    Normally, I love to support small businesses, and I refer them to everybody because word-of-mouth is the best way to promote business. I have used this business before and it went smoothly, but this time was different. The price increased as well as the ratio and timeframe which wasn't a problem, but in the end was as surprise. The first time I used this company it was $280 for 3 hours and this time it was $350 for 2 hours which they spent most of the time at the first house asking me questions when I tagged all the furniture that needed to go. I even helped them move my own furniture and he said they normally don't do that because if there's damage, they won't know who's responsible--- to which I said it was me because that was obviously loud. We do a walk-through and discuss the different types of furniture and one piece in particular that I have is like an armoire, but on a spinning axle. This mirror is about 150 pounds and the base of it obviously spins when you carry it. I explained to the owner to be careful with the item because when carrying it you have to support the bottom and the main piece simultaneously. We get everything to my new house and it's fine but that's when he tells me of the price/hourly difference and I'm hit with another unexpected $350. I'm obviously in the middle of moving so it takes me a couple hours to send the rest of the money, but he's not shy to text me and tell me not to forget about them. My mistake here was, the following day I went to check the furniture and the spinning mirror/armoire was still wrapped and so when I go to unwrap it, I think I'm just going to spin and unwrap it. Then I come to find out that it's broken and it's rocking, leaning to one side. I proceeded to text the owner to let him know that they broke my furniture and was very respectful about it. He then proceeds to gaslight & mansplain me, dance around the idea that it was any fault of his to avoid accountability, named all of the extra benefits that he gave me to justify my broken furniture--- when I didn't ask for any of that ---that was on him and I was also unaware because I don't work here. All I wanted from him was some accountability and apology and then maybe we can talk about how to get my furniture fixed because replacing it would be another $500-$1000 which he tried to tell me that with his services and the $50 he offered me, was more than what my furniture would cost brand new. So he's telling me that he's worth $1000 but I'm only worth 50. It was really the audacity for me and the poor business practices that I cannot get 'down' with. If you're going to own a business, you have to first be able to take accountability and rectify whatever you did with your clientele. If you can't do that, you won't be able to retain any customers because you behave greedily and unethically. When I posted to social media about it, I got a few people saying that they used this person and this is a normal practice for them. Apparently they always offer $50 for inconveniences and it's not an inconvenience. It's broken furniture and furniture is not cheap. Previously, I recommended them to everybody, but this is the end of the road. Use them at your own peril. And I only gave them two stars because his employees were nice and respectful.

    Was recommended this company by my mother, they helped move my brother and mom's house and hung their TV's for a great value so I said ok. Easy to get a hold of Mark asked me when I wanted to take care of the service he was available with in hours. His team came thru David a high school friend that I hadn't seen in years and I didn't get the other gentlemans name got right to business. I want to tell you no exaggerating they took care of all this in about 20-30 mins and I thought that was amazing will tell you now I will be using their services again and again I would suggest you do the same. Local San Diego man making a difference.

    We used stay down to hang TV's in both of our condos and they did an excellent job. I would recommend stay down moving for tv mounting services
