DO NOT STAY WITH STAY SOL or COSTA HOLLYWOOD!!!! I am currently staying at Costa Hollywood through Sol on Airbnb. The Airbnb listing is NOTHING like the actual room!! I booked for 4 months here up front unknowing how awful the room is and they are not allowing me to cancel. Or they're trying to charge me almost $5,000 for the 3 weeks I have stayed here so far. Once they have your money, they disappear!!

This is the worst Vacation rental you could ever rent from. We rented an Apartment at the ocean for almost 7.000 Dollars for 3 weeks. Upon arrival the apartment was in horrible condtion. The floors were damaged and parts broken out. The walls had Parts missing. The warm water didnt work. The private elevator didnt work. There was construction at the building next door. Although we specifically asked if there was any construction before renting. I was told no. The pillows and bed sheets were stained and dirty. Blood stains on the bed. Doors of the kitchen didnt work and werde damaged. However even though all these points were mentioned the company didnt want to reimburse me. Yes they offered me an alternative apartment but this was not at the ocean and the same location. I urge everone not to rent from this company.

It was very spacious, and I loved how it had two bathrooms, with two sinks in the master bathroom. I also loved how the refrigerator came with an ice maker. The decor was simple but nice, and everything was so clean. I really enjoyed the long mirrors for pictures. For $20 a day you got parking in the garage, or you could have parked on the street for free, but coming in late at night there was no parking, so paying the $20 a day was good. The rooftop pool had an amazing view as well. The one thing I didn't like about the condo was they had a nice tub, but the inside looked like it was peeling badly so I didn't bother to use it. The other problem I had was I paid for late checkout, but I guess it wasn't communicated with management so in the middle of getting dress someone came in on us, which was kinda scary, and I was frustrated because when I told them I paid for late checkout they kept telling me I didn't and they didn't have any record, but thank God I keep my proof of receipt. I showed them and they apologized, but how the whole situation concurred was a little much. Other than that, the condo was close to a lot of things, which was good, and it was quiet.

Came here for our first trip with our 7-month-old and this did not feel like a 5-star experience,…read moreespecially at $1,400+ per night. We did get upgraded from an ocean view room to a coastline view suite and appreciated being able to choose between the two at check-in. Even with the upgrade, the stay didn't live up to expectations. The biggest issue is that the property feels dated and poorly maintained. In our room alone there was peeling laminate in the bathroom, likely from the tub faucet spraying toward the window, a shower that never got hot enough, and on our last day the closet door handle literally fell off. Not what you expect at this price point. Service was inconsistent. We walked into our room at one point and found housekeeping sitting on the couch. Valet was also frustrating since the parking attendant couldn't clearly direct us to visitor parking, so we ended up paying for valet every day. The hair dryer was low quality with only one heat setting. I use a salon-quality dryer at home, but even compared to some 4-star hotels this felt like a downgrade. Small detail, but it adds up. Food was mediocre and overpriced. A $22 piña colada mocktail was basically a slushy. Nothing we had stood out in a good way. The pool area is smaller than expected and not particularly nice for a resort like this. We were expecting more, whether that meant a larger pool, a second pool, or something more elevated. The beach was the highlight. Chairs and umbrellas were included in the resort fee and the staff there were genuinely warm and attentive. There was also noticeable construction noise and sound from the nearby bridge, which took away from the overall experience. The blackout curtains didn't fully close, which made it harder to get good sleep with a baby, and the balcony furniture felt minimal. Overall, this felt like fake luxury. The branding is there, but the experience doesn't match. Not worth the price and we would not stay here again.

The hotel itself is okay, the amenities are pretty underwhelming, they have one pool which is open to everyone (ie kids included) the beach setup is probably the only decent amenity. Where they have lounge chairs and umbrellas and full service for their drinks and food from their kitchen. We got a complimentary upgrade to a suite, in our room was amazing! We had beautiful Florida ceiling views of the harbor and bridge. We enjoyed Boat watching in the evenings. I really love the room so much, we are only here for two nights but you could stay comfortably in this room for a month if you could! And I have full kitchen, living room, desk, separate bedroom, and two bathrooms!
