I used this company about 4-5 times and I got to say they come on time and very professional had my yard looking real nice thanks I will be using them again read more

would NOT recommend this company. I paid almost $400 for junk removal, and they didn't even pick up everything they were supposed to. I called and asked them to come back and finish the job, but instead of correcting the issue, they told me I would have to place ANOTHER order and pay again. $400 is a lot of money for junk removal, and for that price I expected the job to actually be completed. I should not have to pay twice to get the service I originally paid for. Very disappointing customer service and experience. read more

First time using a junk removal company. Removed 40 gallon broken water heater from 2nd floor balcony of condo unit. It all happened in the blink of an eye: I called, they showed up super-quick, they wheeled it down the stairs. They had the best value around: I got quotes from many junk removal companies in the area. Will highly recommend them to friends and family. Thank you! read more

I have used this company several times now and they are my go-to. Communication about scheduling is fast! They always arrive within the window of arrival time, usually on the earlier side. Everyone I've interacted with are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The pricing is transparent and totally fair. I am always impressed with how fast and carefully they remove and haul away the junk. Definitely recommend! read more

Excellent communication, professional, price matched, easy to set up appointment, arrived on time, super quick service, no hidden fees! they have the best reviews/pricing and are licensed/insured. junk king is hands down the best! read more

Junk King cleared out a 2 bedroom condo after my mother had passed. They told us, and why we picked them is that they said they would take the items (acceptable for donation) to Goodwill. After asking multiple times for a donation receipt, we received nothing meaning they took everything to the dump or kept it to resell. No integrity, not at all honest or forthcoming. read more

Luis and Julio were amazing and so helpful! I signed up for mattress removal when I ordered a new mattress on Amazon but had low expectations. The last guys that came for another mattress wouldn't take the old one because it was stained. Duh! They're 20 years old. Luis and Julio said sure, no problem, with a big smile. They helped me move other things out of the way to get to the mattresses and happily took them both. What nice guys. I can see why you have such high ratings. They couldn't have known but my husband just died and I've been pretty down and to have someone treat me with such kindness is a wonderful thing. Thanks! For sure I'll be back the next time we need junk removal. read more

Amazing service beginning to end. This is actually my second time using junk king and I couldn't be happier with their service. Scheduling my pickup was super easy - I booked an appointment online for the next day and they reached out to confirm about an hour or so later. The day of, I received a text confirming that they were coming and then another later once they were on the way. The guys were super communicative, friendly, and most of all efficient - despite the 90+ degree heat of the day. Eric and Luis had my back patio and shed cleared out within 30 minutes, relieving months of stress from my mind in minutes. Pricing was extremely fair and they even gave me a small percentage off for being a repeat customer which I appreciate. I had a budget in mind and thankfully this came in under what I'd mentally set aside which was awesome. I could not recommend them any higher! read more

Super easy and very professional. Payton and Michael came out to grab my stuff and they were great. I highly recommend these guys!

Just like every snake sheds its skin, it was time before "The Year of the Horse" begins to shed some junk! I was surprised how quickly Junk King was able to schedule us, even by the next day! The gentleman were professional, quick, and efficient. read more

I had the most helpful Junk King employees remove some larger things that needed to go. Jesus and Sam C. made the removal easy and hassle free. They came quickly and were really efficient in moving everything out. They had great attitudes too and were very helpful through it all. I appreciate all their help. I don't think I will call anyone else in the future. I will definitely call Junk King again! read more

The most wonderful experience! My team even showed up early. They worked their butts off and worked so quickly. I am having them come back again Monday. Great pricing, great communication and highly professional work team. I whole heartedly recommend this amazing company! I got a quote from another company and I could just tell by their lack of effort and super high quote, they had zero interest in helping me out and doing the work. From the beginning, I was so happy with every aspect of my dealings with this company. Junk King came through, they rocked it. I'm so thrilled and going to continue to use them until I'm finished unpacking. I would recommend their services in a second to anyone in need. read more

Junk King San Diego - Pays to be a repeat customer! - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Spring Valley, California

You know when you think something is going to be a big hassle and you put it off for months? We had been meaning to dispose of our old hot tub but I didn't know where to start. A friend of a friend mentioned Junk King and I messaged here on yelp and they came out the next day to give me a quote on the spot. Angelo was the team lead and was great at communicating. He called me that morning and then gave me a 20 mins heads up phone call. When the crew arrived they gave me a quote and then I accepted and they got to work. It took them about 45 mins to chop up the hot tub and remove it. They cleaned up and made the area tidy when they were done. They also send an e-invoice with photos documenting the work. All in all 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend this company--very professional and very good service. Thanks to Bella, Angelo, BenjaminR, Dani and everyone else at Junk King for a great experience! read more

The 3 guys picked everything up so quickly and efficiently. They were very accommodating and personable too!

