Circo Massimo is a station on Line B of the Rome Metro. It was opened on 10 February 1955 and is sited at the east end of the Circus Maximus. As Viale Aventino is a super busy roadway, there are exits on both sides and you could even use it as an easy and safe method for crossing the road. It is directly in front of a massive United Nations office building.
The station opened in 1955 and is between Piramide (towards Laurentina) and Colosseo (towards Rebibbia or Jonio). There are automated ticket vending machines (good luck, mine didn't work very well) and plenty of stairs. On the platform level, there are some benches and a display indicating how long until the next train is due to arrive.
