yelp's top highlights. They also have not coffee options like matcha and bagel options. *** Next Level breakfast Sando (two eggs, gouda, Siracha mayo, tomato, lettuce, avocado on a croissant - $15.95 + half ham & half bacon additional $2): Frankly it was one of the most expensive breakfast sandwiches I have ever had, but they are not holding back on ingredients and presentation. The taste matched the presentation - crusty croissant, smooth texture from avocado, nutritious egg, and crispy bacon - it was one jam-packed sando. Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte (honey, vanilla and cinnamon infused whole milk latte with our signature golden espresso - $5.25 + $0.50 for hot medium 16 oz): Other cinnamon lattes from other shops typically tasted overly sweet, but this one the sweetness was just right and had the right balance between honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. *** Expensive sando, but it was certainly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have had in recent years. A solid 5-star on breakfast sando and latte.
I came in this morning after finding this place on maps. I ordered an iced rosemary latte and a breakfast sando with bacon. The rosemary latte did not have an overwhelming rosemary flavor at all, but a lightly sweetened latte with notes of rosemary. The breakfast sando was AMAZING!!! The flavor was phenomenal between the way the egg was cooked and the siracha mayo. The service was good. It was a little busy so it took a while to get our food, but the lattes came out quickly. Which is all understandable considering it was a busy Saturday morning. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside was a bit crowded and condensed with chairs/tables. The parking was difficult because the donuttery is in the same parking lot. I will also add, when I do go back, I won't be ordering a chai latte. I did notice they used tazo instead of local outsourcing. Which as an avid chai drinker, I was slightly disappointed.
It was my first time at Steadfast cafe in HB. I ordered the Brads Way shaken espresso and chocolate banana muffin. Little pricey. The shaken espresso was just okay, there was something missing that wasn't able to finish my drink. The muffin was stale. I couldn't finish my muffin either. I did ask to warm my pastry but I was in a hurry , I let it go. If it's your first time, this place is easy to miss. Turn into the lot right before the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Clean, cute, and tidy cafe. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating.
Steadfast Café is such a cute little spot with so many fun drink choices it's hard to choose just one! We decided to try their toast flight, and wow, it did not disappoint. We even went back to order a few more different toast that we liked from the flight. It was that good !!! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The café itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe. I actually remember coming here back when it was Snow Monster, so it was fun to see the transformation and what a lovely one it is! The staff, though, is what really makes this place shine. Truly some of the sweetest people I've ever met. We bought a cake pop for my son, and when he accidentally dropped it, one of the staff (maybe the owner or manager?) came around with a brand new one just to make sure his little three year old world was okay again. That kind of kindness is rare and so appreciated. I honestly can't say enough good things about their customer service they are just genuine, kind hearted people. I tried one of their specialty drinks from the chalkboard menu, and also took sips from my sister's (all 3 of them) and mom's drinks everything was so delicious. Even my fiancé, who's pretty picky when it comes to coffee shops, loved it here. That says a lot! I've already recommended Steadfast to so many friends and family, and we're already looking forward to going back. We love that it's in Huntington and so close to home, it's definitely a new favorite for us.
Adorable small coffee shop tucked in a strip center. Hidden charm. Skip the Cali bagel... the avocado didn't taste fresh and likely came out of individually packed store bought guacamole. The blueberry grilled cheese wasn't my fav either, in my opinion, the gooey cheese favor was lacking. Service was great.

I recently visited Steadfast two days in one week. Despite my previous experience, I decided to try it out again and got the chicken swiss sandwich. Although simple, it was so so good. The country bread is perfect with it too. Their Nutella banana toast is so yummy as well. I definitely got hooked by those two. I'm glad I gave it another try. First time here! I ordered the Rose latte which was good. There were definitely some unique options on the menu that sounded intriguing. Small place but had seating inside if you wanted to work. The only odd thing was the menu said a 12oz rose latte was $5.50 but I think I was charged an additional dollar for the rose syrup, which isn't what the menu said which is slightly deceiving, but I didn't question it. read more

Found this eatery on Yelp as we're driving to our port from Huntington Beach. Chose it cuz it had 5 stars and by jiminy what a find! Very posh black and white interior with cool art on the wall and witty saying block on the counter. I was drawn to their glass cased pastries: decadent! The hazelnut twist was calling to me. Doc enjoyed her Bear claw and coffee. Hubs liked his coffee too( he ate a salad onour drive.) saying he was saving his appetite for the next few days. My hot coco was delicious but hallelujah, the first bite of the flaky, buttery crust came off in layers and revealed the yummy goodness of the chocolatey inners Indescribably delicious and heavenly like I could hear an angel's harp and the clouds parting- most excellent pastry I've tasted in all my time on earth. read more

I feel bad as I know this is a new business. But I have to give honest feedback and I do hope they make some changes. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I orders the lavender lemonade which was pretty good. Then we orders the breakfast sandwiches one on an everything bagel and they other on a croissant. We also order a chocolate croissant and turkey sandwich. Breakfast sandwiches... the egg was so dry and maybe microwaved even? The bagel was so dense it was like a school project. No flavor and just hard. The croissants on breakfast sandwich and chocolate one were over cooked just dry and flaky it was a mess. The turkey sandwich on country sourdough was just mostly bread. The turkey was so thin and like packaged.. not like deli meat. With all the great options and delicious donut spot a few doors down this place needs to step it up. read more