I bought a mattress from Amazon which came with a mattress removal. After 2 weeks and 3 cancelled appts and hours waiting for them, I cancelled and had Amazon send a mattress cover and had Ramona Disposal pick it up. Should have done that in the first place. read more

They are ALWAYS late and today they didn't even show up. When they do show up their employee shows you a price sheet and reads your face to find the highest price you will pay and then charges that. They are unprofessional and border line scam artist. Stay away read more

I needed to get rid of an old mattress but didn't want to just dump it in a landfill. I looked up mattress recycling and Junk King sounded the best. It was quick and very easy to setup an appointment online and for same day haul away too! I set pickup for between 1-3 and they texted me around noon to let me know they had one customer before me and then they texted me again to let me know they were on their way. Erik and Oliver were very professional and efficient. They had my old mattress hauled out within 10 minutes. 5 out of 5. Definitely would use them again in the future! read more

Found Junk King San Diego online as I needed a junk removal company for a construction project in Chula Vista. I had them come by and give me an estimate as well as another company. Their representatives were very communicative. They walked the job site and gave me their price at the end. They were lower than the other company so the client decided to use them. The day of the removal, they were again onetime and very professional. Their team did a great job cleaning up the site. Would definitely use them again and I highly recommend their company. read more

Well, I had a good impression of Junk King based on hiring them to remove junk from my elderly mother's house, but no longer. This weekend we once again discussed hiring someone to haul junk and she said she did not want to hire Junk King. I asked why, and she told me that the last time we hired them, they were not able to take everything in one load because their truck was full, so they had to come back the next day. When they returned, they took the junk, but then showed up at her back door. They told her they had not expected there would be that much more stuff to remove in the second load and they said they felt they were owed more money. My mom said that they were "two big guys" and that she felt intimidated, so she gave them more money. read more

They came to give estimate & took everything I wanted to be gone. They were quick, efficient, professional & polite. I would use them again. However, they came 3 hrs before the appt without notice. They didn't even call me to check if I'm ok for them to stop by. They just showed up & knocked on my door, said just finish the job near by. Luckily I were at home. Ideally I would like to come on their appt time or at least call ahead. So I have time to prep more stuff. read more

We requested a quote on some construction trash we piled up in our backyard. They quickly answered and said they could stop by to provide a quote within a few hours. The rep provided a quick quote which we approved right away. There prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. They cleaned the area quickly and left it like new. Will definitely be using them for all my junk removal needs. Don't hesitate to hire this company. read more

Great service. The team was prompt, assessed what needed to be removed and got to work. They showed ample respect for our home and were true professionals in every way. And they were good, nice people! We have happily used JK before, and will definitely use them again. This is a green company and are true to their recycling promise. Also, for things that may need a new home, they work with DAV (Disabled American Vets)! Isn't that great?! read more

Needed some items removed and Junk King came the day after I called. 8-10 time range and they came about 9. I got a call to let me know they had an appt ahead of me and then a call 15 minutes before they arrived. Erik and Brian were friendly and worked fast. Couldn't be happier! read more

Love love love the guys who came out! They were efficient and just easy to work with! Thank y'all so much!

We cleaned out an attic area above our garage and had about three pick up truck loads of junk which needed to be removed. I called Junk King first, based on their great reviews. Their customer representative and scheduler were friendly and professional. They could not provide an estimate over the phone but arranged to send a truck out first thing the next morning. Two guys arrived, we accepted the estimate and the material was loaded without delay. They guys were also friendly and gave a fair price. They informed us that all of the junk is sorted for recycling. They also swept us the area once the removal was complete. From start to finish, everyone as Junk King was a pleasure to work with. They have our highest recommendation. read more

I needed to remove a lot of junk from a house that was sold. I fooled myself into thinking I'd be able to do a dump run myself. I had a whole couch to remove, wasn't happening. So I yelped for junk removal and this came up with the quickest response time. They called within 5-10 mins to confirm scheduled my time frame that I was able to book all online in minutes. They ask how many F-150's you would need to haul your junk as a way to know how much stuff they need to put on their truck when they call. I actually had about 3.5 trucks and it was around four hundred dollars. It was worth every penny for my sanity. They guys were FAST, friendly and efficient. He called me when they were nearby to see if they could come sooner which was prefect because I was trying to get it out ASAP. Extremely satisfied with the service and ease of process. Calling them for my granny's garage next and I think I'll call them to remove stuff from my storage too if possible. read more

They took two mattresses, a box spring, a couch, and other furniture and miscellaneous bags of trash when I moved out of my apartment this month. They were right on time and hauled my stuff out of there faster than I could pile it up by the door for them. They took every last thing. They waived the mattress fee for me from the get go and charged me $378 flat for one truck load which was very kind even though that's steeper than I was expecting. I've never hired a junk service though so I wouldn't know what's normal. The amount of stress they took off my shoulders made it worth it. Punctual, communicative, friendly, and thorough :) read more

I'd highly recommend Junk King for hauling unwanted items. I got a quick reply to my request for a quote. I was told they'd need to see what needed to be hauled before they could give me a quote.