This was my first time trying, and while I don't usually do too many cafes for their limited or lack thereof food options, Steadfast has something for everyone. I was recommended the two breakfast items I selected: the Breakfast Sando and Honey Vanilla Cinnamon latte; they were a perfect pair. The coffee itself must've been one of the best I've had in awhile. The regular sized coffee was not enough for how good it tasted, so I got a free refill of drip coffee before I left. There is so much to love about this new cafe! First of all, customer service is top notch! Honestly everyone there was kind, asked my name, and had a small conversation. So friendly and different from other businesses. I even met the owner! You can tell he is passionate about his new coffee shop. Next, the drink menu is amazing. So many options I wanted to try! I opted for the rosemary latte. It's absolutely delicious. I love that it isn't a sweet drink but adds a subtle flavor over a plain latte. Food! Here's where I got even more excited!! They have some pastries from Blackmarket Bakery, which is one of my favorite small businesses in Costa Mesa! But not just that, they also have gluten free options, which is a major plus for my family. I ended up ordering a gluten free muffin and breakfast sandwiches. I've been wanting to come here because I have heard such great things from friend. I love supporting local small business in HB. Cute shop tucked into the same shopping center as Donuttery. Parking is a challenge especially since today there was a large semi truck parked in the Salvation Army next door. My gf and I were greeted by Brad. Tiny shop tucked away in a little shopping center. Indoor and outside seating. Great find! Daniel was super friendly and a great help deciding what I wanted of the vast mouthwatering menu items! I tried the oat milk cappuccino and the Artisan BLAT. Sooo good! I do wish there was slightly thicker or more bacon on the sandwich (and not the microwaveable kind) but other than that I loved it. There were also huge samples of the Nutella Banana toast (?) and omg amazing! You can't go wrong with Nutella but I wanted a more savory dish. read more

I've been to this cafe a few times and every time I am greeted by the kind staff, eager to help with any questions or recommendations. I recently had their breakfast sando on sourdough bread, and it was amazing! The sandwich is paired with a sriracha mayo dip and it just melts in your mouth with every bite. Their avocado toast and scones are also very tasty. I recommend trying their iced flavored lattes. I enjoyed the brown sugar latte the most. Parking can be tricky at times but people often come and go so I've never struggled much. This place is worth it though. read more

I was looking for a breakfast spot to go to on my birthday and stumbled upon this gem while looking on yelp. I got the Avocado toast and the Lox Bagel and both were so delicious!!!! I was very impressed with the quality and the taste of both items, especially the avocado toast, the bread was light, perfectly crispy and sooo yummy. We also got the Lavender lemonade and the chai latte and both were very good. The staff were super friendly and nice and the interior of the cafe is very cute. The service was positive, informative, and friendly, which set a nice tempo for a relaxed brunch experience on a Sunday morning. The menu offered all coffee standards plus a few house specialties, all at reasonable prices. The pastry case was filled with attractive items to grab-n-go, and the menu offered many sandwich options (classic and open-faced). I delighted in the Blueberry Grilled Cheese, starring blueberry compote and an accompaniment of aioli. The bread was marvelously toasted and the cheese was properly melted to give a good stringy pull during each bite. I also tried the Next Level Breakfast Sandwich, which was served on a croissant (or choice of bagel or other bread). The croissant was flakey good and the sriracha mayo harmonized the proteins and veggies together. Indoor and outdoor seating available with WiFi. Cozy and friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch place located in Huntington Beach next to the donuttery. It's quiet enough for you to hang out and study or catch up with a friend. Workers are also super nice. One of the workers literally gave me a ube pastry because of the long wait for the avocado toast. It was really unexpected but thoughtful and sweet of them! Excellent coffee, delicious sandwiches, and awesome seasonal specials! I had the BBQ chicken sando, which was fantastic! The bread was very toasted and crunchy, which I loved, and their cold brew is crisp and refreshing. My girlfriend got their banana toast, which she loved (and happily devoured). She had their hot crème brulatte, which was rich and decadent. Staff were incredibly kind and courteous the whole time we were there! I can't believe I haven't been here before. I'd been looking for a local coffee shop that really did it all for me since moving to the area, and I think I've found it now! read more

Great service great food and awesome customer service. My husband had ham missing on the sandwich and they didn't question it and quickly made it right. Had the breakfast sandwich and he had the one with garlic. We also tasted the sweet toast all of them were amazing along with our coffee and cold coffee. Will definitely will go back!!!! read more

I been seeing this place all over my social media...probably because they knew that their logo looks exactly like my boyfriend. I instantly followed them and was just obsessed of their post. it took me awhile to get there because I have been very busy, but finally just added it to my calendar to make sure, we are going there today no matter what. It's a nice little cozy spot. their coffee tasted amazing. Sorry...I forgot what we got but try it all. I am sure everything taste great. Their breakfast sandwich and Danish was good too. Nice simple morning breakfast. We wanted to eat light because we had a full day of adventuring out and eating all sorts of food. Ooooh...also, the employees was amazing.
